Beautiful, The Superliners look small compared to the new ones, poor old B would be lost in their shadows. Which one of the Bi-Centennials is it? Can't make out the name on the deflector. Paul

It hurts Veterans. Every time a flag is burned I feel and most all of my VNV and DAV post members feel it is show contempt for the service members who gave the lives, were wounded or were lucky and came home for that "freedom". It is nothing more than disrespect. It's their right to burn it, but I'll do jail time if it is done in front of me.

I find it hard believe you really have respect for us or any non-union smuck, when it isn't convenient or politically correct.

US DOL findings Nearly fifty years after John F. Kennedy first condemned corrupt leadership in the American labor movement, it is still plagued by rampant corruption, embezzlement, racketeering and influence from numerous organized crime organizations. From penny-ante theft to multi-million dollar embezzlement schemes, labor leaders continue to violate the trust of the members they claim to represent. The labor movement is nothing but the sum of its many parts—millions of working Americans who’ve entrusted union leaders to spend a portion of their hard earned salary for the benefit of the collective good. Financially speaking, the sum of the movement’s parts totals more than $10 billion dollars annually in mandatory dues and controls another $400 billion in financial assets in strike funds, pension plans, and health care benefits. In fact, in just the last five years, hundreds (maybe thousands) of labor leaders at all levels of the movement have been convicted of embezzlement, corruption, racketeering, or engaging in organized crime. The problem is rampant, getting worse, and yet the unions seemingly refuse to address it. The Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act’s (LMRDA) reliance on self-government, public disclosure, and ultimately deterrence has failed; The Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) has investigated and prosecuted union leaders for embezzling more than $100 million in union dues since 2001; Investigations by the DOL’s Office of Inspector General, which investigates labor racketeering and organized crime’s influence within the labor movement, has resulted in more than $1 billion in fines, restitutions, and forfeitures; Fewer than 5 percent of unions audited by the DOL received unqualified clear passes.

To quote you "Proof" ? If the system was gamed and you have proof of it, it is your duty as a citizen to do one of the following things. Legal Route via law suit or injunction, Petition, the media with your proof, accept the results, revolt or whine about it to people who don't care.

Couple of toughies. I think the AWD mixer was concerted by Sicard. Second is a converted car hauler. 10 wheel A-700 is the last. Kemp had a few 6 wheel A-700 trucks. Paul http:// http:// http://

Now most all know there are many forms of racism. Teamstergrrl while pointing the finger at Heavygunner and others here as being racists, you are one of the biggest racists here. Here are your forms of treating people with respect. Calling the people who worked for and are collecting S.S. and Medicare "Clinkers and living off the system" isn't racist? Calling people who don't fit your progressive socialist mold "scared old whitemen" isn't racist? People who work for themselves and aren't Union are stupid? I would bet you were in the group of self righteous "Smart People" who protested and spit on myself and others who came home from Vietnam. . from a war the Democrats started. You're bar none them most prejudiced and racist person on this site. I know racists, my grand father and father were Knights of the Cross, I've seen it first hand .You fit. Now I've had my say, you will slur, insult and belittle me as per your superior way. I know most all on BMT better are than that and better than you

Looks like a good unit, would be hard pressed to fine another like it. You could make a decent buck working it. Its definitely not something to part out. Plus pars are easily available for it. Paul -
The Dodge cabs were based on the late 1950's Basic Design Mopar Corporate cabs used from 1/2 ton pick up all the to the OTR units.

Trump and Immigration (Illegal Immigrants in the US)

Nothing but $7 Canadian and a smile! But. . . U.S. citizens and travelers with a current valid Canadian visa, Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA. and need a valid passport for entry. -

Severely penalize the people who rent to them, hire them and end the government support for them, the attraction for them to come here and to stay here goes away. What happens in Europe or the mid East with Illegals is not our problem. The tunnels in N. Korea and Gaza are not tunnels for refugee or illegal immigrants but for military and terrorists, They were being used in Gaza for that in the early 1970's when we lived there and now by Hamas and PLO for the same reasons. N. and S Korea, E and W Germany at the time were split countries with like culture, heritage, history and race, not like the U.S.and South of the Border with different cultures and races. -

Canada's Prime Minster Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will lift the visa requirement for Mexican visitors as of December 1st, 2016. Currently, Mexicans need to apply for a visa to visit, study or work in Canada. On and after December 1st, Mexicans who want to fly or transit through Canada only need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization online, which costs only seven Canadian dollars and takes only a few minutes to complete. It's good news for law-abiding Mexican citizens, but will present a security challenge to our northern border. While it is welcome news to law-abiding Mexicans, this unfortunately will make it easier for criminals such as drug dealers and human traffickers to enter into Canada and in turn illicitly enter into the U.S. In addition, due to Mexico's weak passport control and considerable corruption, nationals from outside of Mexico, such as Guatemalans, could obtain Mexican passports without difficulty, and then hop on a plane first to Canada and then cross over to the U.S. -
“Stanford Institute's PensionTracker ( http://www.pensiontracker.org/ ) listing local agencies, and data for every state. California ranked seventh highest nationwide for debt-per-household when viewed through rose-colored glasses ($22,210); and third-highest in the nation when viewed through skeptic’s glasses ($74,661). “I was a little surprised that the unfunded amount per household is as high as it is,” said Joe Nation, public policy professor at Stanford and director of the data project. All told, California’s public service unions (SEIU, CTA ) pension systems are $281.5 billion short, including pension bond debt. Through Mr Nation’s lens, they’re nearly $1 trillion in the hole – or $946.4 billion.” (Joe Nation PhD, Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research) Police, firefighter and teachers unions in California do the most damage at the local level. They have attained unsustainable pensions, known as “3%@50”, meaning that a member of that bargaining unit is eligible at age 50 for a pension equivalent to 3% of his highest salary times their number of years of service. At age 50, a 20-year veteran can retire with a pension equivalent to 60% of their highest year’s salary, which can be manipulated through spiking, and a 30-year veteran is eligible for 90% of his or her highest salary. These pension requirements are held under the “California Rule” to be irreversible. In other words, once they have been adopted, democracy is incapable of turning off the spigot. With the spigot running constantly, communities go bankrupt. First, they cut other services. Then they increase taxes. Then they refuse to pay bondholders, so no one will invest again.

And the American Standard debacle. Alas I believe it was my fault, I sent my squatters over for some hot sauce and they came home smelling like smoke and no hot sauce.

It's a "lip " style seal with the clutch cross shaft out it would be about the same as doing an Rear Axle or Pinion Seal seal on a automotive rear. Clean it up well, see if there is a part number visible on the seal and try to get it before you pull the old seal. I drill a 1/8 hole and a small slide hammer to pop them out. Use a seal installation tool to drive it in if possible. Be sure to grease the lip on the seal before you install it so it doesn't run dry on first use and eat the seal. Not a big job just time. Clutch assembly is all rebuild-able, some one should know who and where. Maybe Larry (Freightrain) That said are you sure it's the pilot bearing seal and not the grease hose going into it? I'd clean it up and pump some grease into it to see if it's the hose or seal. Paul

Dear President-Elect Trump, Congratulations, sir. You have achieved what could very well amount to one of the greatest political victories in the history of the human race. Excepting your family, some close advisers, a relatively few sympathetic commentators, and your army of Deplorables, the rest of the world attacked you with a zealotry the likes of which no one alive today can recollect ever having witnessed. The Government-Media-Academic-Hollywood Complex pulled out all of the stops, lying and slandering you at every turn. The villainous George Soros, with his paid Stormtroopers who he dispatched to disrupt your mega-rallies, failed. Pope Francis, who has sat smiley-faced for photo-ops with Barack Obama—the first president in the United States to coerce Catholic employers to subsidize contraceptives and abortion services—couldn’t resist inserting himself into an American presidential election by challenging your claim to be a Christian. Happily, he too is now among this year’s Biggest Losers. In a little more than one year, you, Mr. Trump, retired the Clinton and Bush families while defeating as well the Obamas, for make no mistakes about it, your victory signaled a resounding repudiation of Barack Hussein Obama’s presidency and legacy. You defied all of the attempts of pollsters to manipulate the electorate by inflating their numbers for Hillary Clinton. That’s right: You proved the pollsters wrong, yes, but, more importantly, you drew back the curtain to reveal their dishonesty. You showed that they weren’t merely incorrect; the pollsters were deceptive. Your resilience, President-Elect Trump, undermined as well whatever little credibility the corporate media world had left. Publications of long-standing repute, like the New York Times and Washington Post, are now exposed as being nothing more or less than propagandist outlets for the Democratic Party. They once contained articles in which you were described as “buffoonish.” Now, the shoe is clearly on the other foot. It is they who can no longer be taken seriously. But it isn’t just the so-called “liberal” media that you have unveiled for what it truly is. By its coverage of your campaign, “conservative” media too is unmasked as being but another arm of the very Establishment that its personalities pretended to oppose. The folks at National Review, The Weekly Standard, and The Blaze, as well assome radio hosts from Salem Broadcasting and elsewhere, to say nothing of some of Fox News’ stars, have been made to eat crow. They are as guilty of misleading and manipulating their audiences as are their more left-leaning counterparts. Figuratively speaking, they have all been “fired” by your success, relegated to the ranks of the has-beens. They have been fired on the grounds of their dishonesty, lack of originality, cowardice—in short, their willingness to be overcome by the groupthink of their peers. Mr. Trump, you had to go to war with your own party, for they declared war on you. Your enemies in the press and the rest of the Democrat wing of the Regime relentlessly besieged you with charges of every “ism” and “phobia,” charges that, until now, had reduced lesser types to ruins. You never wavered. You never pandered. And you won. It was said that you wanted to have sex with your daughter, that you mocked the disabled, that you threw a baby out of one of your rallies, and that you raped a 13 year-old child. It was said—it continues being said—that you are a “racist” who said of all Mexicans that they are rapists and criminals and of all Muslims that they needed to be permanently banned from the United States. These were lies, vicious, nasty lies. You persisted. And you won. The dozens of millions of Americans who backed you felt the sting of these baseless allegations personally. They knew that the very same suspects who slandered you in this way wouldn’t have hesitated to do the same to them. Hell, your enemies have been doing to this to themfor decades. The tireless cries of “white racism,” “institutional racism,” and “white privilege;” “sexism;” “homophobia;” “transphobia;” “Islamophobia;” and “xenophobia”—summed up most recently in Hillary Clinton’s characterization of “half” of your supporters as “irredeemable” and “deplorable”—is what undoubtedly rallied the troops behind you. Blacks and Hispanics who supported you also know a thing or two about being demonized. They knew this long before you came along when they dared to break with the racial mental conformity into which their co-ethnics and their white liberal apologists tried to force them. You persisted. The Deplorables persisted. And you won. Now, though, people affiliated with the Republican Party who had gratuitously attacked you, people like Mitt Romney, say, are knocking on your door. Reportedly, Mr. Trump, they are being considered for positions in your cabinet. I beg of you, sir, please do not reward them. Romney was especially vicious. He wasn’t a former rival of yours. Quite the contrary: Romney was a presidential candidate four years ago who came to you for financial backing, backing that you graciously provided. Then, upon losing, he all but vanished from public life for nearly four years. When he did decide to reemerge, it wasn’t for the sake of blasting President Obama, but for the sake of eviscerating you, Mr. Trump. And did he treat you mercilessly! President-Elect Trump, far from losing in a landslide while bringing the rest of the Republican Party down with you, as many Republicans and “conservatives” insisted, you actually won your race and helped the Republicans to acquire more power in the government than any that they had since 1928. As recently as November 7, both the Democrats and too many GOPers were absolutely certain that Hillary Clinton would be the next president and the Democrats would be setting the structure and agenda of the Supreme Court, and the nation, for the next generation. Within one 24 hour period, thanks to you and your army of Deplorables, the world was inverted. Your presidency can be a successful one, President-Elect Trump, as long as you deliver on your promises to the legions of Americans who voted for you. One of those promises was to “drain the swamp” that is Washington D.C. However, you cannot drain a swamp while inviting swamp creatures to bury in more deeply. Be mindful of your friends and your enemies, Mr. Trump. Be mindful that your supporters rallied around you because of the enemies that you made within the Regime. Wreck the Regime, or at least dramatically reconfigure it. Please, do not give it a new lease on life. Sincerely, Jack Kerwick
