  4. We are in India because of the issues with Pakistanis harboring Benladin and other of his people when they were out ally. Kind of what Turkey is doing now. There is a lot of things that either the public isn't aware of or just don't pay any mind to. An example is when the U.S.A. , Australia and the Arvin invaded Cambodia. Big fanfare on the news about it, lasted a week before coverage ended. Recall was issued after we got 60 miles in Nixon ended it because of Kent State. My unit was 1 1/2 miles from the first objective. Obama sent troops to fight in the Ivory Coast and to be "advisors" in Nigeria.
  5. I'm sure the Russians and Chinese will be more than happy to fill in for us there, after all we do have a mandate from the majority of our citizens to support the newest emigrants.
  6. double roof over the containers, that one above it easy 5 or 6 stories. Can't seem to be able to post any photos on BMT today.
  7. Notice it has headers on it?
  8. Same spot on my R except mine has a 90 degree adapter.
  9. I can't post the photo for some reason but my shop in Va is made up from 14 forty foot hi cube containers with ladder steel trusses. The containers are set up as separate parts and work areas and make all storage and work areas fire proof.
  10. Gee, I'm glad to know it's not only me! My barn on L.I. was 60 x 45 and was pretty full and not too organized. Moved everything to Virginia and organized alot as it was loaded in containers. Now my shop is 100 x 100 and not only dis organized but too small. I've got 5 full containers I brought down from Maine. I'm close to selling every truck, all the parts and tools.
  11. I believe thats what causes little capacitors to come into the world . . .
  12. On most systems if the fan can't power up when the AC is turned on the AC will not work either. Grounds , relays or ?
  13. Now that's how you get people to look at brand X! :)
  14. Forced me to go container hunting. these are the only photo of it in the 1980 81 Mack brochure.
  15. Federal regulations and guidelines for the Low Volume Vehicle Production Act passed by the NHTSA for production of 5000 or less has yet to be announced. It was passed in 2015 and is now 4 years without the regulations being finalized. The EPA and CARB requirements keep changing and the maximum production number keep changing (last numbers were 385 units) and now a lawsuit on whether larger trucks should be included. Four or five companies set to produce vehicles have filed bankruptcy or lost investors waiting for regulations to begin production. Not sense building any if they will be unusable / unsaleble until the regs are finalized and announced.
  16. Eliminates alot with that info. Does you diagram show the compressor circut tied in with powering the engine fan?
  17. One of the fuse /relay panels has an AC compressor relay that supplies power. Also the low pressure switch the prevents the compressor from kicking in with less than 50 PSI in the system so I would also put a set of gauges on and check the pressure in the system for starters.
  18. Try Raney's Truck Parts.
  19. They do right down to dash stampings
  20. https://www.truckspring.com/heavy-duty-truck-parts/brake-and-wheel-parts/air-tanks.aspx I've used them twice okay to deal with.
  21. 1980 Mack Construction unit catalog. The Dealer 1980 MACK Construction Truck Brochure has it on the cover along with a few other units.
  22. You're retired you should become the moderator with balls and clean up the site and return it to how you want it to be. Doing beats wishing for it. Maybe for starters eliminate Odds and Ends and Other Trucks which seem to be problems.
  23. I talked with them a while ago about the possibility of purchasing a cab or two. I've gotten a few call backs from them. First was to be patient as the ramp up, last was telling me they haven't forgot and they will have some available late 2019 early 2020. Seems at least to be some what serious about customer care. We'll see. The estimated cost for a pair of cabs is equal to repairing 2 of my 3 cabs.
  24. This what you want? It was in Hemming late last year.
  25. It's just a plain old Bluebird I.H. with a Superliner hood. I have another photo with the hood open. A big let down but I'd keep it if it was offered.
