Could Clintons have the magic bullet to win the election here?............ Why does the Department of Homeland Security all of a sudden want to oversee security for the election in November? Just a little while ago I checked the Drudge Report, and I was greeted by the following headline all in red: “HOMELAND SECURITY TO TAKE CHARGE OF ELECTIONS”. I was immediately alarmed, because I had already heard about how local election databases had been hacked, and Donald Trump has expressed concern that the presidential election in November could be rigged somehow. So I immediately clicked on the link and it took me to an article from the Washington Examiner But can a Department of Homeland Security that has been packed with Obama appointees actually be trusted to handle the security for our elections in a fair manner? The integrity of our elections is absolutely paramount. Without free and fair elections we might as well not even have a country. So the fact that hackers have proven that they can hack into some of our systems is quite alarming indeed. Even before the FBI identified new cyber attacks on two separate state election boards, the Department of Homeland Security is considering declaring the election a “critical infrastructure,” giving it the same control over as it has over Wall Street and and the electric power grid. The latest admissions of attacks could speed up that effort possibly including the upcoming presidential election, according to officials. “We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process, is critical infrastructure like the financial sector, like the power grid,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said. Three days ago, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., sent a letter to Comey, expressing concern that “the threat of the Russian government tampering in our presidential election is more extensive than widely known and may include the intent to falsify official election results.” In late June an “unknown actor scanned a state’s Board of Election website for vulnerabilities” and, after identifying a security gap, exploited the vulnerability to conduct a “data exfiltration,” or unauthorized data transfer, the FBI said in a recent bulletin. Earlier this month, hackers used the same vulnerability in an “attempted intrusion activities into another state’s Board of Election system,” the FBI said. The FBI’s analysis of the hacks, contained in a security alert first reported byYahoo News, shows that Arizona’s elections website was penetrated in June using a common vulnerability that’s well known to security experts. Then, in July, Illinois’ voter files were accessed apparently using stolen login credentials, which could have been obtained by spear phishing a state employee. During the primary election in Arizona, for instance, a number of Republican voters found that their party affiliation had been changed without their knowledge. When they showed up to vote in the state’s closed primary elections, some were told they were ineligible to vote with the party of their choice. State officials have blamed the problem at least in part on an error at the state’s driver registration bureau. But similar problems have reportedly cropped up in California, Connecticut, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania. The following headline from U.S. News & World Report caught my eye: “A Candidate’s Death Could Delay or Eliminate the Presidential Election“. This is how that article begins… The presidential election could be delayed or scrapped altogether if a candidate dies or drops out before Nov. 8. The perhaps equally startling alternative, if there’s enough time: Small groups of people hand-picking a replacement pursuant to obscure party rules. The scenarios have been seriously considered by the White House, Homeland Security and a few politicos outside of the legal community and likely are too morbid for polite discussion in politically mixed company. But they have pondered the effects and possible ways to address a late-date vacancy. “There’s nothing in the Constitution which requires a popular election for the electors serving in the Electoral College,” says John Nagle, a law professor at the University of Notre Dame, meaning the body that officially elects presidents could convene without the general public voting. There are many among the elite that would be extremely happy if something caused Donald Trump not to make it to election day. So let us definitely pray for his health and safety and the health and safety of his family. This election season has already been the strangest one that we have seen in decades, and I have a feeling that it is going to get a lot stranger over the next couple of months as Team Hillary gets more and more desperate. Paul.

Votes and money, with a side of the old line "with the crimes we need more gun laws". Also what better way to destroy America with his hatred than flood the country with the dregs of society?

If you want to see hypocrisy on display and a person speaking out of both sides of their mouth in under 2 minutes, then you need to see the video of Barack Hussein Obama, in which he comments on the Supreme Court's deadlock over the issue of his illegal and unconstitutional executive amnesty. He said that the decision did not affect his unlawful policies and that to solve the problem of illegal immigration, Congress would have to pass a law, which he would ignore if it was against his views. Thursday's deadlock decision of 4-4 in the Supreme Court upheld an injunction on Obama's 2014 Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents policy. However, Obama remained defiant that the majority of illegal aliens in the country are not at risk for deportation, and that it would take Congress passing another law in order to solve the problem of illegal immigration. Obama said that his administration would "prioritize" some, they would not threaten others with deportation. "Our enforcement priorities that have been laid out by Secretary Jeh Johnson at the Department of Homeland Security are pretty clear," he said. "We prioritize criminals. We prioritize gangbangers. We prioritize folks who have just come in." But is this true? Consider the prioritizing that was given to the flood of illegals across the southern border in June 2014. There was such prioritizing that Homeland Security sought escorts for 65,000 illegal immigrant children in January of that year, demonstrating they were orchestrating the whole thing. Consider the prioritizing of deporting criminals and gangbangers by this administration. This administration releases then into the US instead of deporting them. In April, we reported that the Obama administration released an illegal alien and upon his release, killed 21-year-old Sarah Root in a drunk driving accident. In June of 2015, Michael Ware reported that in those first six months of the year, 121 murders were committed by illegal aliens the Obama administration released. That's not all. According to Freedom of Information Act documents obtained in early 2015, Homeland Security released into the general population of the united States 165,900 convicted criminal illegal aliens. In December 2014, I reported that another 30,862 illegal alien criminals were released into our neighborhoods by this criminal administration rather than deport them. In March of that same year, a report was released that 68,000 convicted illegal aliens were released in 2013. And what do these people do when released? They simply commit more crimes because they have no regard for the law. How can Barack Obama claim to be following the law when instead of doing what the law demands, which is to deport these people, he releases 75% of them into the population of the US? Following the decision, Obama said, "Today's decision is frustrating to those who seek to grow our economy and bring a rationality to our immigration system, and to allow people to come out of the shadows." Sen. Jeff Sessions said that the decision was "not just a victory for Texas, Alabama, and a majority of the States in this great nation who challenged the lawless actions of the Obama Administration, but a victory for the American people and for the rule of law." What's amazing in all of this is how Obama has failed to enforce immigration laws, but yet, claims it will take Congress writing another law to solve the problem of illegal immigration. Well, I would agree it's a victory for the rule of law Senator, but where is Congress in seeking a victory for the rule of law and impeaching the usurper in the White House? Where are the articles of impeachment against Barack Hussein Obama for his many high crimes and misdemeanors, even treason? Why are the American people not being given the justice the Constitution demands for such a lawless man?

The top one that is less robust would most likely be the war time one, with rivets and smaller spring coils and other simplified parts mainly as the saving on use of steel for non weapon/armor production and for minimally trains people to assemble. Paul

The most vulnerable are high-strength steels, titanium alloys and aluminum alloys. Hydrogen embrittlement is on the atomic level NOT a Gas level. It is a contaminant in the environment that is a by-product of general manufacturing of steel and titanium also from rust and corrosion. It is the latter that concerns the nuclear industry. Hydrogen may be produced by corrosion reactions such as rusting, cathodic protection for stick or non gas shielded MIG welding, and from Zinc, Galvanizing or Chrome electroplating, phosphating and pickling; if a material subject to such operations is susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement then a final, baking heat treatment to expel any hydrogen is employed. There is a Department of Defense Standard for dealing with it, we had to learn and follow when I got my Navy Welding Certification (DOD 03-30) Paul -
"People should and do trust me" - Hillary Clinton

I assume a large part of the monies raised will be to buy off pay off the psychologists she needs to review Trumps past 40 years to find his "trigger points' for a melt down at the debate. Seeing as she apparently has nothing else in her arsenal like a plan for jobs, immigrants, taxes and such. (well she does have a tax plan. . . raise them) Seems it will be Bills plan to "Homestead the Syrian refuges" in Detroit and Chicago giving them 10,000 + abandoned houses and cash grants to rebuild them into new vibrant neighborhoods. -
Been on here as an "in progress resto". A ton of MACKS and other things there. His Dad is a collector of trucks and trailers.

I'm sure the $2371.00 will be made up via less driver pay or less needed maintenance. Wasn't there a study when CALDOT mandated areo kits, that the benefits came into play at higher than "legal" speeds?
-
So our hours behind the wheel is limited and now we will limit the speed so the run takes even longer, drivers load numbers are cut down and so is their salary. Production, labor, consumer costs are higher...sounds like a plan for Soro's railroad market. Maybe if drivers were educated how to interact with trucks and other heavy vehicles, the accident rate would severely drop. People have no concept of large vehicles speeds . . . guess that's also why they get hit by the big slow trains. Going to limit my speed? well please limit Vinny and Victoria's 170 m.p.h BMW too, so when I'm doing the allowed speed of 63.45 m.p.h. they won't be able slam into the rear end on my unit when they're traveling at 100 m.p.h.. If it's good for me, it's good for them also.

ATA Proposes 65 MPH Speed Limiter For Trucks and Cars
41chevy replied to grayhair's topic in Trucking News
Obama tried this a few years ago, seems he needs to leave a big open sore on the working people before he leaves office. Two lane each way highway, truck a doing 58 m.p.h., truck b going 62 m.p.h. pulls out to pass. . . takes miles to pass . John Q public will not tolerate that law for long. Speed limiter on my 1970 300 Hurst Chrysler is based on the balls factor. . . smaller means slower, with the 440 TNT engine,727A trans and 2:73 gears it tops out at 136 according to GPS. -
Ford original truck 2 speed rear was cable shifted, the rears in the photo are Vacuum shifted. Look close the drive into the rears is Fords Torque Tube set up with a sprocket on the shaft for the drive chain to spin the rears. Some where packed from our move is the sales literature / price sheet on that tandem conversion.

Like the unit in the back ground in photo 2 also. Paul

Critics push U.S. to help Europe by taking more refugees
41chevy replied to kscarbel2's topic in Odds and Ends
Hillary said he is a true warrior and hero. (remember she has been under heavy fire in a war zone ) Got a medal for shooting up a few hooches, got a Purple Heart for egg shell fragments and tossed them into the Reflecting Pool, and called us in service tools of the Military Industrial Complex. Bigger piece of sh*t than Jane Fonda. Hopefully, only Obama will be the only refugee. -
Ton of them in S.E. Asia, bigger ones had Ford MUTT engines in the early 1970's. Paul
