  1. Have a really great Birthday!! Paul
  2. G.M. spy photo of the new eco - friendly low pollution alternate fuel vehicle. Sources say with the tax credit, buyer incentives and manufacturers rebates the projected cost is $134,983.98. Not available in all states and not for sale in California pending CARB approval. ( taxes, local permits, licensing fees and shovel are not included in price)
  3. We learned in school to use an electrical source using a Anode and Cathode to charge the liquid and separate the Hydrogen and Oxygen molecules..they have apparently created a unit equal to selling Magic Beans to Obama...smoke and mirrors that does nothing.
  4. And here, we waste it on tires and names in snow.
  5. Common sense tells me to be logical... Hemming Classic Car had a drive test of Leno's un restored 1899 Electric Buggy, twin 60 volt motors. It has a 40 mile range...Same range as the Volt built 114 years later. Electric Buggy designed and built by a blacksmith, Volt designed by committee and built by UAW. LMAO
  6. I always watch BBC, a lot of news that is suppressed here is aired, like this. Talked to my cousins in Denton, Tx there was a lot off positive things mentioned. Paul
  7. I may have now How much are you looking for??
  8. Put some lipstick and $1200.00 jeans and it looks like the first "lady"
  9. They are pushing now to repeal FDR's amendment to limit presidential terms to two, so God can run in 2014. Pelossi's team sent out emails for support of the repeal. Mamma got one from the Democratic Action Committee.
  10. Now if some one would explain to me how electric vehicles are "zero polluters" why we use more "dirty" energy to make a Volt than a conventional vehicle , more energy to keep it charged, more energy to make the batteries and import them from Asia and no idea how to dispose of the lithium ion batteries when dead?
  11. MILITARY GETS PRIORITY VOTING!
  12. He had the build up on here too, very nice work! Paul
  13. I'm 75 or so miles east on NYC in Suffolk County, we were lucky with power and heat but we were prepared with a supply of wood for the stove and fire place, extra gas and diesel, all the vehicles fueled up, food in the larder and a diesel generator if needed. Most here did squat to prepare until the storm was almost here. We fared with no damage except a cracked windshield in my ole Dodge truck.Lost internet and cell but no power. With in a mile or two around up is flooding and damage. Point was though the Senator tells us that even with no electric to charge the batteries we would be able to us our Electric Obama cars.. As for Obama he can go to Illinois and the Carolinas where Murry Energy just laid off a bunch of people in the coal industry or why he will not approve the Keystone Pipe Line or better yet why Jim Biden brother of the V.Pres just was awarded a one point five BILLION dollar contract to rebuild the housing in IRAQ....face us and explain that.
  14. LMAO!!!!!
  15. I gathered that info a while ago in my search for a 3100 series 1955 series one to be the mate to my 1970 series one Camaro ( still a 69 body style titled as a 70) Glad it helped ya
  16. We here in N.Y. and N.J have lack of fuel, lack of electricity, lack of help from FEMA (because of the storm and cold they shut down). LIPA just explained that they don't know how to fix the grid and say it could be Thanksgiving or Christmas before the come up with the solution. So we have gas stations with fuel and no power and stations with power but not fuel....BUT super Senator C.Sch$%@%# from L.I. said the the people in the two states are coping with the cold, no power and no fuel very well. Than stated that "if the people with no power and no gas owned Chevy Volts or other electric cars they would be able to go around easier" ?? Don't Electric vehicles need power from a LIVE GRID to run or does the ION FAIREE and UniCorns keep them powered up? LMAO

    COOL!
  18. I would check the speed sensor on the trans tail shaft. Not signal= no speedometer or cruise control. Paul
  19. The doors are the same. The hoods interchange but have different emblems in different locations. The front bumper is the same. The running boards and cab filler panels are the same. The back and corner glass is the same. The seat is the same. Just about EVERYTHING else is different. Cab: 1 piece curved windshield glass slightly different arc than 54, cab roof peak smoothed out some. Completely different dash, different gauges, different knobs Frame: different kick up in the rear, lower and flatter for the bed. Change to bell housing cross member to accomodate hydramatic trans which debuted in '54. Bed: 2" deeper, flat tops, ribbed sides by the fenders, tailgate and tail lights change. It is more of a second series bed. Front fenders: Recesses for marker lights, shorter front "overhang" where it meets the bumper. Front grill: completely different Front apron: shaped to match different grill Open driveline:(drive shaft) 55 on series 1, 54 is a torque tube 235 / 248 /261 6 cylinders from 54 up with Hydramatic have a 60 psi oil pressure gauge Most of this is from a 1955 G.M. Tech Bulletin. Dash and open drive shaft are the 2 biggest noticeable differences. Paul
  20. Very few people realize that Willies "surplus" was smoke and mirrors. On the other side, the Pres said he will veto any plan that does not include all the tax increases he wants....so much for non partisan politics. Paul
  21. Matco and Lisle both make the Lock strip install tools cost about 12 or 14 bucks, Saves a ton of time putting in the lock strip after the glass is in.
  22. And guess what Ernie, I still got up a went off to do my job today, cause thats how I was raised...I'll do what I have too do for my country when and if the time comes. It is still the BEST place to be in the world, Bar None, no matter what!! Paul
  23. Heres one more
  24. "Take care of your own shit, bust your ass, and don't worry about what the next guy is doing, and things will turn out alright for you. If you start worrying about what someone else has or what they're doing, it'll drag you down. This great country was founded by people who busted their ass and got it done. It doesn't matter one bit who is President, people that get it done will always do well, people who sit around and cry about what someone else has or does will always be at a disadvantage" I've taken care of my own shit and my family, bust my ass everyday since I was 10 on my Grand parents farm and every day since 6 and 7 days a week rain, snow sick as a dog or not. Took a 1 1/2 year "vacation" in 1970 for Uncle Sam. We put one son through college and one through tech school. Built my business and some times went home with out paying myself because I needed it all for my employees pay. We bought the remains of my families farm. Paid for our health insurance. Never ever took a loan or a hand out. Helped people who needed help, supported my church and my country when they called. Now, I'm told that my success and hard work has to be shared with someone who refuses to work hard for what they want, someone who feels entitled to health care, heat, food and nice things because they exist? My poster child is my neighbor....6 years of college and grad school, 2 years out of it and can not get a job in his field and will not take any other job in the mean time. I offered his a part time job as he "net worked" for a slot. I was told the his generation does not do Manual Labor! His wife works 2 jobs to keep a roof over their heads, he collects food stamps and public assistance, drinks his wine, smokes his crap for his "Medical Condition" and tells me Obama's going to raise my taxes to pay for his much needed health care....so being angry about that puts me at a disadvantage? As for respect, I gave him a fair shot in 2009 he blew it and has done nothing since to regain it. Paul
