Take out the good glass, tell the glass shop to make a copy and match the tint or clarity on it. -

SHARE ON FACEBOOK SHARE ON TWITTER I’m offended that everyone is offended by something. by Jordan M. Thompson on Facebook I’m offended that because I’m a white male, people automatically classify me as privileged, regardless of knowing where I’ve come from or what I’ve been through. I’m offended that our first amendment has turned into freedom of speech [just as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings]. I’m offended that people assume I’m racist because I believe in economic development by way of Capitalism and a free-market economy. I’m offended that people who are too afraid to ask for food stamps, disability, or unemployment (because they don’t want a handout) are probably the one’s who could use it most, yet the majority of recipients who do in fact recieve handouts, abuse their “privilege” and continue to make frivolous purchases. I’m offended that people care more about taking down an outdated confederate flag but don’t get riled up when their American flag is being burned in the street. I’m offended that people care more about blocking homosexuals from getting married than fixing their own, broken and unstable, heterosexual marriages. I’m offended that fast food workers get paid more than my soldiers yet still expect to get paid more than Nurses. I’m offended by people who claim how offended they are, while they do nothing but gripe about it on their phones or laptops, when they could be writing or calling their respective representatives to actually get something accomplished. I’m offended by the lack of initiative, hard work, and tenacity in this country. I’m offended by complainers who pity themselves and just want to take as much as they can. I’m offended by those who have in fact “made it” yet are too rude to give back to the communities in which they’ve come from. I’m offended by people who vote for a person based on the party they represent, the race or gender, age or a religion of a candidate… instead of how the candidate proposes to address each issue, respectively. I’m offended by people who aren’t open minded and think they’re always right, no matter what. I’m offended by people who don’t listen and read and legitimately try to understand unfamiliar concepts before brushing them off. I’m offended of what our country has become. I don’t claim to know solutions to these issues… eventually maybe we will. I just pray that we can one day change our country for the better. And hope that our offenses can turn into progress. 30.5K 351 17 27 19

It doesn't need to be that way, but politicians are no longer for the people and the law. The follow party lines for the power and money. Most Public Schools have for the past 30 years or so have taught children the government knows whats best for them. Lawyers sue over things as simple as a cut finger, so laws are passed to save you from yourself. Parents would rather the government and schools raise and take care of their children. Maine's public assistance program went from 250,000 people to a few hundred. How? You receive assistance and you are able to function, you must work a minimum of 20 hours a week paid or volunteer and pass random drug testing. Get busted for drugs or alcohol? benefits are gone. . forever. And yes the Federal Government, the ACLU are suing Maine for denying peoples "god given right" to get help.. . GOD GIVEN RIGHT?

Cut the life time benefits and perks. Cut the career politicians. Require service time. If you are going to send people into harms way, you damn well better know first hand what happens. Accountability for their choices, screw up you'll answer to the people. Give them the same benefits (social security, health care, etc) as the citizens. No PACs or giant war chests., give each a specific amount period!

Washington (CNN)Ben Carson says President Barack Obama is a psychopath. His comment came in an exchange between the neurosurgeon who's likely to mount a bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination and his chief adviser, Armstrong Williams, captured by a GQ reporter on the night of this year's State of the Union address. Williams had said Obama looked "elegant" that night. And Carson responded: "Like most psychopaths. That's why they're successful. That's the way they look. They all look great." Later in the exchange, Carson accused Obama of knowingly selling the American public "a lie." "He's trying to sell what he knows is not true!" Carson reportedly said. "He's sitting there saying, 'These Americans are so stupid I can tell them anything.'"It's the latest in a long string of controversial comments from Carson, who's touted himself as an outsider -- someone who isn't a career politician and doesn't carry himself as one. His blunt comments about Obama have been part of Carson's appeal to conservatives who have detested the President during his six-plus years in office. Carson has also compared Obama's signature health care law to "slavery".

Either with China and Japan over the Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea or with North and South Korea over Daecheong Island. Either one will pull in the U.S. for a confrontation with China . Wanted or not because of our M.D.A with Japan and South Korea. I fear it will be a slaughter since the White House has followed Stalins example and purged the experienced leadership from the top[ military positions. Cutting back personnel and"moth balling" , not replacing , updating or just plain scrapping major equipment (aircraft, armor and ships) The EPA has neutered our arms production facilities and raw materials. Bases now house "Immigrants" instead of troops. Almost total reliance on electronics on the battle field. China's DF-21-D ASBM Carrier killing missile that uses real time SATNAV for targeting adjustments. China and Russia's underground base construction programs will afford surrvivability for Submarine, Surface and Command. Control of the Canal will also play a major part against us. Do not expect Europe, NATO or the OAS to get in line to help. Infact I would fully expect Mexico's army of Cartels and gangs to attack here Bottom line we have been set up to be on the down side. Is the serial number on the tag 1015?

The President feels that if we have a fighter better or at least equal to other countries, they will be upset with us.

Here is a photo from the GM Parade of Progress about 1954 or 55 showing the construction equipment powered by the Jimmy.

For the mere cost of $85 million per F-35 you get what the White House called "teething problems with a few minor glitches" A 2015 Pentagon report found these issues: The Joint Program Office is re-categorizing or failing to count aircraft failures to try to boost maintainability and reliability statistics; Testing is continuing to reveal the need for more tests, but the majority of the fixes and for capability deficiencies being discovered are being deferred to later blocks rather than being resolved; The F-35 has a significant risk of fire due to extensive fuel tank vulnerability, lightning vulnerability and an OBIGGS system unable to sufficiently reduce fire-sustaining oxygen, despite redesigns; Wing drop concerns are still not resolved after six years, and may only be mitigated or solved at the expense of combat maneuverability and stealth; The June engine problems are seriously impeding or preventing the completion of key test points, including ensuring that the F-35B delivered to the Marine Corps for IOC meets critical safety requirements; no redesign, schedule, or cost estimate for a long-term fix has been defined yet, thereby further impeding g testing; Even in its third iteration, the F-35’s helmet continues to show high false-alarm rates and computer stability concerns, seriously reducing pilots’ situational awareness and endangering their lives in combat; The entire production number of Block 2B’s already limited to minimum combat capabilities, with fixes being deferred to later blocks, means that the Marine Corps’ FY2015 IOC squadron will be even less combat capable than originally planned; ALIS software failures continue to impede operation, mission planning, and maintenance of the F-35, forcing the Services to be overly reliant on contractors and “unacceptable workarounds”; Deficiencies in Block 2B software, and deferring up grades of those capabilities to later blocks, is undermining combat suitability for all three variants of the F-35; The program’s attempts to save money now by reducing requirements and test points and deferring crucial up grades of combat capabilities will result in costly retrofits and fixes later down the line, creating a future unaffordable bow wave that, based on F-22 experience, will add at least an additional $67 billion in acquisition costs. Low availability and reliability of the F-35 is driven by inherent design problems that are only becoming more obvious and difficult to fix. Current aircraft software is inadequate for even basic pilot training. Ejection seat may fail, causing pilot fatality. Several pilot-vehicle interface issues, including lack of feedback on touchscreen controls. The radar performs poorly, or not at all. Engine replacement takes an average of 52 hours, instead of the two hours specified. Maintenance tools do not work with out modifications. MACH 1.6 maximum speed it limited to a 150 mile burst or less than 4 seconds due to engine failure potential.

Under the current IRS tax codes manufactures, distributors and businesses pay federal taxes on older inventory either as bulk lots or individual items. This is the IRS law in part. Inventory Tax An inventory is necessary to clearly show income when the production, purchase, or sale of merchandise is an income-producing factor. If you must account for an inventory in your business, you must use an accrual method of accounting for your inventory stock, purchases and sales. To figure taxable income, you must value your inventory at the beginning and end of each tax year. To determine the value, you need an IRS approved method for identifying the items in your inventory and a method for valuing these items. The method you use must conform to generally accepted accounting principles for similar businesses and must clearly reflect income. Your inventory practices must be consistent from year to year. Items Generally Included in InventoryInclude the following items when accounting for your inventory. Merchandise or stock in trade Raw materials Work in process Finished products Supplies and components that are intended for saleContainers such as boxes, kegs, bottles, drums, pallets and cases, regardless of whether they are on hand or returnable, should be included in inventory if title has not passed to the buyer of the contents. For merchandise on hand at the beginning of the tax year, cost means the inventory price of the goodsFor merchandise purchased during the year, cost means the invoice price less appropriate discounts plus transportation or other charges incurred in acquiring the goods. It can include other costs that have to be capitalized under the uniform capitalization rulesFor merchandise produced during the year, cost means all direct and indirect costs that have to be capitalized under the uniform capitalization rulesA trade discount is a discount allowed regardless of when the payment is made. Generally, it is for volume or quantity purchases and the discount percentage is taxable as inventory. -
