Fire truck wise it's a shell with some parts left. Most of the brass fittings, controls and valves are gone. Cab looks stripped of heater, defroster parts and other accessories. Who knows what gone from under the hood, would bet the prime scrap metal is gone. $ 3 grand for the nose if he adds in the rest the truck for gratis.

People may not like the man but I found him gracious. I was there for 3 days in March. He opened the place to me, gave me a man to help me take measurements and photos of the Christe AC. Second day he had the area set up so I could do 1 to 1 scans of certain parts. Day 3 was a tour and B.S. session on AC's and Christe. I could not have gotten better treatment. People consider him arrogant, well maybe he is, maybe he isn't. Maybe it is how you act towards him, don't know. He treated me as an equal. He has saved a lot of trucks and equipment and IMO for that he deserves kudos.

The war will come sooner than later with Irans new found power, China, Central America and the U.S. military give aways. Sadly or maybe a blessing in the end, there will be attacks and battles fought on U.S. mainland. From the open borders, the 20 million plus illegals and the Middle Easterners and Asia. Wouldn't look bad as a one piece on the current Granite cab IMO. I would think Volvo Corporate has less influence with MACK in OZ then here in North America ? Good question! I wonder too. Most of the info I have on the B-85 show 5 speed and a few with Allison automatics but I'm sure places like the Pine Barrens of Long Island or New jersey and around Cape Cod could have gotten them. I would think you could get what ever specs your department needed. Yaphanks 1964 B pumper has a 5 and 2 in it.
