  3. Ditto! Can't go wrong with it, worse came to worse you can re power it or rebuild it.
  4. See if a company like Vintage Air has something close. Similar type actuators are / were used in Auto HVAC systems.
  5. Look for a loose ground if all the connectors are tight. It's probly the most likely cause
  6. It was for sale on an on line auction a year or two ago, run down a bit but still extremely nice. Wish I could have had space for it than. Paul
  7. How do the power bands compare? Paul
  8. I've seen some older lumber / steel haulers Internationals with the same door handles. I think it's most likely to save them from getting in the way or the driver from getting snagged on them. Paul
  9. Prefect steering wheel too. Paul
  10. With the Mechanic doing it at night it still could be 2 days. pull it at night, machine shop in the day and install 2nd night. They seem to be taking advantage of him IMO. Paul

    Syria

Any one hear Obama's off the cuff remark on POLSAT "that Russian involvement could trigger a war in Syria and terrorist attacks world wide." Don't we have that now?
  13. Any thing after 1939 is too new for my taste.
  14. Learn something every day!
  15. Black moss mold?
  16. Put the blame for temp workers where it belongs, Obama care, no more no less. Temps fall into the black ACA hole. As temps, the company using them does not pay health care and the agency that they contact to for jobs is exempt, because the temps are considered independent contractors. In fact the company using temps pays the temp agency per worker and the agency determines the hourly wage and pays the temps. The only ones to benefit in the long run will bbe the union. The first run in with the UAW will sent the plants out of the US for survival.
  17. Had a Ford / Centurian F-350 four by for towing my trailer and race car. traded it in for a used Suburban 3/4 ton 454 automatic with 11,000 horse trailer package. Ran rings around the Ford.
  18. Wallpaper hanger by trade??
  19. 1966 was the first year of production for it too.
  20. See a ton of uses for that jack. Paul
  21. I do too. The F series is an improved GM design and IMO is Bullet proof. People seem to think the SBC conversion is an improvement. Same as swaps we did on the CJ2 / CJ3's swapping in the FORD 2300 fours. Paul
  22. All smoke and mirrors. Wonder what Obama and Bohner have planned for him.
  23. Most appear to have residual fire and smoke damage too. Looks like the damage when Tyrone Malone's shop burned, all soot damage.
  24. I've seen a few with the single rails. One was sold at auction early this year . It's been in different areas for sale for about a year. Hope it is not the same truck.. 1966 DM607 dump on Purple Wave.
