  1. On a good point I sold my 55 dodge for stupid money. Bad side is I spend all the money plus on a '70 Chrysler 300 Hurst edition...
  2. I'm am not missing. . .just was invisible for a bit!
  3. First the Road King and now the WOLF WAGEN. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2014/08/22/stick-your-tongue-out-and-say-complex-dual-engine-drive-from-a-prolific-trucking-inventor/?refer=news
  4. Same as you wife a visiting nurse. This patient was apparently "medicated" by her grand daughter with all the side show cures for Alzheimers and Dementia. She usually works with developmentally disabled teens and has no problems controlling them. With the elderly lady she was afraid to used the normal take down method. Surprisingly (at least to me) she can't wait to get back to her job. Paul
  5. The unit is now in Iowa and when the paper work is finalized will be on L.I. I did trace it to an antique boat power racers shop in Fall River near Battleship Cove, Ma in the late 80's early 90's. Fire-Matic is going to replace the tank and rebuild the pumps. Drive train will be gone over. The Lanova is long gone, the Cumins the replaced it is a stripped carcass. I will probably fit the spare Therodyne I got with my B mixer into it. It will eventually serve duty on our 300 acres in Virginia. Paul
  6. I've been negotiating on this one for about a year. Saw it at the Walcott Jamboree 6 or 7 years ago and the found it at a local shops back lot 3 years ago. Have never seen one with the extra wide grill shell, over size radiator or the VTA1710 1750 C.I. Cumins V-12. Last use was a road unit hauling scrap. Paul
  7. Thanks everybody. She's about 70% back to her old self. Called me an A hole for worrying so much about her, so that's a good sign. She is a visiting nurse and one of her Dementia patients banged her up pretty good. Told me to get out and play with my friends and leave her alone. So here I am.
  8. I'm Baaack. My wife was ill, I spend most every moment with her for the past month. I promise I'll spend more time with my invisable family Paul
  9. It's a little bit south of Rochester on rt 63 I think. Quite a few units came from the Kemp auction. I was out bid on the Autocar Mixer he has. Paul
  10. Be careful, not one in the Barrens....yet. Paul
  11. Nice country! Never saw a lake like that, saw Lake Erie in the 70's but it was rusty. Enjoy!! Paul
  12. squid, fromunder cheese and sour dough pizza..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  13. Fromunder cheese pizza?
  14. my two close encounters was once in nam the pair of sentries were so stoned they stood in the open laughing while we were mortared. Thought it was a cool fireworks display. Second was when I found the grandson when he was 15 (before he grew up to grand theft) was growing about 40 plants in the dump section of our farm. Turned him into a friend in the SCPD to scare the crap out of him. Maybe we wouldn't be so fu*ked up in this country, with drugs being so accepted and pushed promoted by those in power like the crack head in the White House. Just my opinion. Paul
  15. I had it on in the back ground. 1000 feet, cookie cutter cars no interest in them. Did figure on seeing the lower classes run but only a few minutes as filler. Big noise was funnies into the 3's but still only 1000 ft. My cage, Halon system and tin work is supposed to be done and certified the end of the month so I should get some practice runs a Lebenon to sort things for next year. Paul
  16. Did you run at Summit Dragstrip for the nationals last weekend? Showed Fuelers, Funnies and Pro Stock and a 2 minute filler of the "other" classes. Paul
  17. Keep the people drugged and happy so they love the government
  18. If that's the law for non commercial and you have proof go for it. I've found most officers do not know the laws and assume the person will pay and not fight it. I once got a ticket in Suffolk County for being in the left lane with a commercial vehicle. I was hooking up a Suffolk police car to tow to their shop. I accepted the ticket and made them close the three lanes to pull the car to the break down lane an hook it up. That was worth the ticket to tie up traffic and show the Supervisor when he showed up at the scene, the ticket his officer gave me for being where the P.D. wanted me to be. Paul
  19. Needs more speed for better jumps.
  20. Auto parts lingo probably...Will This Fit??
  21. To Caracas, Venezuela?? Safer in Watts!
  22. What They For (?)
  23. Head to Norfolk, Hampton Roads or around Chesapeake and hit the Maritime antique shops you'll find them in single or double stack lamps. Tugs and such ran them to the 60's. Probably won't find nickle plated only brass. Most were made by OSLO or N.Y.C. Maritime Electric. Paul
  24. It looks like some goodies with the Macks and Brockways, wish I could justify a few more AC's to the wife. Paul
