Unarmed white teen killed by police. Family asks: Where is the outrage?

Rev Al and Obama both mentioned a "promising life cut short and promised an investigation. . . azzes all http://www.wsj.com/articles/firefighter-shot-responding-to-long-island-incident-1439554041 -
Here a little known fact. Dr. Ruth Westheimer joined the Haganah in Jerusalem in 1947. Because of her diminutive height of 4 ft 7 in she was trained as a scout and sniper, with 14 confirmed kills. Westheimer was seriously wounded in action by an exploding shell during the Israeli War of Independence in 1948, and it was several months before she was able to walk again.

Clinton had his hand in the canal defense also. The 1977 Carter-Torrijos treaty gives the United States the right to defend the Panama Canal militarily until the U.S. deemed it unnessary. The Clinton administrations refusal to renew the Panama Canal Zone Security Agreement is allowing circumstances to develop in which U.S. defense of the waterway will be impossible without confronting the Chinese. -
Parts are all around for it, but this was all original from the beginning less the power pack. All the related brackets, hangers and mounts were removed with a torch and cut off saw. Also with all the fire fighting equipment gone off it, to me is a donor truck for a better NO. Basically I'll get a pair of cut frame rails, 3 cross members and sheet metal if they don.t come up with the parts they cut off it, from was originally a complete truck with the wrong power pack.

It no longer fits my plans for it to be a functional brush truck on my land in Virginia, but it needs to be saved from were it is now. Worse comes to worse I'll put it in a container and store it. Paul

The main thing they did was cut the rears ,springs and mounts off. They were going to try to make is a 6 wheeler copying some TV build up. Those parts and the front diff are irreplaceable. Unless I take a trip to Moscow and "find" a set

"People should and do trust me" - Hillary Clinton

She will not quit, the Media will spin every thing into her favor as a "poor woman being persecuted for trying to compete in the male dominated political arena", a wife who stood with a cheating husband to "save the country from scandal". Paul -
I gave them a deposit on the condition that all the parts and pieces that they cut off, are found and put with the carcass in no longer than 2 weeks. The truck when it was in Iowa was powered by a 1970 427 Chevy Truck engine with a Turbo 400 and N.P. transfer case. I could deal with that. Had a 750 gallon tank and a pony powered pump on back. A full brush bar and skid plates. The drive train was all original 1940's OEM units less the power pack. It sits now with the tank, pump drive train and rears removed. there is a pair of 90's Ford F-750 (?) 4x4 rears and springs for it, a Cummins Diesel with trans and transfer case from a 2009 Dodge 3500. All that makes it an MACK NO is the tin work with out all the assemblies they removed.

Who do you think pays for all the mistakes. . The poor saps that pay taxes. The EPA and other alphabet agencies are even exempt from the public suing them for damages and costs. Mean while I got a dab of grease on a Zerk and I get an out of service and a fine.

With rust and the age of the rims, I would advise extreme caution. One memeber had the rim on his F model come apart from rust where water collected from it sitting. He was lucky to be "only" cut and bruised, could have lost a limb or his life quite easily. air them down when you remove them and I personally would look the rims and lock rings over very closely for any damage or deterioration. They are a vane type rotary shock. They require special tools and a fixture so you do not damage the housing, shaft or shoot the high tension spring through any body. The biggest problems are they were originally filled with either Glycerin or Mineral oil. both jell after years. Remove fill plug and drain what you can, light heating will allow the oils to flow some. Fill with Hydraulic Jack oil work the lever back and forth and drain the oil. Do that a few times and refill with the filler plug in the same position as when it is mounted. Fill to bottom of hole NOT ABOVE IT. THe Rotary unit needs that air space for expansion. Over fill it and the seals will blow and it will leak oil badly. Regular oils (Engine and Fork oils) react with the Glycerin and Mineral oils and wlll actually curdle them like FETA Cheese. The shocks are than basicly destroyed. Paul

Internally on the Delco-Lovejoy they only go together one way or not at all. The arm is incorrect. Some are on with a pinch bolt, some are splined with a nut and can be reindexed and some are welded. The welded ones you can carefully grind the weld, reindex and reweld. The other option is to center the arm and lengthen the shock link. On the Macks they only move about 25mm (1 inch) each way never full travel. Looked through my Shock and Shock Link Catalogs sheets. Your MACK used Hydraulic Houdaille Lever Shocks in the time period. These are the same less the shock link. Click pic

Similar to them along with the DuBonnet and British Armstrong lever shocks. The Delco-Lovejoys use an different less "strong spring" and use a simpler valve system. Once you clean and make them functional and follow the maintenance schedule (3500 miles) you will have not problems. The Delco-Lovejoys on my 1941 Chevy are 74 years old. A flush and new wipe seals and the are like new for another 70 years. The difference that nobody sees between tube and lever shocks was two fold. 1) The cost to make Lever Action Shocks was triple with the castings and machine work, than the cost to make Tube shocks. Auto makers increase their profit margin with cheaper to make part. 2) Preform the maintenance on lever shocks they last for ever but people and mechanics rarely or never did. Tubes are a money maker, they wear out and need to be replaces often. Make money for the shock maker, mechanic and parts store/dealer.

Obligation to the Oath of Enlistment expires but a citizens right to expect the Constitution to be the law of the land does not. Every American should feel honored stand up for those documents. The Government has been side stepping the Constitution for decades but not the way it has since 9/11. When politicians take an Oath of Office to obey and defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic and than side step it, plain ignore it or only apply it to select groups when it benefits them, it is time to rein them in. In an ideal world, every citizen would take offence and act in a proper manner to halt it, but sadly any person or group the wants Constitutional Law followed is an Anti Government Radical or Kook. Respect, Patriotism and a Knowledge of what our founding principles are is what this nation was built on. It does not come with a uniform and oath. It comes from the heart and the love of God and Country and lastly knowledge. The general public through the Media accepts this latest idea from General Wesley Clark Ret. to protect the American Government,. You decide Constitutional or not? MSNBC transcript Former General Wesley Clark during a MSNBC interview stated in no uncertain terms about people who speak out or do not support all government actions should expect. “If these people are radicalized and don’t support the United States, and they’re disloyal to the United States, as a matter of principle that’s fine, that’s their right. It’s our right and our obligation to segregate them from the normal community for the duration of the conflict.” What General Clark is advocating in no uncertain terms is that the U.S. rewrite its laws to allow for the internment of Americans who the government feels have engaged in thought crime. Mind you, laws on the books are sufficiently strong to punish people engaged in actual criminal behavior. Clark is suggests forcibly separating people based on their political views.
