BUT AIN'T Da BAMAMA PAY'N FO IT FROM HIS STASH OF MONIES?? OOH SHEEEET.......... Guy Tries to Buy BMW with Food Stamps – One Day Later He Tries Something Even Stupider The American welfare state has already created widespread entitlement among lazy people who do nothing and still expect to be able to live the “good life” at the expense of everybody else. And it could get even worse than it is today. After all, if this guy votes for Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton, maybe he’ll finally get that free BMW he wants…

So it seems to me the " plan " is stop Trump causing a third party and that will Hillary or Sanders to win. Trump voters showing disgust and protests. The GOP can back Trump and cause protests and or riots before the elections............causing Obama to declare Martial Law and suspend the election and stay in charge until "the crisis passes". Paul

GOP And Left Hijack Race Published on TheHill.Com on March 22, 2016 2016 has seen the advent of two serious threats to our democratic process of choosing a president. One is from the right, as Republican Party bosses seek to reassert their ability to overrule the voters — and the other from the left, with demonstrators seeking to shout out Donald Trump and goad his all-too-susceptible followers into violence. The nexus of these twin threats is the same: fear of Trump. As he marches on toward the presidential nomination, he is sweeping aside the best the Republican Party has to offer. John Kasich hangs on by a thread. And only Ted Cruz stands in his way. But the fear he engenders has catalyzed the least democratic of our impulses: mob rule by the left and boss rule by the right. While Americans have fought and died for the right to select their leaders in elections, thousands more have been clubbed, gassed, exiled and imprisoned in the fight to get the right to nominate candidates in direct primaries. Before 1964, party bosses routinely selected the candidates. Primaries were for candidates who had something to prove, a form of auditioning for the party bosses. In 1952 and 1956, Adlai Stevenson won the Democratic nomination without competing in a single primary. In 1960, Kennedy fought in the primaries to prove that a Catholic could win and so he could persuade — but could not compel — the bosses to nominate him. But in 1964, Barry Goldwater turned the Republican establishment on its head by defeating Nelson Rockefeller in the primaries, leaving in the dust the old Eastern party establishment. When the left wing of the Democratic Party, animated by opposition to the Vietnam War, tried the trick in 1968, its candidates — Robert Kennedy, Eugene McCarthy and George McGovern — won all the primaries, but the party bosses nominated Hubert Humphrey nonetheless. Chicago, the scene of the convention, was gripped by days of rioting, police brutality, tear gas, billy clubs and arrests. So rent was the Democratic Party that it succumbed to Richard Nixon in the fall. Stung by the events of Chicago, Democrats — followed by Republicans — changed the rules and required that the delegates who chose the candidates be elected in primaries after making binding and public pledges of support for a candidate. Now the leaders of the Republican Party, terrified by the prospect of a nominee they cannot control and convinced they will not defeat Hillary Clinton in the fall, are mapping out a strategy to ignore the will of their voters and derail Trump at the convention. Nobody challenges the primary voting or alleges that the billionaire stole his victories. But the bosses would nonetheless have us turn away the candidate that got the most votes and instead nominate someone more to their liking. This strategy is obscene and a violation of the spirit of our nation and our democracy. Even if a candidate should fall just short of a majority but win the overwhelming plurality, he should not be stymied but must be nominated. On the left, noisy demonstrators try to disrupt Trump’s rallies. In the spirit of the communist “agents provocateur” of years past, they shove their signs in the face of Trump supporters, challenging them to physical combat. When Trump’s backers respond, they film it and broadcast it throughout the nation, piously decrying Trump’s authoritarian predilections. Meanwhile, the left-wing mob blocks traffic to stop people from exercising their First Amendment right of peaceful assembly. These threats to our democratic way of choosing a president must not be allowed to block the path of popular selection of the nominee — especially not when hundreds of thousands of voters are participating in the Republican primaries for the first time. We dare not make them more cynical by showing that their votes didn’t count. This election is not a question of whether or not you are for Donald Trump. It’s about whether or not you are for democracy.

I gather it is the steering shaft (column) connected to the box not the box itself. The roll pin would be on the shaft to the steering box itself. The recall affects 2016-2017 VNL, VNX and VNM trucks. Some trucks may be missing a roll pin on the steering shafts, potentially disconnecting the lower steering shaft from the junction block. Additionally, the bolt connecting the upper steering shaft to the lower steering shaft may not have been properly tightened. Both situations can cause the steering shaft to separate. The recall also affects certain 2016-2017 Mack Titan trucks, according to an FMCSA safety recall alert.Volvo and FMCSA are strongly recommending that owners refrain from driving affected vehicles until the final remedy – replacing the two-piece steering shaft with a one-piece shaft – is available. Initial notices were sent out to vehicle owners on March 14. Owners should expect a second notice when the final remedy is available. -

A lot of the Stump Jumpers near the Suffolk County Pine Barrens carry a spare and equipment to change it. Some times there is no other choice when you bust a trail. Paul

It a switch that allows the truck to start with 24 volts and with the key in run position runs the normal systems (lights etc) on 12 volts. 4 Battery cables from batteries and 2 small gauge wires from starter switch and amp meter. Here is the basic B model wiring schematic link. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/MusicVid/wiring_diagram.pdf -
That is the shielded data link cables ,do not damage the foil as it cuts outside interference with the data stream. . With out a scanner to check the balance of the system, I do not believe there is much you will be able to do aside from checking the connections.

From Mack Information System: Blink code 6-4: J1939 serial data line Failure Mode Identifier FMI: 8 (Abnormal) Parameter Identification: S231 Message Identification MID: 128 (Abnormal), 142 (Abnormal) Circuit Description: The V-MAC III system uses the J1939 data line to control communication between the Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU), Engine Electronic Control Unit (EECU), Anti-lock Brake System Control Unit, Allison Transmission Control Unit, and accessory systems, depending on vehicle model and option content. The J1939 data line is an expandable data bus, allowing the addition of accessory control modules (Collision Avoidance, Traction Control, etc.) to be connected to the circuit. The J1939 data line is comprised of two circuits; the L circuit and the H circuit. The two wires are twisted together to prevent outside electrical noise from interfering with the data being carried by the L and H circuits. The V-MAC III system is designed to allow continued engine operation with the loss of the J1939 data line signal as long as the J1587 data line is still operational. Code Setting Conditions: If either the Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU) or the Engine Electronic Control Unit (EECU) loses communication on the J1939 data line for more than one half second, code 6-4 will set and the Electronic Malfunction Lamp (EML) will turn on. The fault will become inactive if communication resumes for at least on half second. When code 6-4 is active, engine speed will default to 900 RPM. If communication is lost on both the J1587 and J1939 data lines the engine will not run. Fault code 6-4 will set for some mismatches of VECU and EECU software levels. Blink code 6-4 will also set while the VECU is in the programming mode for Customer Data, Fleet Data, or Mack Data. This code setting condition is normal and the code will become inactive after the ignition key is cycled. Fault code 6-4 may log, without illuminating the Electronic Malfunction Lamp (EML), on vehicles equipped with Eaton/Bosch ABS/ATC module # 7MN54M2. This nuisance code will not affect the performance of the vehicle. When a vehicle equipped with this ABS/ATC module is being diagnosed for an inactive code 6-4, contact Mack Trucks Service Engineering. Additional Symptoms:If communication is lost on just the J1939 line, the engine will only run at 900 RPM, no throttle response above 900 RPM

Ouch. From May 11, 2015, through March 8, 2016, Volvo built 18,689 model year 2016-2017 Volvo VNL, VNX and VNMs and Mack brand 2016-2017 Titans without a roll pin on the steering shafts, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. If the roll pin is missing, the lower steering shaft may disconnect from the junction block. Nice. And as if that’s not enough, the bolt connecting the upper steering shaft to the lower steering shaft also may not have been tightened. Both scenarios of course result in a complete loss of steering. The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) thinks around 19 steering shafts provided to Volvo may not have had the roll pin installed, but they really have no idea. This is what happens when you care more about profitability that the actual product you’re building, pushing suppliers too far for cheap pricing and most likely sourcing from developing countries. The defect is so significant that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is urging owners to take affected vehicles out of service as soon as possible or face possible penalties, including being placed out of service. In an “urgent inspection bulletin,” FMCSA noted that driving an affected truck could be considered a violation of FMCSA safety regulation 49 C.F.R. §396.7, which prohibits operation of a vehicle in a condition likely to cause an accident or a breakdown. Motor carriers that violate applicable regulations may face enforcement action including, but not limited to, civil penalties and a finding that the defect constitutes an out-of-service condition. http://www.landlinemag.com/Story.aspx?StoryID=30817 https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/newsroom/urgent-inspection-bulletin-safety-recall-issued-volvo-trucks http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/acms/cs/jaxrs/download/doc/UCM499790/RCLRPT-16V097-9654.PDF

Samsung does a lot of hauling items in Argentina and operates a large fleet of big rigs within the country. Argentina has a high incidence of traffic fatalities, according to Samsung a person dies in a traffic accident every hour within the country. Of those traffic accident fatalities, 80% of them happen on roads and the majority of those on road accidents are from people trying to pass. Anyone who has ever driven a vehicle or ridden in one when the vehicle is trying to pass a big rig knows that it can be impossible to tell if another vehicle is oncoming until you begin a passing maneuver. The odds of an accident occurring are even higher when you take into account the hundreds of one lane roads in the country where there is no margin of error. To help reduce the number of traffic accidents that involve big rigs, Samsung has installed some very cool technology on its fleet of trucks and dubbed the fleet "The Safety Truck." Samsung's trucks have wireless cameras on the front bumper. Those cameras stream images from the front of the truck to screens that are mounted on the rear doors of the truck. The image makes it much easier to tell when a car is oncoming. The cameras even have a night vision mode that allows drivers behind to see in the dark.
