You need to remember how history is now taught in Public Schools. The War with Japan was not caused by the Japanese attack in the Pacific. It is now taught that the USN destroyer Ward fired the opening shot at a Japanese sub. (who was on the way to attack the ships in Pearl) WWII, Korea and Vietnam are taught now as the American War on the Pacific Rim. Our failed attempt to conquer the Pacific Rim for corporate America. Europe forgets we bore the brunt with supplies, troops and ships to help them to win WWII and that America put the Continent back on it's feet with the Marshall Plan. Hell most of the millennial's and younger don't even know who we fought in the Revolutionary War but they can tell you what color Taylor Swifts undies are. They are taught our history is war like, homophobic and racist and we have nothing to be proud of or patriotic about. Pretty sad.
