Things are now made into law by agencies given to power to enact regulations with any consent of the Congress or the people. The courts are stacked full of judges that favor the government and corporation. Heads of agencies like the EPA, DEC and Dept of the Interior have been appointed not for the experience and knowledge, but their views that agree with the president and the Greenies. They thought of that scenario, the ACA gives the feds the power to do "live time transfers'' from your accounts including IRA's, SS and Life insurances and levy "cash advances'' on you credit cards to pay the "fee". Got to pass it to see whats in it.... Maddog, under Cumo's law my Rossi .357 lever action is classed as an assault rifle, but my Calico M100 is not. Go figure that.

Here is another perk, most all health insurance is now territorial under ACA my insurance I have in N.Y. may not cover me off the island and will not cover me out of state. I will need a rider for that for out of zone coverage. . . part of the ACA not allowing people from one state to purchase a policy in an other state. The availability and cost to be determined. Paul

People are tired of the political powers enacting regulations that benefit the feds, wall street or foreign countries. The president sees the refusal of Congress to pass a law as a green light for him to empower an agency to enact regulations to put it in effect that need no approval except his. No approval on Cap and Trade? we'll enact EPA laws to by pass that . . .OPEC stated that the Keystone pipeline will hurt their economy, so now the White House Dept of Interior and EPC are ordering new "study" which will delay the decision until 2017. When the Law of the Sea Treaty was signed and was enacted by the White House inaction, all water that flows to th ocean comes under U.N. Control with the EPA / DEC as "care takers" we ended up with a new group of quietly passed regulations : a class of "PIN POINT Polluters'' . . . Aqua Culture farms, Fish farms, Duck and Goose farms and such. On L.I. they are all being shut down under EPA/ UN law. They also have set the precedent to order you to buy a service or product set by the ACA cout ruling as "legal". The gov needs no reason except the idea to pass regulations and now that this admin follows the will of Environmentalists and Lobbyists we only need a spark to set off a revolt. Paul

Charging System Question
41chevy replied to rustydog's topic in Electrical, Electronics and Lighting
Here are the procedures for both types of systems, from the U.S.Military manual POLARIZING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Whenever a generator or a generator regulator is tested, repaired, or replaced, the generator must be polarized. If this is not done, the generator may be damaged and the regulator contacts burned. Reversed polarity will discharge the battery - or damage it. There are two types of generator and electromechanical voltage regulator combinations used with DC generators. In an "A Circuit" system, the field is grounded through the regulator. "A Circuit" systems are found in most Ford and GM vehicles. Most Chrysler vehicles had a "B Circuit" system which was grounded internally through the generator. To polarize an "A Circuit" system, connect the FIELD, ARMATURE, and BATTERY leads to the regulator. Connect the battery. Then, momentarily connect a jumper wire between the ARMATURE terminal and the BATTERY terminal at the regulator. To polarize a "B Circuit" system, connect the FIELD, and ARMATURE leads to the regulator. Connect the battery. Then, just before installing the BATTERY lead, momentarily touch it to the ARMATURE lead terminal. Milatary model MACKS have electrical systems with the POSITIVE battery terminal grounded. No horse drawn carriages, no bicycle messengers, hide tobacco from view so kids don't see it, no tanning salons and no air brush make up salons. NYC is sending out confiscation notices for weapons that hold 5 or more rounds (NY law says up to 5 is legal, NYC say it isn't). Hey NSA I lost a photo file, Think can you send me a copy?

No coal, soon no oil or natural gas, no Hydroelectric, no incandescent light bulbs. We have ACA mandating our health and God knows what else is hidden in it BUT we have free phones, birth control and 30 million illegals soon to be welcomed to Obammarika.

If and it's a big if, they push it through under the EPA first they do not need a vote on it. That seems to be how it's going to be this time. Reid is also holding the farm subsidies as ransom for the DOT /FMCSA regs to pass and since food production/agriculture all fall under the White House Rural Counsel and DHS/FEMA guess who wins? Not us. As for the powers that be? No idea of the world out side of the Beltway. Same out look as the "Gimmie" people, all they worry about it the cash flow to them.

Wait til the White House uses all the registered ACA Obamma Care data to have the people to vote for him. . . whether they want to or not!

Make them cold, hungry and jobless and most will do what ever the powers that be want. Not all but most. All we have is 6 acres of sour farm land after Sandy, My signs say No Trespassing. I don't care if you are the local drunk or the president himself you will not enter my land uninvited to tell me how to operate. Paul

And the American public who bankrolled the bail out in 2009 get zippo . . . again!

This was proposed before obamammas run for reelection in 2011. Now it resurfaced again as Winter recess legislation. The latest is the reappearance of legislation by DOT and FMCSA requiring anyone who operates farming equipment and farming attachments to have a commercial driver’s license (CDL). This is touted as an increase in safety and an as a ''revenue enhancement" for the Feds' Paul The DOT proposed a rule change for all farm equipment will place significant regulatory pressure on small farms and family farms all across America – costing them thousands of dollars and possibly forcing many of them out of business. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), part of the Department of Transportation (DOT), has ordered new standards that would require all farmers and all personnel on a farm to obtain an A or B CDL (Commercial Drivers License) in order to operate any farming equipment. The agency is going to accomplish this by reclassifying all farm vehicles and implements as Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs). The White House Rural Counsel and The Center For American Progress and the Teamsters are backing the proposed changes By reclassifying all farm vehicles and implements as Commercial Vehicles, the Federal government will now be able to claim regulatory control over the estimated 800,000 farm workers and an estimated 450,000 farm implements in America and opening to door for EPA regulation and the unionization of them at the same time. The proposed change also means ANYONE driving a tractor or operating any piece of motorized or towed farming equipment would be forced to pass the same rigorous tests and fill out the same detailed forms and diaries required of semi-tractor trailer drivers. This reclassification would bury small farms and family farms in regulation and paperwork. Some of the additional paperwork and regulation required: Detailed logs would need to be kept by all drivers – hours worked, miles traveled, etc. Vehicles would have to display DOT numbers Drivers would need to pass a physical as well as a drug test – every two years. Allow enforcement checks by DOT and FMCSA officers including local enforcement personnel Farm use vehicles will now require Commercial insurance and registration tags
