I deplaned in California and was spit on and called things I won't repeat. went to the local VFW and was denied permission to join because the WWII vets considered us" losers". The current administration and Congress are the people and the children of the people who were the people so vocal against us in the 60's and 70's. All politicians corrupt and power hungry. Obamama changes laws with out Congress. Enacts laws by Executive Orders. Reid will stop any bill he wants for spit to the Republicans. Obamma and Holder state they will not enforce laws "they don't like". EPA sets rules by whim. New fuel economy reg for trucks, coal and now oil fueled power plants to name a few. The Surgeon General is now classifying guns as a serious health issue via ACA. White House and Congress are moving to allow the UN to tax Americans for food, water, internet and emissions. $390 Billion dollars for a new set of "shovel Ready" projects to repair our highways and bridges. NYS Governor Cumo tells residents" if you have traditional views of marriage, believe in the right to own any weapons and have Christian Conservative values...we don't want you in our state" Local school board election in Hempstead at the close of voting is won by an unknown candidate. The next morning the election board "finds" 100 absentee votes for the loser, and swear her in ASAP. The State of N.Y. board of elections says it will be to costly and a long affair to remove the "winner". The "winner" with the absentee votes was black, the unknown was Hispanic.... It is beyond comprehension to see what is considered "normal political business". Before the current administration came to power, these "transgressions" would never be tolerated. Change Alternator, reverse wires on Amp and Temp Gauge and Batteries Not sure about the fuel gauge. If you have a radio or CB they have to be changed. Some have a dip switch to change ground from plus to negative. Paul

Gee I almost feel left out. Don't have a Smart Phone, no GPS (just an Atlas and pen), newest vehicle is a 2007, no E Z pass, Pay cash for most everything. Sniffle. . . I feel so alone.....

I see a few B models with the wipers mounted above the windshield. I figured it was the early B models with L model wipers But I see them on a 1953 and even a 1961. Were B models built at different factories or was the wiper location an option?

Nickel was used until the middle 30's. Ford went to chrome plating in 1936 and GM in 1938 or 39. MACK most likely would be about the same.

Try to find anything simple or plain. I went looking for a plain 1/2 or 3/4 ton, 4x4 standard cab pick up with an 8 foot bed, Vinyl and rubber interior, plain wheels and tires. no convenience group, no power windows or locks, no fancy radio. Just a basic work truck, every dealer laughed at the thought.. . . I'll keep my '88 Dodge I guess.
