  1. I have a puller. loosen the nut but don't remove it. Put a bit of tension on the stud and give the knuckle a rap. Usually pops off. You can do the same with the pickle fork. hit it into the joint to put tension on it and give the pitman arm a rap on the end. 99% it will pop. The stress from the pickle fork is generally on the pitman arm and the socket on the drag link. Both are drop forged and heat treated.
  2. Watt's. Newark, Plilly, East L.A., South Bronx, New Orleans, Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Ferguson and DC. . . .50 years of us picking up the pieces and giving in. I for one am sick and tired of it! Cheaper to move the businesses out, create a DMZ to cut them off and let them live in the mess they made. Want to act like savages? Live like savages.
  3. Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. In 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported over a million Mexican nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback' so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them! http://www.csmonitor.com/2006/0706/p09s01-coop.html Guess they want the American Citizens to be like the Joad's and beg the illegals for work!.
  4. Do it with the clutch disengaged so you can get the surfaces. Good Luck with it post how it comes out. Paul

  6. Add 2 more Old Brookville PD on 107 and Northern Blvd and Old Westbury PD on the LIE exit 39 Glen Cove Road.
  7. I hear you! I'm actually surprised when it doesn't happen.
  8. I get the ones that are behind me, pass me, cut back in and immediately get off the exit right in front of me. The rest of your video's are a calm day in the NY metro area.
  9. Generally once the clutch has oil contamination it's toast. Slipping generates heat and can cause problems with flywheel and pressure plate surfaces. You can remove it and "try" to cook it out with a torch (rarely really works more than 50% of the time), clean and scuff the flywheel and pressure plate. I'd fix the leak(s) rebuild the clutch assembly, check the rear seal on G.P. and start fresh. Less trouble in the long run and less labor in the end. Paul
  10. Not in NY! Cuomo will kiss his ass and give him a jail house degree, internet, 100% health care and be sure not to violate any of his rights. The old people should be treated a 1/10 as well. shoot the M.Fer "trying to escape"
  11. At the 3rd stop I asked the inspector, "since I just went through 2 DOT checks in the past 12 miles wouldn't it save time if you all just lined up at one place and look the truck over one after the other?" He asked if I was being smart. (about 30 years my junior) Told him if I was smart I would retire or have picked a different career.
  12. Here is their current auctions.. http://www.crgauction.com/auctions/currentauctions.php
  13. Remington Firearms has decided they wanted to make their way into the fray concerning Hillary’s emails. It was a bold move but it provided more than satisfying results. Just a few weeks ago at a presss conference Hillary was asked if she had wiped the server Stooping to smart-alecky retorts rather than straight forward answers Mrs. Clinton said “What, with a cloth or something?” No Mrs. Clinton… Remington decided to have a little bit of fun with the remark and tweeted a photo of their gun cleaning wipes . The caption read “Works on firearms, not email servers. In stores now. #clean #fun.”

  23. DOT in NY is probably the worst. Had 4 DOT inspections by 4 different agencies on a 46 mile stretch of the Long Island Expressway. Suffolk Police Motor Carrier unit, Suffolk Sheriffs Motor Carrier unit, NYSDOT and Nassau County Police. An hour trip took me 5 hours for absolutely no reason but to generate money.
