  1. Orange because when your heating the I beam and the clamp slips you can see the tool through your dark goggles before it hits you.. ..
  2. Portland, Maine?
  3. 1940's, 50's and early 60's Pickups, light vans, straight axle cars from the 30's to late 40's and Twin I Beam Ford light Trucks to at least the 80's.
  4. Look like some BEAR Alignment tools for bending I beam axles.
  5. Unless they reintroduce the T series Scanias like the T-420 or the T-580
  6. Stupider the look, the more the people like it...sideways hats, pants 5 sizes to big and down at their knees, pajamas in public, donks, obamamama and my favorite is Pit Bikes on the L.I. Expressway, nothing better than 70 plus mph weaving through traffic wearing sandals and shorts. Organ donor expresses.
  7. Would not doubt Volkswagen class 8's come into our market and since VW owns Scania and MAN probably those also. VW is looking to be one of the top auto and truck makers world wide. The problem as I see for them in North America is they are all COE's, and are not the "norm" here like in Europe and Asia. Paul
  8. We had 2 bad wild fires out here in the Pine Barrens, small compared to what you have but just as scarey. Hope you come out O.K.
  9. Garret ran some also, six wheelers with short w.base.
  10. Same as ASE. When I got my Master Tech rating 40 years ago, it meant something. You were good at your job. There was very few ASE tech and it was your knowledge and skills that you used to pass the exams. Now, study the pre test booklets, watch the videos, practice the tests on line and get your rating. Just $$$$
  11. Few made. Off set was like a COE version of the U. I.H. said it was for the driver to see around other trucks. 18 days to sell my 300 Hurst Chrysler or one of my Stage III Max Wedges.... Damn I want one of them Conco's!!!
  12. Hows it work with the Saturn plastic body panels?
  13. From what I can see by removing the apad and installing the old style AC High Pressure switch and Fan Control Module, the ECM's "bad circuit" was by-passed. Their initial diagnosis was most likely correct Still, it does not justify how you were treated by the service department. Any customer should be helped at any cost. It's for good public relations
  14. That poor Winfall girl was there for hours trying to put oil in her car but couldn't. Only cap she found didn't say OIL it said L10. Probably still there. She shoulda gone fishin
  15. THis is a list of pretty much who supplies or does what for old MACKS. It's a place to start. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/MusicVid/partssupplierslisting.pdf
  16. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/18927-does-mack-plan-on-coming-out-with-a-glider-kit/ http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/8135-mack-glider-kits/
  17. Can that Mercedes do Hickory Smoke flavor on steaks?
  18. Still can't justify the miles but it's hard not to considering Vlad drove and had a ferry ride from Moscow to way into Siberia to bring home a DMM. kind of humbles you.
  19. Seen it here on the island countless times. Parents are upset not for what the kids did, but for the inconvenience it's causing them. Crocodile tears. Guarantee the "fathers" came home and after telling the kids don't worry about it, called the lawyers about the attractive nuisance you have. Kids are not taught right from wrong but caught and not caught. This was my families original, 40 thousand mile, never titled REO tater truck. It was clean and complete with no rust or damage. Two "adults" with deer licenses and their pre teen kids from the city shot it up because they were bored. Sheriff could do nothing but issue a ticket for discharging a weapon to close to the highway, told me that it was a civil matter and sue them because the fields were not "Posted". When I suggested he write me the same ticket after I put a few holes in their BMW, he suggested they should give me some money for the damages. Got Sh#t. Got a letter of intent from their lawyer about my Attractive Nuisance REO being the "root" cause of their actions. Cost more to fight them and there it sits. . . junk. For the "hunters" their kids got a lesson that do what you want, your lawyer can threaten, buy or bribe your way out of it. Hope you fair better. Paul
  20. Sorry to hear that. What did the parents have to say about it? Paul
  21. Hmmm. Extra $ at pumps or pay $12,000 to $15000 additional on the price of a new truck. If I was a company driver I could careless. I am, sadly, a frowned upon small owner operated business with 5 employees whom appears to interfere with the larger companies who want all the business. I, like many, will find it easier to fire the employees and retire. Now according to the June 18 2015 Senate hearings on Bio Diesel, Ethanol, LP and the EPA recommendations the public (tax payers) and vehicle owner and commercial vehicles need to pay a Federal Fuel Surcharge, a mere tentative 10.3% increase in Federal fuel tax and "more than likely" a mileage tax of "less than a penny or so per mile" . All this to create an infrastructure to make, store, ship and dispense these types of fuels mentioned above nation wide.
