We have laws about texting, talking on the phone or using your i pad, why aren't they enforced? Law enforcement to indifferent? To much paper work? Not worth the fines? Ordered not to do it? Lack of enforcement appears to be nation wide, so whats the problem? Hospitals and Doctors both pay a "fee" if a patient returns for addition treatment within 60 days. Example of the ACA law is If you have a broken arm and return in 30 days for x rays and and smaller cast. That is considered a re treatment of a previously "cured" illness. There for the Hospital or doctor is liable for up to a $30,000.00 "fee" levied by the IRS. The IRS figured 4.5 billion in fees for not purchasing health insurance and 5.7 to 6.5 billion for Hospital and Doctor non compliant "re treatment". Just a money maker for the feds to piss away on no needed crap. When you are Hungry, Cold and Sick you won't be watching what the gov is doing. . . . worked in the USSR, Cuba and Gernany. Paul

Glen Cove Community Hospital closes all except ER by May 2014 (1250 personal lose their jobs), Stony Brook Hospital is closing Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, and Organ Transplant services and limiting services in ER. The North Shore Medical Group is ending all services at Syosset Hospital except ER and the same at Plainview General Hospital. Saint Charles in Port Jefferson is a Therapy Hospital and is talking about shutting down 500 beds and the entire Occupational Therapy services. Paul

You can pick up a Miller Flux Core 110 / 220 volt and it has an optional gas kit and also an easy swap to reverse polarity to do aluminum. I have one I take with me to job sites with a Honda Generator. Cost me about 4 or 500 for the welder, one hundred for the gas kit. Gen I picked up after the Sandy panic off Craigs List. If I want to do Aluminum it's another 150 for the spool gun. Paul

Now when part 2 of the sequester kicks in on January and the DOD loses 60% more of their budget, we will have more daily speeches, more cheering from the media and more blame on GWB and staff. . . more cheering from the media. . .

Yeah, I guess I don't Hate them, but I mainly grew up using conventional reels for 50 plus years for everything from Flounders, Blackfish, Striped Bass, Snapper, Blues, Weaks and Cod I still use a few of my pops Ocean City reels. I got a Squider and a few other Penn conventionals. I have a pair of Shimanno Bait Casters and a few Penn Spinners, just get a bit stupid when I switch back and forth between types. Where I lve, I can fish in 2 rivers, a ton of little ponds 3 lakes, the Atlantic Ocean and the Long Island Sound. They are all with in 20 minutes of home, pretty lucky in that way. Paul

I used a pencil popper with a white buck tail teaser on a 14 inch mono leader off the poppers last hook, 8 1/2 foot Ugly Stick and a Penn Mag 10 Bait caster. Hate spinner reels. Paul

Kind of side tracked with work and my Mustang rebuild. I usuall get about 2 hours in the very early morning in the hobby shed but it's been spent for the most part doing the chassis and engine mods on my SVO. Paul

The Village of Mattituck is selling 2 MH road sander and 1 Midliner 6 wheel dump and 2 Midliner rack bodies. I was looking at the Midliner as a mulch hauler for residential use. Didnt ever really pay attention to them and was curious as to what the were based on. Kind of block out Renault after my Dalpheen incident.... Paul
