  1. They may be metric ,worse comes to worst, they are available from Thompkins Industries in Charlotte N.C. but Granger, Tractor Supply or maybe Home Depot should have them. Also a foreign auto parts store or Japanese Motorcycle shop. Paul
  2. He wants Citizenship, random drug testing and 20 hours of work or volunteering a week. Screw up and no assistance ever. He also wants SNAP for health foods no soda, junk food or such. Paul
  3. Go to the body supply store and get SEM #39377 two part epoxy seam sealer. Only disadvantage is the 15 minute working time, permanent if you follow the instructions and stays flexible and is paintable. I use acid brushes to apply it. An other choice I've had good luck with is Dynatron Brushable seam sealer #552 as long as you apply it wet edge and get it smooth the first time you will like it better probably. No luck with the 3M seam sealer, it cracks and flakes with it's new EPA formula. Paul
  4. One way or the other I'll save it, as a fire rig that is no longer an option. I'm looking into a complete functioning 1949 FWD ex U.S. Forestry rig. 44,000 miles, new clutch, brakes and tires 1750 GPM pump used for an RV park - fair grounds, but I need to buy the FWD, a B-61 six wheeler and a B-75 ten wheeler tag set up. All or none as package deal. The 3 will fit on my trailer with some creative "stacking"
  5. If it is a compression fitting with the nut and collar you can get them at the local auto parts store in Brass nut and Brass collar or Brass nut and Nylon collar.
  6. CEO's CFO's and other upper Management make big dollars on the sales of those companies. All about the $$$. On the Batteries, I believe the last count was 98% of all the batteries used in the U.S. are Chinese made. Paul
  7. 6 Cylinder AC MACK about 1929 Dynamo for L.A. power Plant 1927 Transformer unit L.A. Power plant 1927
  8. Gaziantep, Turkey (CNN)This is what a Syrian rebel looks like after nearly $1 million of training and equipment provided by the United States. Pro-U.S. -- and fiercely anti-Assad regime -- fighter Abu Iskander is one of just 54 moderate rebels painstakingly vetted, expensively trained and equipped with fancy new weapons -- at a cost of $41 million.
  9. 1928 stolen from e-bay a few years ago . Rear springs are almost bottomed out.
  10. Looking at this B for sale with parts truck (ex oil field unit),never saw this type of set up for a tag. Anybody have ideas? Almost looks like a trailer unit with Quarter Elliptic springs.
  11. This was on the news this morning on the edge of Gladys. Led by Bee Sharp and Aunt Bee
  12. I'll take your word on there being a turbo under all the Gizmos. Tell them you need a Superliner so you can get your job done One of the techs at Gabrielli MACK told me he thought my AC MACKS were complicated and must be hard to work on, no computer to tell you whats wrong I guess. I told him I can fix the AC on the side of the road with a stick, a rock and duct tape.
  13. Soak it in diesel. Put it in a can, cover it with diesel and leave it a week or so before trying to move it. You may need to do it a few times. Paul
  14. They started a manufacturing company too. Making logging trailers. Smart to invest the tv monies in businesses
  15. Than you went "green" the president would be proud.....
  16. First examples should be Nancy Pelosi and Colin Powell. They both public stated they hire all the illegals they can because they work hard and for little money. As for the media saying there is no precedent to deport them well three Presidents have done it before. Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback' so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them! Go Donald!
  17. The sub ran aground near Scapa Flow and was scuttled. The British raised it took its technology and it went on to NYC to raise money for the war effort. It was later sunk as a break water for a cross Long Island Sound ferry from Oyster Bay N.Y. to Stanford Conn. Paul
  18. With most all "old school" technology... No traction control, no competition mode for the power pack Hellcat ran a legit 10.85 seconds at 126.18 mph on street-legal drag radials, the 55 Gasser ran a 10.52 seconds at 129.26 mph on Coker Pie Crust slicks.
  19. Gutted of engines, electric motors, batteries, fuel, general equipment and weapons probably around 175,000 pounds on 3 trailers so about 58,000 pounds per trailer. In a clear photo the primary drive sprocket looks to be about 11 tooth, probably a drive ratio of about 8 to 1 all with 50 H.P. Paul
  20. There was nothing on the local news here, but BBC ran about 5 minutes of video on the fires. Looks like hell on earth. Paul
  21. German U boat NYC 1918 on 3 trailers 1929 AC and Bucyrus
