Let the crap begin............................... A day after shooting, House Democrats erupt in protest MARY CLARE JALONICK - Associated Press International WASHINGTON (AP) — A day after a mass shooting in Orlando, Democratic lawmakers erupted on the House floor with loud criticism of House Speaker Paul Ryan and other Republican leaders for leaving the nation's gun laws untouched. Some protested by leaving the House chamber during a moment of silence honoring the victims. Democrats yelled "Where's the bill?" and "No leadership!" Monday evening after Ryan held a moment of silence for 49 people killed at an Orlando nightclub early Sunday. The disruption came after South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn, the No. 3 Democrat in the House, attempted to ask Ryan on the floor when bills curbing gun use would be considered. Before Clyburn could finish, Ryan ruled his question out of order and directed the House to move to the next vote. A handful of Democrats left the House floor during the moment of silence, including Connecticut Rep. Jim Himes. Himes said earlier Monday in an interview that he's done with the moments typically held on the House floor after mass shootings, calling them "obnoxious expressions of smug incompetence" and the perfect metaphor for congressional inaction on guns. Himes' Connecticut district is close to Newtown, where a gunman killed 20 first-graders and six adults at an elementary school in 2012. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi stayed for the moment of silence and said she supported it. But after the disruption, she told reporters that Democrats have "had enough" of the ritual after mass shootings "when Congress does not act on bills that could keep guns out of the hands of criminals, the President will!" "The moment of silence is an act of respect, and we supported that, but it is not a license to do nothing," she said. Leaving the House chamber, Ryan, R-Wis., declined to comment on the exchange. Ryan spokeswoman AshLee Strong tweeted that Democrats were politicizing the moment of silence, and called that "disheartening." Himes is not the first Democrat to protest the ritual. When a moment was held to honor victims of a deadly shooting rampage in San Bernardino, California, in December, several Democrats criticized it. "We need to stand up, speak up, and take actions rather than another moment of silence," said Rep. Robin Kelly, D-Ill., in a House floor speech at the time. "It is deafening, and it is killing us, we need to totally eliminate gun ownership now."

BBC (Radio Free Europe) said that an unspoken Federal Policy caused the investigations to end, as per a statement from an anonymous FBI source. True or not it would not surprise me

Everybody on the planet knows gun free zones are an invitation for open hunting, well almost everyone, seems some of Academia believe it works. The ball was dropped because of the White House policy against profiling and the blood of those people is on Obamas hands as much or more than the shooter. If he does what he usually does and uses it as an opportunity to further his agenda of disarming his "enemies" he will have (at least) in my world gained one more count of treason. All I see and hear are excuses and dancing around the Islamic Terrorist hat.

Good luck! I had a fight with the police and the DA to have it classed as a felony. They valued two Max Wedge engines and a blown Alcohol Hemi at a few hundred dollars, shit when I showed them the cost to replace them. Get a value on the cab and parts , even if its from back when and push the DA. I pushed them and it turned out the dope thief was my own grandson. Put his a$$ in jail too. Paul

Hillary the possible new Commander-unIn-Carcerated says that the gun law on back ground checks do not work and are too easy to lie on. (?) We need new legislation to stop gun owners from selling weapons to criminals on street corners. She knows many people who drive to Vermont and buy hundreds of assault rifles to sell at gun shows and on Craigs list. (on the planet A hole) She now says that she will, on her first day in office sign an executive order to make owning a gun or ammunition a Federal Crime to protect our children and our LGBT people. Hunters can keep their Federally Registered guns it a tracking devise, at a State or Federal Police station and sign them out to go hunting. I am proud to have been included in her statement that " the 6 or 7% of the population that has military service are the second biggest terrorist threat to our citizens, more so than ISIS, because they can make terror devises in their kitchen " (Got a good recipe from Martha Stewart). THEY APPEAR TO BE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE NEW CHANCE TO PUSH THEIR AGENDA THROUGH......... ACLU is blaming the shooting on Christian Conservatives for passing over 200 laws against gays. Seems only BBC mentioned that Shira Laws require the killing of gays. Remember the old Obama statement during the Gulf Oil Spill " never let a good crisis go to waste ".

I gather Hillary's and Obama's saying we need stiffer gun laws so criminals and terrorists can't buy them isn't good? A Holes, typical reaction, punish the law abiding!
-
This is the M O R O N who said one of his proudest moments as president was drawing a line in the sand and than not acting on his "threat". Born of Afgan parents and all obamas media say is it was an American Citizen whose motives are not known. This is just the start! There will be more before Obama declares Martial Law before the election

Musings Of An Average Joe: Some Valuable Advice For Radical, Violent Trump Protesters Published June 12, 2016 AP By Joe Bilello - Fox News There has been a general lack of universal condemnation of the violent protests we have seen at Donald Trump rallies around the nation. While many prominent politicians have officially denounced the violence, they have deflected the blame from the actual perpetrators to the supposedly hateful rhetoric allegedly coming from the Trump campaign. Others in the media have actually endorsed the violence, and called for more of it as the 2016 presidential election draws closer. Recently suspended Vox editor called for people to "start a riot" if Trump comes to town and a Huffington Post writer claimed that violence was a "logical" response to Trump. It does not appear that violent anti-Trump protests will be going away anytime soon, so here is some advice for the radical, racist, cowardly, ignorant, lunatic protesters. * Don’t cover your face - If you have to cover your face, you are essentially admitting that you are completely in the wrong. You are either ashamed of what you are doing or you're planning to commit premeditated acts of violence. You are standing up against hatred and bigotry in the name of justice, right? You should be proud of what you are doing. The only people who voluntarily cover their faces are terrorists, bank robbers and radical left-wing protesters. I'm pretty sure Dr. King never covered his face. * Don't pick and choose where you protest - You’re brave, passionate and devoted to your noble cause. Show up anywhere and everywhere Donald Trump is speaking to voice your opposition to “hate and racism.” Make your presence known at events like the Rolling Thunder Memorial Day biker rally. Sneak up behind a 6-foot-5-inch, 300-pound Hell's Angel and cold-cock him with a blindside punch to the face like several cowards did in San Jose last week. Interestingly enough, there never seems to be many protesters at biker rallies. There are no burning American flags or unfurled Mexican flags proudly waving. No eggs are being hurled, no "Bernie" chants can be heard and no Harley-Davidson headlights are being smashed. Perhaps it's because bullies are less inclined to bully someone who might stomp their face in. * At least pretend to know why you are protesting - As organized as many left-wing protests are, there is one thing the organizers often forget to do - tell the protesters why they are there. Hand out pamphlets containing different responses to the inevitable question a reporter might ask: “Why are you here?” That way, the protesters won't sound so much like the ignorant fools they are. They won’t fumble around attempting to concoct one semi-coherent statement. When posed the question "Can you give me one example," they won't say things like "there's too many to name." (How did this become an acceptable answer? You weren't asked to name everything, just one. There's too many examples to name one?) Stay on message. Don’t bring unrelated signs like those who brought "down with capitalism" signs to an alleged police brutality protest. If you are marching for justice for Freddie Gray, take the time to spell the name of the man you care so deeply about correctly. Don't carry signs that say "Justice 4 Freddie Grey." * Try not to abuse women - Pelting an innocent woman in the face with eggs is not the best way to advance the cause of feminism. * Get a job - Studies show that if you are at work or have to work early the next day, you are significantly less likely to spend your evenings assaulting women and setting things on fire. If you earn an income, you may begin to purchase things that become your property. People who own things they care about are less likely to destroy other people’s property. If you start paying taxes you won't want to support Bernie Sanders anymore and thus, won't need to protest. * Don't protest alleged or completely fabricated racism with actual racism - Carrying signs that say "Make America Brown again" is not the best way to win the hearts and minds of Americans other than the radical racists who are already on your side. * You don’t want to “Make America Mexico Again” – Young kids at a Trump event in California who were being used as props carried signs saying “Make America Mexico Again.” If this is your goal, there is an easy solution – go to Mexico, or at least stay in Mexico. But be careful what you ask for. If your dream comes to fruition, you will have to pack up all over again and sneak across the border into Canada. And it's cold up there.

That's exactly why I held on to my 1988 Dodge Ram until last year. It was a basic truck. All heavy duty systems, New Process truck trans, rubber floor mat, vinyl seats, P.S. , P.B. and that's it. No AC, Stereo or 4x4, just a basic work unit. Replaced it with a left over 2015 Ram 5500 Tradesman cab and chassis with a 204" wheelbase. Cummins, 6 speed stick, AC delete, center console delete and rubber floor mats. Only options are the PTO, twin fuel tanks. List $41000 $36500 left over price plus $3500 trade in on my old Dodge.$33000 cash out the door. I'll put a rack body with a lift gate on it in a few months when we are settled in the VA. homestead. "People should and do trust me" - Hillary Clinton
41chevy replied to kscarbel2's topic in Odds and Ends
So the American tax payers must foot the bull for Obama to fly around the county to stump for Hillary. One brief mention of a bill or issue he wants action on takes it from a campaign trip paid for by him or the Democratic party, to a Presidential business trip that the tax payers fund. -
Dodge also realizes the many people don't want a club or crew cab but a regular old truck and bed, and I will say GM's light truck sales are geared towards the Suburban McMansion Cowboys.

Also most people don't know the difference between Aluminum that they associate with beer cans and AlClad (Aero Space industry is the biggest user). Which is high strength, high impact aircraft grade which in many cases is stronger than steel. Let Mr Lowe drop a cement block on the skin of a 747 and see the same result, panic the innocent public???
