  1. In photo 7 of that set there is a straight line for a splice where the top of the trunion on the right side bolts on. I'd be real leery of the condition of the rails.

  3. I have H.I.D. headlights in my Am General M917 for the plow unit. They will burn your retinas on high beams, like a landing light on an aircraft. Good for plowing my driveway in the dead of night.
  4. Six cylinders here run H/Gas. The 55 a few years ago had a 302 GMC truck six in it with a Wayne Cross Flow head, injection and a Hydro Stick Ran a 57 VW with a turbo Corvair in the late 1960's very , very quick for it's time. . Ran well but was very hard to get parts for. Like to get an Australian Hemi Six to run in a Dart here. A 500 c.i. Caddie is from the mid 1970's with after market heads, intake, cam and headers will easily make 600 plus h.p. and is only 80 pounds heavier than a Small Block Chevy. I have one installed in a 1964 Nova I was building for my wife. That will go into the 55.

  13. Haven't you heard to the AFL-CIO-A.I.International Labor Movement, Alexa is already holding the Ring Doorbell and the Smart Fridge hostage until SEIU represents her. My Windows 10 says BYTE ME. Only a matter of time before the Autonomous cars join the Teamsters.
  14. 15. So starts her campaign for 2020 Presidential run...
  16. Who got the popes nose?
  17. Give them both, it could have been tagged with the engine number or the 31MB 2843. NYS did some odd things back then. I have three pre WWII trucks that NY registered with the chassis numbers and one that is registered with the engine number. All from the same clerk in Long Island City in the early 1930's. You might also contact one of your old Chief's, Bob Vaccaro, who has more than 40 years in the fire-service. Bob also worked for the Insurance Services Office, the New York Fire Patrol. He might have some ideas or even contacts.
  18. If you feel comfortable with doing an inframe with heads than go for it, assuming no other issues before. https://www.pai-diesel.com/uploads/soft/PAI-DIESEL WARRANTY 2016.pdf
  19. The red glitter knob is from a small guy on Long Island N.Y. Different company than the mis spelled ones. The red glitter knobs are for my B mixer quadbox with the Black with Dog knobs for the AWD range lever and the PTO shifter. Didn't realize the mis spelled trucks until the pics were posted.
  20. A lot of anger at that meet, seems I threw off their schedule oiling the track.
  21. It's ups and downs, but each day gets a bit better.
  22. When I picked up my 8 months of mail these were in it. From a company called House of Speed. Forgot I ordered them. Got two of each. Got two black and two red with TRUCKS misspelled too. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  23. Before and after not a care in the world. Wheels touched at the same time the engine let go. I've done a lot worse. New engine will be a 500 c.i. blown Caddy. The last photo is from 1970 was a blown 265 chevy on Benzine gasoline mix. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  24. PAI makes quality parts but you and your tech should get what they feel able to work the best with.
