  1. Looks like one from the Haul of Fame auction a few years ago. Glass is all flat be about the same cost as my mixer to have cut near $300.00 +or -. See if the engine moves, that and glass is half your battle to make it flip-able. Paul
  2. Hartford Connecticut on 95.
  3. I believe it is time to return, I'll start it on saturday
  4. Swift/Rite-Aid 2nd day on the job. Limo was at the pump. Hosted on Fotki
  5. Only one 12.8 lb full bottle at the point of valve float, burned up two Continental radials and burned two big holes in the asphalt.
  6. That was a stock 1979 440, 150,000 plus miles given a 200 h.p. NOX shot to kill it.
  7. This is a 440 that was destroyed by the rod breaking mid point, the piece on the crank spun around and broke the cam in 3 pieces. Look at the last photo, the rod and wrist pin are still on the crank but not in their original cylinder. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  9. Lay a bet the rod left first and the cam ran after it.Look at the rod bolts for bending or shearing. Mopar cams as a rule do not fail by breaking on their own. I can probably dig out a good short block 440 TNT engine, if I go home to look. Haven't been there since my wife died, should see if it's still o.k. .
  10. Might help. For Allison 3000 and 4000 series units. I would follow procedure to check oil level first. https://www.mixerandplantparts.com/v/vspfiles/downloadables/Documents/Trans Codes.pdf
  11. Well they ARE in Kalifonica
  12. Probably easier than this will. . . It's actually still in the garage in Kentucky , the rock, fell on it when the car was new in 1969. "hello All State? I got a bit of rock damage on my brand new Chevy, am I covered"
  13. Well, it DOES appear to have a "Natures Way" sunroof by seeing daylight shining in on pic
  14. Rod bolts are a notorious weakness on non Hi-Po big blocks. I personally always replace when I get an older 383 or 440. Non H-Po Chrysler went down in rod bolt shank diameter for some reason and than knurled it to fit the bolt hole in the rods.
  15. I only have 5 or 6 but all 427's. The 413's were from Cotton Owens 1963 Dodge Stock car. Two of the 426 Wedges are Max Wedge II one is a Max Wedge III I got all the 440's when the NYS V.F.D. tournament rules changed to a 400 c.i limit. I was buying the C truck racing engines for $200 to $300 a piece for complete less distributors, Hemi's I was paying $250 for. The Chevies were cheaper $100 each complete. Even have 2 Hype Pack / Mexicn Export 225 Tower of Power slant sixes. I just bought a Shotgun Ford for my ex Mickey Thompson Pinto funnycar, 787 c.i. 3600 h.p. on Alcohol paid close to a new loaded Fusion would cost. Here an example of what most of my 440's came from Hosted on Fotki
  16. I got 70 or 80 413, 426 wedges and 440 TNT engines plus 2 dozen or so Hemi drag engines. 425 to 2500 h.p. we could find one for you.
  17. Easier to just leave it in my Mopar Big Block container for me.
  18. You can do it on the engine fairly easy. Remove the large "NUT" on the pump and pull out the relief spring , spray in the port where the spring is and the oil filter side with solvent a few times and let soak, reassemble and fire it up.
  19. $2195.00 GSA price. Holds 1200 Big Mac meals, 5650 White Castle sliders or one HRC snack..
  20. Looks like a Pontiac possibly Grand Prix / Bonneville
  21. I agree relief vale stuck. Generally it dumps pressure at around 80 psi . Put a mechanical gauge on it with an other filter and check pressure on start up. Some times they free up after the expanding / exploding oil filter show. Pressure relief replacement is not to bad on the big blocks.
