  2. Only relation to Ford is the cab shape. MACK was 100% MACK made. Ford bought the BUDD Cabs as assembled units, MACK bought the stampings and added their own designed floor and dog house and assembled it themselves. Don't see to many N models.
  3. Aero Freightliner.
  4. No ties. Low miles a inexpensive, seems like a good deal for some body. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/international/unspecified/1830435.html?refer=news
  5. Probably to your advantage to pull the cap off. There looks like a good amount of mung in the tank. Probably would have caused a bit of grief down the road. Paul
  6. Mid 80's to mid 90's F750 and bigger Fords did the same thing. We ended up using ring terminals and the toggle switches with screw lugs with shrink tube to insulate it. Doesn't seem you would even have the room to do that.
  7. 6 terminal on off on switch? You can get them from Dorman or NKK or NAPA in 12 or 24 volt and up to a 35 amp rating. Paul
  8. Hope you both have a great day today. Paul
  9. Cummins, Dana and Perkins Rail Services to show a few. KW Freightliner and Pete . The Pete was originally Eaton Corp
  10. Already back over the border getting a new I.D and S.S.N !
  11. Me too! Paul
  12. It's an air lock power divider. The air locked power divider does not slip until something breaks! As it says should not be left engaged unloaded on a solid surface such as asphalt, or concrete roadways where there would be hardly any tire slippage. This is the Air brake schematic for my B-61, B-75 should be the same. My B and the few others I used in the distant past, the brakes disengage without air, be careful on initial start up. Mine and Horans have zero brakes until the air pressure it up.
  13. What does the core support mount look like? Biscuit , channel or? Paul
  14. I believe the seal on the shut off shaft is just an O ring behind a bushing.
  15. It was in Pa on Ebay 2 years ago and the bids were canceled and the auction pulled. It set up as a contractors truck when for sale. Unfortunately I have no idea where or what happened to it. Never got a response from the seller when it was pulled. I had bid a few grand on it at the time. Based on a B-42 chassis as I recall. Paul
  16. B models are popular, they seem to be what most everybody relates to when they think of an older MACK. Paul
  17. Here is same lay out as my B Mixer the 3rd switch sounds like a Lift Axle to me. Post a photo and we can id them for sure. Paul
