  6. No Texas hog, it's a New Yawk Hawg that my cousin had. I always thought it was a cross between a Pot Belly Pig and a Shetland pony with the hair. :} Missed my Marmon Home Coming in Denton this year from being ill, that's near you some what isn't it? Paul
  7. The automotive circuit breakers are automatic, they have a bi metal strip that causes them to open under the heat generated under a high draw and reset when they cool down. A short or overload will sometimes cause an endless cycle. They do wear down with age. Most all are available by amperage rating in an auto parts store . More than likely the solenoid is just doing it's thing. Paul

  14. The Dodge ran the big six until 55 or 56 when a Dodge Polysphere a Brownie box were swapped in and "speed holes" were added to the hood. A fairly typical mod in the early 50's to upgrade to a "modern" V-8. We had a few early 50's GMC tater trucks up graded from the 261 six to a 283 V-8. It was cheaper than a newer truck

  16. That one had a 241 Polysphere Hemi in it with a 4 speed and a brownie box. Bet the driver worked real hard to drive that unit.

  19. Here is a pair of F.D.N.Y and a pair of N.,Y.C. Dept of Sanitation MACKS with the L.A.F.D. (replaced a few years ago by a Western Star) thrown in for balance.
  20. 95 inch wheel base so it can u turn in tunnel. Mack ^ and Allison Auto. SCOT packs and remote breathing units for crew, foam, Halon and water fire fighting systems and normal recovery equipment. My 1963 Corvan 95 is actually a half a foot longer than the Tunnel Units. Paul

  22. Here is about a 1953 Dodge with rare sleeper powered by a 241 c.i. Hemi, unfortunately it was scrapped. Dodge mixer from up in Alaska.
  23. I also understand that Dodge put the FWD nose for engine access, the tilt nose would not clear the over head auto rack. Paul
