  8. If they are the biscut type front mounts NAPA may be able to cross them to a mid 50's early 60's Chevy car (before they went to side mounts)
  9. Just curious, was the shake there before you put new steer tires on it? An out of round or un balanced tire will case vibration at a specific speed Just throwing parts at it is senseless and wasting money. If you have broken or worn parts that you know are there, start by doing them. In your other thread on this subject, you asked if a broken spring would cause the vibration.. Is One Broken? Replace it before it causes a fatality. Every component should to be looked at for wear or damage from hard parts to bushings. do it visually and mechanically Does the vibration ease up at speed if you turn to the left or right? Any noise with the vibration? Paul
  10. No connection. In Lynchburg Virginia apparently dealer built in the 50's. As my wife walked past she said "don't even think about it!" http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/buick/roadmaster/1825889.html?refer=blog
  11. My friend Bob Rubin has the bridge from the track at his resturant. The last race track on the island and it's on a week to week basis with the local town. They want to put in an important thing. . .a parking garage.
  12. In our prayers.
  13. I hope the dealer and the company does the right thing. I was at Gabrellie this morning and asked my old time parts guy about the Remack engines, he asked me if it was factory or a dealer Remack. Didn't know there was different versions them. Paul

  16. I have photos of this unit from a year or two ago. Paul
  17. How are the bushings on the spring hangers? How are the tires, any odd wear patterns, cupping or thread seperation signs? Those will cause wobble and wandering. Paul
  18. You did. But in NY in 2011/12 the law was changed so any registered voter could vote in the primaries . GOP for GOP Dems for Dems and the Independents were the wild cards. The rule was changed again 2 weeks before the last primaries by the board of elections back to the original statute. Paul
  19. Nice photos. Sure like the Stude with the WWII "B" ration sticker on the glass. Shepherd is neat, never saw one. Paul
  20. I lost a contract with the Cross Sound Ferry co. after Sandy because my equipment was "old" the guy that got the contract spent most of his time at the dealer with computer problems from the flooding. I got the job through default at a 40% increase. Paul
  21. Good buy and you definitely deserve it.
  22. Almost looks like a WWI Liberty chassis. Paul
  23. And only 98 B-72 models made.
  24. Here you can't vote in a primary if your registered as and Independent.
