    Problem with all the Titan II sites it all 9 floors had equipment, power and ventilation systems destroyed. The wells are filled with concrete and the missile silos were imploded and filled with a concrete plug. . .to show the USSR we abided by the SALT II agreement and totally destroyed the bases.

    I remember seeing Certified Redi Mix DM800 and F900 Mixers with Hardbar suspension and 8 spokes when they were building L.I.E. Heaviest trucks on the Island at the time. BMT Member TRUCK1536 (John Scarpulla) my have photos of them. Paul

    Chipmunks will keep the Black Birds from nesting . . .Squirrels will get rid of the Chipmunks . . .Barn owls will get rid of the Squirrels and finally Black Birds will get rid of the Barn Owls. Repeat as often as needed.

    Sure! Top 3 are a Conco in Virginia. The bottom photos I was told are Internationals also, but I can't recall their model designations. Paul

    My R had one, spun faster, less draw and worked just fine. Sounded like a starter no louder no quieter. If the old one checks out O.K. why replace it? I'd personally save the $ for something needed. Paul

    Funny, the White House mouth piece spokes lady said today that the President does not understand how Law Enforcement is getting all the Military Equipment. Didn't he sign the order to renew the supply line to the LEO's? Suffolk County Sherifs Dept has a dozen HUMVEES and a pair of Mine Resistant Armored Personel Carriers. Paul

    Mifalei Tovala Ltd. is an Israeli trucking company. The company is based in Omer, Israel. Mifalei Tovala Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Israel Chemicals Ltd. Were these MACKS built at the Efraim Ilin factory? I knew he had started build Kaisers in the early 1950's and MACKs in 1956 and later Studebaker Larks in 1959. Was the DM pictured built at Illin or Ashdod?

    To me it looks like a I.H. Transtar 4300 cab made into a Cab Forward, much like they did in the states when they made the Conco COE.

    Can't the starter be rebuilt? Generally brushes, bearings or bushing are available. Armature commutator can be cut or cleaned up. Any shop the rebuilds electric motors could do that including checking the Armature and Field Coils for opens or shorts. That may be your best hope.
