  5. Yup Vinny, the Roadway U was made from a DM600 kit and a resin U model conversion from a company called A.I.T.M. ( http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/kitsparts.html ) Click on the underlined name for the image of the kit. They make alot of Mack and Brockway conversions. Dave Natali is generally at the ATHS and Mackungie shows with his kits. I go to a hobby shop that has a few DM600 kits in stock. Paul

  12. I did visors with Nutserts / Rivnuts and no problems. I think Fasten all has pretty complete a kit to do 1/4 5/16 and 3/8 size fasteners or even a tool rental store. I never had good luck with self tapping screws on a visor. Paul

  21. Just put Farm plates on my 1959 I.H. You need to be 6000 GVW on the truck, NYS safety inspection, allowed to run a 25 mile radius of farm address, carry farm supplies and tools, tow a token trailer with combined weight of combo not over 46,000 lbs. and can be used to take family members to church. It's exempt from all DOT regs. Paul
  22. O.K. here is the answer you expected...Diesels run away for these reasons. 1)Bad home life 2) to much stress at work 3)a bad marriage 4) No marriage, 5) owe too much money 6)did a bad thing and are afraid of being punished 7)just plain nuts 8) afraid of U models. Better Answer???
