  2. The longer hood and filler panels are factory Mack parts. I'm pretty sure have a pic I just have to find where it is, but I'm sure it was a 3406 Cat, he has Cat powered badges all over it. Course my kids say I'm wrong so it's possible I am..........

  4. This was at the ATHS show in Winchester Va last year, factory Cat with longer hood and filler panels between rad and fenders. Same extended nose parts as the B model Fire chassis with the Hall Scott power plants I was told. Some body on here had extra sheet metal for the nose too.

  21. I tended to think lube system like all suggested with the 16 lines. Didn't see any type of pick up though. Almost thought it was a Saurer Petrol Diesel. Lube system makes better sense. Paul
  22. This is in the Mack Museum PDF file it's on page 3. It looks to have a chain or belt driven injector unit on it. I assume it's a pre AC or AB engine. Some kin ship to my AC engine. Early diesel? Never saw anything like it. Paul http://www.jeffwidmer.com/Downloads/Create/MackHistoryBroFINAL.pdf

  24. I had a pair of appraisals done when I got the carrier body installed because the truck was an '80 and because of the 90,000 original miles plus the agent suggested it. The carrier is Chubb. I'm going to remind the agent that my 2 machines, a trailer, 2 road trucks, my pick up, shop and house are all going to leave, if they don't get me squared up. I really don't need this crappola. I told momma I should park it all and retire... boy that didn't go over well.......... On the bright side I go to Middlesex Pa the end of next week and get my new Jones R 600 hood. Paul
