  1. Very nice. Like the Jimmies. Paul
  2. If my lathe wasn't crated up I'd have to try it.
  3. JT I rarely sell cars. I had my El Camino I recently sold for 40 years Still have my 55 chevy I got when I was 16.. . 46 years. The theme of the 300 is to look like grandpas land yacht till you find you can't catch it or corner with it. Paul
  4. Absolutely nothing will be done that cannot easily be undone, even the transmission tunnel will be easily put back to stock. Magnumforce Race car fabrication make a C body modular k frame that will bolt in and has rack and pinion that hooks to the stock steering column assembly. The only thing is the Caddy white.. The entire power pack and accessories will be kept as a unit including the suspension, brakes, steering, wiring harnesses and hardware all on the original K frame. Paul
  5. Glad to answer all questions. The paint will be redone. the only change is the white will be Cadillac White Pearl. The interior is getting carpet and a few pieces vacuum plated. It will look stock until you look real close. Since most people do not have any idea what a HURST edition Chrysler 300 is 99% won't have any idea what is or isn't original. Paul
  6. So was mine, a Gold Comet.
  7. In the family since new. Pretty nice story and photos. Later click on the ANTIQUE TRUCKS. They kept and restored his family 1947 MACK plus others. Paul http://caseyhull.com/at_1941Mack.php
  8. The turn signals mounted mid way on the U model fenders do two things. 1) Further back the help move the center of gravity back to prevent see sawing. 2) Being mid way they are less prone to damage if it falls over on it's side due to over weight driver.
  9. Dang! Good load on it! Paul
  10. I recently cut up my 40,000 mile 1961 REO tater truck after the weekend "hunters" shot out every piece of glass and every gauge. Family bought it new never titled.
  11. Yes it is. The radiator were modified to use early brass tank. The display set up was built as I was told in the teens for military training and Resto moded in the 2000's. The photo is from Mahans in Jersey. I.m going down in March to photograph and measure the AC/Christe track conversion so I'll take more detailed photos of the demo engine
  12. Yeah, it's New York State DOT doing it not the Feds. NYDOT will set minimum age at 21 to operate No Exceptions . If it passes there will not be any state, county, or town DOT inspectors coming on to my property with out a warrant or court order to inspect my equipment. No if's Ands or Buts! It is private property and I will consider them trespassers. "Release the Hounds" . Paul
  13. Just plain rare and cool! Paul
  14. I want to leave the factory wheel. Hurst does a wireless Auto Stick / Paddle Shifter kit for the 2010 and up Challenger. The paddle shifter mount on the column. HURST also makes the Auto Stick Shifter for the console for the 8 speed auto. It plug into the trans computer and solves that problem. The HURST Auto Stick will replace the HURST His and Hers that came factory with the car and if still keeping with the HURST badging on the car. Once installed,it will look factory. Keeping with the stealth theme of the car. The 56 Dodge I sold to buy the 300, I put in a Desoto 331 Hemi with the Powerflite auto, had to fabricate everything! 15. Looks like a training tool for when the sh*t hits the fan.
  16. I would put it in the yard under a new moon, that way the wife gets used to the shadows til the full moon comes....
  17. Guy has a nice 1982 AutoCar dump with lift axle for sale. To bad they are all in Brooklyn
  18. Different rocker trim also. Paul
  19. Also look to see if the fuel hoses could be "soft" or collapsing on the inside and cutting off flow on high draw. 30 plus years old they DO go bad. Paul
  20. To many "Clones" of muscle cars foisted on the unknowing buyers.
  21. 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst edition I bought at Carlisle last year. It's got a running 440 TNT engine, 375 h.p. w/ torqueflite. I'm setting all the original drive train aside. It's not all plug and play Larry. The Crate engine is meant for 1999 and later Mopars not really a retro fit in non Computerized cars. I need to adapt throttle linkage, exhaust, mounts and modifiy the pan and cross member for clearance. The tranny requires a bigger tunnel, electronics for engine feed back, dead end loop for gear lock out and finally adapting the electronic shifter and paddles. Paul
  22. The would be something or how about in his brother Mike Landy's Horizon?
  23. Pretty decent looking old unit. I'll never understand why people park something out side and leave the windows open. Paul
  24. I guess the cars you grow up with you think are cool, I grew up surrounded by 20's through 60's cars. The 2 I wish I kept would be my 1963 Impala SS 327. 4 speed. Red with Black interior and my 1964 Nova SS. 283, 4 speed with PS, PB and AC. Turquoise, Black Vinyl top and Black interior.
