  1. Luck you all I ever got stung by was one of these.
  2. Out here on the North Fork of Long Island in the fall we get all kinds of drunken birds, deer, squirrels and other creatures. They eat the ground fall grapes, apples and peaches. They ferment when the rot. Nothing funnier than a drunk Possum! Pogo he ain't! Paul
  3. Welcome! Nice looking B and collection of miners goodies, I agree with the grass.
  4. A bolt and Nyloc nut and 2 washers in lieu of a shifter housing.
  5. Class 6 and 8 trucks in that period were build with greater tolerances than the Mercedes and vehicles now. Also truck with road conditions and loads have a greater tolerance of wear. I would think after a 700 KM tow and how ever many Kilometers it was driven before and the lack of odd tire wear, I'd not worry about it to much.
  6. Hillary also believes that meaningful dialog and jobs are what the Iranians and ISIS want from us. Both are treacherous in my eyes. People also forget or don't know the the Soviet Union started on Shicklgrubers side in the beginning.
  7. There were three at Hemming Muscle Palooza last year. Two made a few passes @11:01 and 10:99 The third was a Micky Thompson / Tasca built 1 of 1 on display. With Micky Thompson designed and cast Hemi heads on it.
  8. Nice pics! Sure like those Mercury Sleepers! Paul
  9. I wondered that too. More around now then Ford made though. Paul
  10. Check the pin, they fatigue with age and fail. No often but they do fail.
  11. Have you drained the moisture from the tanks?
  12. Whitley's Bleche- White will stain or remove the silk screen logo. CitraSolve may affect the silk screen logo since the "ink" is petroleum based. I personally would try plain old car wash soap and a scrub brush. Paul
  13. Only one stupid enough able to catch the errant red hot rivet?
  14. The man tossing hot rivets and the men catching them are damn amazing! Paul
  15. The same man who says the economy is in trouble because there aren't enough people of "color" and minority engineers....
  16. Very interesting, much insight to Stalin's plans. I always felt Stalin's death was a blessing to the West in the long run. Patton seemed to be the only one who saw the threat of the post WWII Soviet Union. Paul
  17. Dynamic has his new truck ready.
  18. Today August 6 the U.S. dropped the first of 2 Atomic bombs on Japan. Both sides still agree that as tragic it was, the end result was the elimination of the potential of 1 million or more casualties on both sides was spared from happening along with a long projected battle for the mainland. A pretty blond spokeswoman mentioned that if the United States and Japan had a treaty like President Obama is going to have with Iran the bombs would never have been used,, (???) WTF does any one on the staff know history?
  19. So undercover agents, civilian dress, probably with a beard or unshaven, approaching the car with a drawn weapon and most likely yelling orders. I'm would give odds the kid was scared and or panicked as most people would..
  20. People also fail to realize that any computer system can be hacked and any security program and it's updates can be defeated.
  21. With the newest drive by wire systems hackers have taken over the cruise control on some vehicles, up and down shifted the trans and controlled entry and climate controls. The new 2016 Corvette ZO7-R option with the 650 h.p.and Magnetic computer controlled suspension also has adaptable electronic steer by wire. The system senses road conditions from suspension load, traction, G force and speed and will compensate if the driver is overwhelmed by his inability to drive the car. A hackers dream come true...
  22. Most sadly could care less about history and I seriously doubt they have the patience to read something that long. Paul
  23. I would still find a spot for a filter. It'll save you dollars and grief in the long run.
