They are building a replacement of Manorvilles truck that was burned in this year wildfires. They say SWAB did those style light conversions on their trucks and it also has a SWAB style bumper.. Coming out of NYC, with a burned out, graffitied, FDNY firetruck on a trailer pulled by a black and silver Marmon is definatly something that blends in. LOL

Mostly small trim pieces for the interior. I bought the truck from Stonybrook University wherte it was the Head of Building Maintenance's site truck. Unusual for a NY State truck as it has a 360 Chrysler, 727 Torqueflite with PW, PS, PB, AC, AM/FM stereo and the fancy interior with carpet. Never had a plow or trailer hitch on it and appeared to never have carried anything much in the bed...til I got it.

Thought about that. I asked my "godfather" in the NYPD head quarters about it, so we wait and see. I don't know how to fabricate with an English wheel or power hammer, but if its chassis or panel I can make it, fix it and weld it. I was a Navy Certified welder doing F-14 center wing box sections, tail hook mounts and general Air frame welding and fabrication. I can do MIG, TIG, EB weld, Stick and gas weld steels and aluminum. Don't expect it from the current one either. Even though he promised us the most transparent administration ever. Back room deals on not only health care but the "Green energy" deals. I pay thousands in taxes, permits and EPA Performance Bonds, EPA/DEC training and certification, for my self and 5 employees. Now under his health care I'll have to fire one to pay the required coverage on the rest... 2000 plus new regulations and "fees" in the Healthcare bill, that the current administration is finding out as we go along..."We need to pass it to see what in it" I believe was said! Social Security was set up to be locked and not touched except for the people who payed into it. LBJ allowed the government to "borrow" from it for his Great Society (welfare) program. We now give Social Security to any boby whether they contributed or not. As for touching your pensions,IRA's and other monies...the health care plan allows any government agency involved in it to do "real time" (electronic) transfers money from your IRA, Pension and Bank accounts for "fees and needed costs" with out permission. It was part of the obamama care IRS Fee (tax) but was upgraded to include incidental costs. So your pensions, IRA's and direct deposits are all ready "theirs" I do not believe ANYBODY in government understands that the R.R. pension, Union pensions and most corperate pensions are not Federally controlled or contributed too, only taxed. "movie stars" opinions? Believe anything from diviates and dopers?? If they were not "actors" they would most likely be "Occupy" people. I only respect 3...Clint Eastwood, Jimmy Cagney and Gary Cooper.

F.D.N.Y ... F.D.N.Y. ... F.D.N.Y. I've been filing paperwork with the NYPD so much that anytime I put anything on paper for NYC it's starts with N.Y. oops! I've looked at it a few times when I bid on Flushing Airport clean up. My reason is for patterns of the cab mounts and other specific parts of the crew cab. It's my understanding that this unit was supposed to have been scrapped many years ago but was bypassed and forgotten. Paul

Most all since FDR have been signed by an aide or by autopen. The most personal letters of condolence are generally sent by a company or unit commander.
