  1. Actually makes me glad for 3 things 1) all my equipment but a car and pick up are pre 1990. 2) I'm old enough and have enough income to retire comfortable. .No thanks to 40 plus years in the union,3) I have enough service related issues from wounds, Agent Orange and MEK that I'm on borrowed time for the last 5 years.
  2. Check it against this one for the 6/12 volt gassers. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/MusicVid/b60_gas_diagram.pdf
  3. No the EPA is doing what Obama wants Congress is doing the same. This is to be his great legacy after all.
  4. Most of what I see in NYC are bottom feeders with Oh'Bama buttons on their shirt.
  5. If it was in my collection, it would be at the curb with my mail box on it instead of my Cat crawler! Paul
  6. The jist of the UN Treaty is to lower temps and pollution levels to pre industrial age temps plus 2 degrees. The other thing is the UN program for "Zero Pollution, Zero Poverty". The polluting countries (U.S.A. , Canada The E.U and Russia) will pay into a fund for the development of jobs and education poor countries in Africa, Asia and South America. A prime example is China put 5 times more pollution out than the USA abut is considered by the UN Koyoto Agreement a developing nation, so it is on the receiving end of the UN monies. Bottom line is the developed nations will lower their economies down to 3rd world status so we are all equal, and WE get to pay for it. . . Remember according to John Kerry and Al Gore, the sea has risen so high from Global Warming that fish are swimming in the streets of Miami and NYC.
  7. Now that Obama and Kerry have effectively killed Keystone and are going to Paris to sign the UN Global Warming treaty (says that's what all Americans want him to do) things will only get worse. Not only will we deal with the EPA but now UN regulations also. Paul
  8. Two separate companies according to this thread from the ATHS about the 5th post down, Similar axles / hub design as the Elwood conversions that International and Case used on tractors. Paul http://forums.aths.org/141474/american-coleman-front-axle
  9. Only Daryl Starbird and Bill Hines are left of the originals
  10. Howe Coleman was built in troy N.y until the very late 80's. I understand American Coleman was a Colorado based company that did their units until the late 70's. There axles and parts are some what similar and both used the "moon"style cover. I think since the truck was an oil field unit and was moe than likely done in Colorado probably when tge Quikway was cobbled together for it.
  11. Almost every AMT model car kit had customizing tips from him also. Paul
  12. Geez! He was always there from the 50's til now. Like him or not him and Sam Barris were big influences on the car scene. Paul http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2015/11/06/george-barris-self-proclaimed-king-of-the-customizers-dies-at-age-89/?refer=news

  14. I was told it's a Quikway loader. Oil field use I believe since it's in Oklahoma.
  15. Where did you set the switch at 10 or 30%?
  16. Just curious, what is used make all the electricity needed? What percentage is "green" ? How much pollution is going to be created by the power generations systems?
  17. 18. Obama / Rahm machine?
  19. Kraft Heinz Co. announced the layoffs of 2,600 employees and the closing of seven plants in an effort to increase the profitability at the mammoth food-beverage company. The Heinz plant in LeHigh Vally Pa. will be closed with 12 to 24 months. Interesting is their corporate offices are moving to Chicago. Emanuel Rahm states it is because of Chicago's modern transportation system and diverse highly skilled work force. http://www.upi.com/Business_News/2015/11/05/Kraft-Heinz-announces-2600-layoffs-7-plant-closings/3311446738293/
