  4. Yeah, he seems to be okay. Chopped..sounds cool, it will still look like a Mack. Late model drive train..long as it's volvo. Me I'd plop the cab on a late Mack chassis and power pack and invest the time and coin in the body, paint and chrome. At least it's not scrapped and its good that he has an interest it. Who knows maybe the next will be a stocker. Good luck . Paul
  5. After exhausting all the local suppliers and a few no so local ones , I come to the master for advise. :notworthy: :notworthy: I need 16 AWG Female high temp flag connectors. They need to be the steel 900 degree sustained heat connectors not trhe copper alloy 650 degree ones. Figured it would be relatively easy to find since they are used in lighting, ovens and other high temp applications. But noooooo! Any ideas?
  6. I got asked what a Pacific M-26a is. This is one of my dream rigs, unfortunatly they are all made of "unobtainium" Chain drives, 1049 C.I. Hall Scott, crew of 5. WWII heavy tank recovery/ transporter Made by Pacific Car and Foundry. Paul

  10. Tell him they taste like chicken. Paul
  11. I don't see how a parent taking care of a disabled adult chid on Medicaid is apart of the SEIU. If I missed something in the article how the SEIU and the parents had any type of union contract, please pointed it out.I never realized that the SEIU created and controlled those programs. Under those rules I owe the SEIU or CSEA a ton of money for taking care of my parent in their last years. Paul
  12. Not a suprise. Paul
  13. I don't know............I looked at one once and my wife asked me if I was nuts for even thinking about one.............

  15. Do you need to walk him in a park? There is on in NYC where he can play with the OKW people. He'd sure have some good ole fun there. Paul
  16. And one more thing. These are the off spring of the 60's Haight Ashbury type people. The followers of Abby Hoffman and Timothy Leary and Hanoi jane. I will say this, whom ever is pulling the strings be it Accorn or the potus...they are following the WWII play book to the letter. Blame a group for their problems: Israel and the jewish population, Kristal nacht...a minor one in San Fransisco. I wait to see their retaliation against the neighborhood shop owners and what Blumberg and Kelly do. Paul
  17. Nice to see the people realizing what OWS is,it's sad they all fear retaliation from the trash. Paul http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/11/11/small-business-owners-fight-back-against-occupy-wall-street/

  24. I knew Miller manufactured towing / recovery accessories and was a world wide distributor of the major recovery equipment companies products.I did not think they made entire wrecker units. I just bought a new Weldbilt equipment carrier unit for my R model and all the accessories are Miller products. They appear to be a high quality manufacturer. When I worked at a Century dealer in the 70's the slings and other towing equipment supplied with each unit was a Miller product. I've always had good luck with what products I've used. Paul
  25. Glad to hear that,What happened to all the M26 Pacifics there? He had at least a dozen. Paul
