  1. Pulling a vacuum (should be about 25+ inches) and letting it sit for 15 minutes under vacuum will also give a good check for any leaks. If the Vacuum drops go tighten everything again and check with a few drops on oil. Alot easier and cheaper to check under vacuum than a 134 leak.
  2. I have an R nose with those lights 1976 full size Oldsmobile. Got the nose from the NYC Police Rec Center in Tannersville about 10 years ago
  3. That's what I thought a ''Two Story Falcon''
  4. The Crescent Town cab is unusual never saw a "grill panel" like that.
  5. Peer in the tank for Schmegma clogging the pick up tube. Had some old fuel grow algae or some thing from sitting and running it disturbed it and floated in to the fuel pick up. Also had some micro bug build a home in the fuel cap vent so try it with them off.

Upping or going down on power requires a reflash on the ECM to run well, stick with your rated power.
  7. No the circuit is in the controllers and no easily bypassed. Pull the switch and use a Meter check power to the switch with it off and engaged. I am taking a leap of faith that the computer wire may be less the 12 volts probably around 5 volts . You may be able to run a new fused power line to the switch and bypass the ECU/ / VCU.
  8. The switch it is most likely run through the VCU or ECU and tied to a switch on the brakes. Maybe try it with the brake pedal slightly depressed?
  9. Welcome! Good helpful people here willing to share advice when needed. Paul
  10. Cluster fix-1.pdf Could be a simple deal of pulling the plugs cleaning with contact cleaner and a light coat of dielectric grease Also look for loose pins on cluster where plugs connect. other wise look at the pdf The pdf covers a known issue and it apparently goes up to 2006 or 07.
  11. Sell it on ebay as Faux N.Y. Dirty Snow. Someone will definitely buy it.
  12. At speed there's a good chance of valve damage minimum bent valves and possibly damaged pistuns
  13. How about a variable pump like Pete an KW run? The assist has a bypass circuit so the pressure and volume gets less as RPM - speed increases. You can only pass a specific amount of fluid through the lines, ports and spool. To increase volume you need to increase pressure to force extra fluid through, which than will cause cavitation and aerate the fluid and it become somewhat air bound and cause your twitchy feeling. The cavitation will be in the range of 30 mph and will get worse at higher speeds.
  14. Any automotive body and paint supplier can either get you factory mix or use the formula to mix if for you.
  15. Standard drivers cab but runs off highway flat fenders. Only reason for the swap is my AC powered one is a western light weight with aluminum chassis and components and full aluminum cab w/ nose. I want the correct cab on it is all.
  16. Post a photo or 2 it's easier to give you an idea.
  17. The burned motor home conversion I bought last fall is a DC102LT i bought to use that cab on my DC9964BSAC. The 9964 cab has dents but no rust outs but isn't the correct cab for the truck ,the DC102LT cab is. How soon do you need it?
  18. Hope you realize I'm being sarcastic

  20. Mopar had an orifice tube in the pressure line off the pump and like Ford, Merc and Lincolns in the late 60's to late 90's Crown Vics all had power steering oil cooler mounted off the radiator support. Easy to plumb an oil cooler in the return line. Even an auxiliary trans cooler would be fine. The Mopar are scarce as hens teeth but here is your solution for about $100.00 plus a hour of your time. You can tune in the road feel you want. The Heidts one works like a pressure regulator on a shop air compressor. https://www.heidts.com/part/adjustable-power-steering-valve-ps-101/
  21. The length of the arms on the knuckles change how quick or slow the steering is.To high pump pressure with make your steering feel like it "floats" for want of a better word I don't recall who supplied it but there was a pressure regulating valve made to lower the line pressure. for Mopars power steering in the 50's 60's to give road feel. The other choice is to run a belt driven P.S. pump ,you can go up on the pulley diameter to lower pressure at the pump.
  22. No it won't All the Snowflakes and Dandelions will fling money at them for taking a stand against Fascist America. Like most mentioned above this will trend until the next Social Justice Crisis appears. It is already moving to the DC celebration of Independence Day with oh the humanity . . .TANKS IN THE STREETS LIKE NAZI GERMAN!!! assholes.
