  1. If you add "OH Crap" in with all that,it lasts for months at a time!
  2. I figured as much, but mentioned it because it seems most mechanics now in awe on carbs, points and such "complicated" systems.
  3. He works a 4 day, 40 hour week and stays 3 nights in a rented room on English Tavern Rd. He's first on the list for an open slot at Carters Richmond Earth Moving shop. He wants to buy a house near Mechanicsville.
  4. Double check the float to 1) be sure it's not "leaky" and 2) that is isn't set to high so it over fills the fuel bowl. Paul
  5. Net worth between $750 million and $1.2 billion. According to most recently released income tax of 2003, Kerry and Heinz paid an effective federal income tax rate of 12%. Heinz and Kerry live an affluent life. They own a six-floor, $7 million townhome in Boston's Beacon Hill neighborhood, a $9 million ocean-front home on Nantucket, a $5 million ski cabin in Idaho, a $4 million estate in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, near the Heinz family's home base of Pittsburgh, a $5 million home in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C, a $2.7 million cottage in Mozambique and 4 yachts worth $55 million that are kept in different ports of the world.
  6. Kerry called Rubio's boat a frivolous purchase, it's a 24 foot, twin Mercury outboard powered open fishing boat. You can rent Kerry's from him for a mere $45,000.00 per day plus fuel, food, drink and a 5 star Chef.
  7. BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family’s new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to the cash-strapped Bay State. If the “Isabel” were kept at the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee’s summer vacation home on Nantucket, or in Boston Harbor near his city residence, he would be liable for $437,500 in one-time sales tax. He would also have to pay $70,000 in annual excise taxes. Rhode Island repealed those taxes in 1993. That has made the state something of a nautical tax haven. Side note: Kerry's $7 million luxury yacht that was built in New Zealand, even though one of the main industries in Kerry’s home is shipbuilding, an industry that has, by the way, been suffering of late and could have used the work – building a boat that size, according to some estimates, would employ the equivalent of an entire small town for 12 months. All the same. . .
  8. Ditto on the fuel pressure regulator, if you buy a new pump (which you don't need) you would still need to buy a regulator to bring the psi down. Paul.
  9. Google Chrome and JAVA are no longer supported for updates, I found when I had that problem I switched to using FireFox. Java updated on there and no more problems.
  10. Got a brand new 1970 Lear 4 / 8 track player for those tapes and a 1958 Mopar Hi-way Hi-Fi for the 45's.... nothing to put them in.
  11. Her comment today on Trumps tax records is cute! She pays more than her fair share. Might be believable if her 5 "foundations" weren't Delaware registered for tax purposes.
  12. Hope they succeed as it is beneficial to both Volvo, companies and the consumer
  13. The ellipse forms to the unloaded side, towards the top of the casing away from the highway.
  14. My wife had one of the Exxon /Mobil pay wands a few years ago, when she passed it over the pump thingie it would trigger the doors on her Bronco. So what happens if the signal is interrupted mid down load, do you lose what is being up dated or deleted and go to default mode or does it re connect and continue where it left off? I see some kid with an I pad and a Pringles can antenna playing with the program Paul
  15. I have a 1948 Sport Twin 500 with the internally sprung rear wheel sitting in the corner of my out buildings. Took it as trade for a pair of 55 Chevy nos fenders about 1979 or 80. Never payed attention to it. Also had a 1975 Trident 750 I bought in 1976 for my wife. She learned to ride it, got her license and never used it again. Gave it to my good grandson last year. He wants to ride it from Fork Union to his job at Carter Machinery near Lynchberg. When I finish packing up and get to that corner, I'll most likely be selling it.. It was driven to me for the swap.
  16. The way cording is layered on a radial flexes like a Chinese Finger puzzle, which is way a radial tire will hold on corners better than a Bias ply The diameter according to Bridgestone, the tire and casing becomes elliptical through side wall flex, low PSI/ BAR and inertia. I tried to post their High Speed video of the tire changes but the site won't let me transfer or even link it.
  17. Can't hurt

    Trump

Most will never change they "know" they are smarter than as Teamstergrrrl said a long time ago " you old white guys clinging to your Bible and Guns" The options for change I feel are being slowly eliminated except one

    Trump

I would imagine the ones who are not dead or getting paid to vote are "normal. The balance who blindly vote the party line, want the "free" crap they're promised or the sexually, morally bankrupt are just plain sicko. When you have a government that openly the values the rights of illegals and our enemies more than it's own citizens that's what you get
  20. Air pressure affects the tire contact patch and diameter. Heat from driving effect the tire diameter, contact patch (width) and wear. The slicks on my Mustang go from 11.5 wide and 27 inches tall warm at the end of my pass they are 9 1/2 to 10 wide and 30+ tall from the heat and air pressure . Run two same tires on with a 5 psi difference cold you have a 5/16 difference in height and a contact patch on the lower psi tire will the outer edge of the tread. When the tires run the heat generated causes the tire diameter to grow. The low psi tire diameter will grow 1/4 inch mostly from centrifugal force not heat. The tire with the higher psi will grow 1/4 to 3/8 inches. Final tire disparity will be 7/16 inches diameter between the high and low inflated tires and a temperature difference of 100 degrees F or more.
  21. BINGO!!!! I.m getting regulated on how and when I can Irrigate my piddly little farm and on any run off , the amount of nitrates in fertilizer I can use, (which is less than the people use on lawns) when and how I can till or plow under because of pollen, mold and soil dust particles, even the waste from my chickens, sheep, rabbits and pig is regulated for store age and disposal. I did beat the Township of Riverhead on my old Cat on the front lawn, can't make me move it because it holds my mail box. (In my Avatar pic) and Suffolk County on my old trucks. I put collector insurance on all of them and got NYS Collector tags for ever one. Local yuppie regulations are even hindering our selling our houses in Oyster Bay Cove, Shirley and Riverhead so we can move to Va.
  22. I see, I looked at the correct # and gave you the wrong #. Break out the welder and make the cable mount and hope you find the arm in a yard.
  23. Ethanol subsidies are a big factor in the mid western primaries, most candidates promise the subsidies will continue. It's $ that's all. Gore made millions with his Green agenda so has many Green tech companies
  24. Look at my regulation cost post in the Trump thread. Regulation fees and costs cost each house hold 15000 a year as of 2014 and the monies generated by the regs make it the 9th largest economy ahead of Russia! Paul
  25. Afraid mister O and the UN want us to use nothing that has any The EPA gave our Clean burn Coal Technology to China. The new EPA/UN target is Hydo-electic and Natural Gas.
