  1. From the November 15, 1919 Commercial Car Journal pages 19 and 20 Elias Lyman Coal Company in Burlington Vermont bought four AB2 ton MACKs 1918. One with 36 x 6 pneumatics on front and 40 x 8 on the rears. The next three had 37 x 5 pneumatics on front and 38 x 7 on rears. They were equiped with Good Year All-Weather Cords installed new from the MACK Factory. https://books.google.com/books?id=lyEjAQAAMAAJ&pg=RA2-PA19&lpg=RA2-PA19&dq=first+mack+truck+with+pneumatic+tires&source=bl&ots=f_V7yG9DmU&sig=8DkJtzxLAxleOO1H1MZsqgfL_-8&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CEEQ6AEwCWoVChMIoaeI9eWxyAIVARw-Ch3N4w4t#v=onepage&q=first%20mack%20truck%20with%20pneumatic%20tires&f=false
  2. Excellent idea! I felt once you start modifying steering geometry, it can either fix the problem or go bad really quick. I'm always careful on any brake or steering modifcations even on my hot rods. Way too much at stake. Paul
  3. There is an E-9 Puller on here running a twin compound set up. But the fuel management is way different for a street driven truck. I would look into a Garrett Variable Vane Turbo Diesel as a possible alternative the the compound set up. Does basically the same thing as a compound turbo in a single unit. Might be better and simpler in the long run. Less plumbing and no real heavy injection mods. Paul
  4. These are Dead Sea Works Israeli Macks.. Nice required mods to the headlight location. Paul clicky picky
  5. Could be as simple as a bad ground to the light or buzzer. Paul
  6. I understand how the smaller turbo spools up and makes boost until the exhaust pressure come up enough to have the larger turbo make the power. They take out the low rpm lag. Fabricating the plumbing fabrication is intense. What happens with the fuel delivery with the added low speed boost? I know it works fine with a gas engines. You can use a laptop to reprogram ECM's fuel curve. Question is what system its there for the diesel? The system for the 6.7 Dodge-Cummins has a piggy back controller and a Fast Tune port for your laptop. Think doing a MACK, Cummins or other is un charted territory.

    WTF?

I used to ship a lot of small parts and trim out UPS until they started to hit me with Fuel Surcharges, Carbon Tax surcharge and a different fee for business or residential delivery. I use the USPS Click and Ship and even get the USPS to pick the package up from me for no charge. Big Brown is only a turd to me. Paul

Fits! SEMA sent me an Alert on the EPA study for emission laws for "competition vehicles". Want to off set the Climate Impact? Tell the HNIC and his tribe to stop going all over the world for weekend vacations. Pleasant bunch aren't they . . .
