  1. I went to trade school there in 1968 /69 right next to Friendly Frost near Urban Avenue. School was closed for 2 days because of a shooting battle over drug turf. We did some work of Westbury ave in the late 90's and had to hire security for the vehicles and be out before 4 pm. Still a odd area, one street is typical home town with nice homes and families and one block over its a war zone. Certain areas are a mix of gangs now from Mexicali Mafia to MS13 and all in between.
  2. Has any one ever tried to see if STEELE Products make a direct or a close match? They do over 300 different sponge and soft rubber extrusions alone, plus a ton of dedicated pieces. Paul You may even match up with Ford or GM truck vent seals in the main catolog. Paul https://dealer.steelerubber.com/Ecommerce/SpecialDenseExtrusion.aspx

  12. Bed Sty Brooklyn, the Bowery, Alphabet City and alot of the South Bronx were always bad areas even before WWII. The "Great Society' just sealed their fate. Same as Wyandanch or New Castle. Trash all over, run down homes, closed business' , but most of the cars are new BMW's Caddies and Benzes. Everybody in $500 joggers with a pound of gold on their neck. In both those area there are Obama Campaign offices full of give aways. He is not to blame for the areas, but he certainly is exploiting it for votes. Paul

  14. IS HE FOR REAL?????????? Obama: Washington 'feels as broken as it did 4 years ago' Published July 15, 2012 Associated Press WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama says Washington "feels as broken as it did four years ago," when he took office. He's most frustrated by the inability "to change the atmosphere" in the capital "to reflect the decency, common sense and honesty of ordinary people" who want "trust worthy and true for the people leaders to solve problems". He adds "there's enough blame for Bush politics as usual to go around for that." Obama tells CBS' "Sunday Morning" that there's no doubt that he a common working man with grass roots upbringing underestimated how much "politics trump problem solving."

  17. Ask Jerry At Modeltruckin, they sound like ones made by Kurt Mclucas under the name Scale Truck Decals. Jerry sells some of his decals and has the rights print others. The other shot is this. Call or E mail Dave Natali at AITM. They are similar to his sets that come with his B and L series cabs.
