With the required Ethanol E-10 in NYS my mileage dropped of 30%. So require a MPG increase and require Ethanol or Bio Diesel so mileage goes down. Mandate smaller trucks to get better MPG so you have to make 2 trips to move what a current truck can. . . Sounds like a well thought out plan to me.

The Cab was replaced with one that Meehan sold or donated when it was in Elizabeth N.J. The power unit less the cab is Evel's original. The trailer is Evel's original unit also. I think it's good that Harley Davidson's Willie G, H.D Corporate and MACK jumped on board to do the unit. Paul

The Mack FS cabover, complete with red, white and blue interior to match Knievel Americana theme, as well as a custom-built dressing room that sits on the trucks frame rails, was discovered in a yard in Clearwater, Florida, before being brought to Topeka for restoration. The Mack Pinnacle 70-inch high-rise sleeper will transport the Mack FS model as the exhibit makes its way to various stops across the country. The Pinnacle model is well-suited for the task, easily handling the rigors of the road, while offering the power and performance expected of a Mack. Featuring the Mack MP8 505C engine with 505 horsepower and 1,760 lb.-ft. torque and the mDRIVE automated manual transmission, the Pinnacle model is designed for durable over-the-road hauling. The Pinnacle also is equipped with the Mack Twin Y Air Suspension, the trucking industrys first suspension to utilize an innovative Y-shaped high-strength steel design. The Twin Ys design means the load on the suspension is entirely on the air ride and not on the pivot bushing, delivering unmatched comfort, handling and fuel efficiency for highway customers. Along with the Mack FS model, the traveling exhibit features Knievels leathers, motorcycles, helmets, medical X-rays, casts and thousands of other items, which will be hauled by the Mack Pinnacle DayCab, featuring a Mack MP8 engine with 415 horsepower and up to 1,700 lb.-ft. of torque. The dimensions of Obama’s craven surrender to Iran are becoming more and more clear. Yesterday, the administration circulated a draft UN Security Council resolution to remove UN sanctions from Iran. Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) 45%‘s cute little committee isn’t going to finish it’s ‘debate’ until mid-September. The fact that there will be no UN sanctions in place by then calls into question exactly what purpose this particular iteration of Failure Theater is accomplishing other than demonstrating the Senate’s irrelevance on foreign policy. The agreement also bars US inspectors from participating in IAEA inspections: "U.S. and Iranian officials confirmed Thursday that no American nuclear inspectors will be permitted to enter the country’s contested nuclear site under the parameters of a deal reached with world powers this week, according to multiple statements by American and Iranian officials." Became friends in basic and were in the 25th Airborne together, made it through Operation Fishhook. Got discharged a week apart. Managed to stay in touch all these years. Met at least every 3 or 4 years, talked on the phone and the computer a lot. He was a Cat skinner and I contacted Schaffer Logging across from his house where he worked most his life. I got lot of answers and apparently they both died in their sleep from smoke inhalation. I guess smoke inhalation is better than being burned alive.to be blunt.
