Viper make two different after market kits. One with a remote and one blue tooth activated. A company called Bulldog Security also makes a basic kit (KE1702 ) for about $50. That one works well, I put one in my AM General dump.

Florida High School Shooting - 17 confirmed dead

Guns and vehicles are the easiest things to target for political points, has zero to do with anything but votes and TV ratings. Thought we got rid of life time support of crap when Manson died, now we replace him with this. At least 50 to 60 years of supporting him with free education, media, health care and god knows what else. I for one am sick and tired of giving criminals a better life than many of our seniors and veterans get. We'll have to see what comes from Obama's Town Hall meeting and his meeting with the victims parents tomorrow in Florida. Guess he is still the one people turn to for help. -

Every bodies fault but the killers. pathetic Suspected Florida shooter seeks to avoid death penalty by pleading guilty By John Bowden - 02/16/18 07:22 PM EST 348 39 © Getty Images A public defender representing the 19-year-old suspect in Wednesday's shooting at a Parkland, Florida, high school told reporters on Friday that his client would be willing to plead guilty in order to avoid the death penalty. Broward County public defender Howard Finkelstein told ABC News that Nikolas Cruz, the former student charged in the shooting rampage that killed 17 people and wounded others, would plead guilty immediately in exchange for prosecutors to take the death penalty off the table. "We have an opportunity to begin to put this behind us, to help the victims’ families as much as we can and begin to heal as a community,” Finkelstein said Friday evening. “It comes down to one simple question: Does he live or does he die?” he added. Finkelstein went on to add that his client is considering an insanity plea if a deal were not reached with prosecutors, adding that blame for the shooting also lay with law enforcement and local government. "This is not a case for lawyer games. Everybody knows what happened. There’s no question about whether he committed this act. And there’s no question of whether this is the most horrific act ever in Broward County -- it is," the lawyer said. "The school system failed. The mental health system failed. DCF [the Department of Children and Families], our social service agencies failed. Law enforcement failed because every red flag was present. And the FBI apparently failed. And the security measures for somebody to buy guns failed. Every single system was ignorant or willfully blind," Finkelstein said. Cruz was charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder Thursday morning. A judge has ordered him held without bond. President Trump, who is in Florida and is expected to visit with victims, pointed to mental illness as a reason for the shooting. “So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!” Trump tweeted Thursday. -

Who after the shootings, stopped at Subway for a soda, Walmart for chips and Mac Donalds for a burger. Must be remorseful about not getting fries. Schoolmate, Brody Speno, also recalled peculiar behavior."Something wasn't right about him," Speno recalled. "He was off." Speno said he knew Cruz from elementary school until his family moved away a couple of years ago. He described him as "an evil kid" who was "always getting in trouble." He recalled Cruz stealing peoples' mail, throwing rocks at cars and tormenting animals. He described one incident in which he said Cruz "cornered a squirrel and was trying to throw rocks at it and kill it." He said police were called to the house "almost every other week." Documents obtained by the Times show that law enforcement officers responded to Cruz's house on 39 occasions over a seven-year period. He had two Instagram accounts featuring weapons and photos. In one picture he is wearing a kerchief over his face and a Make America Great Again hat. Another photo is taken from behind a gun sight looking out the window. There are online posts in which he writes: "I wanna shoot people with my AR-15" and "Im going to be a professional school shooter" The latter post, made with Cruz's name attached to it, was reported to the FBI. But FBI officials said they were unable to determine who was responsible. This summer a Nikolas Cruz made an online comment in response to a story about a disgruntled doctor in New York who used an AR-15 to shoot seven people, killing one and wounding six others. "Man, I can do so much better," he wrote. The comment was linked to one of Cruz's YouTube accounts, which have since been removed in the wake of Wednesday's shooting. Not everyone who crossed paths with Cruz saw reason for concern. Jim Lewis the attorney for the family who took him in after his mother's death said they were aware of trouble he'd earlier had at school and saw signs of depression. But, "we didn'tfeel there was any danger in his actions," Jim Lewis said. -

It is always the gun owners fault because it is an easy target for politicians and the media. Why? Because the media and politicians hype how evil they are, every gun owner is anxious to kill people, every weapon is an assault rifle. The media with in 1/2 hour of the shootings was talking about the kid using and assault rifle with a bump stop, and having hand grenades. No bump stop and a few smoke markers. Can't blame the teachers, the administrators, local officials or the social programs that enable them or even the video games and music videos that glorify those type of actions. Why they could stop giving them money to stay in office. The democrats were saying today that this will help them win back the majorities in both houses because this is so much better the DACA for political impact. The 17 deaths will now be used for political gain. . .by both sides. More gun laws and confiscations will do nothing to help. The return of family values, taking responsibility for one actions, discipline, teaching a child that failing at something is not the end of the world, stop raising them in a cocoon, teach them the truth, the world isn't a warm a fuzzy place but cold and potentially very dangerous. Maybe even some religion would go a long way to ending these situations. AS for armed guards at schools. A few armed teachers like the Israelis and Chechen's in Eastern Europe use, would be more effective and less visible. You need to realize that a potential shooter can skirt a guard, but arm the teachers randomly, makes an attackers chances very, very low. Gun Free Zones, Drug Free Zones and Safe Zones are a liberals way of inviting attacks IMO. -

Lets see, he's 19 years old, can drive, vote, get married, buy a vehicle, get credit and join the military. So he becomes a "child" after he commits murder? Bull. My grand son (liberal parents) plays Call to Duty, and Grand Theft Auto. he's 25 been playing that crap since he was 12. No concept that you kill some one the don't return for the next game. He brags to mommy about all his kills and head shots. Both parents think that's cute! I asked them if they will still think it's cute when he is on the news as a shooter? Maybe if the violent video games were not so easy for kids to play, maybe if the parent(s) would teach them that bad actions and crimes have severe actions, maybe if we treated mental issues as a disease like physical diseases, instead of a SSI, handful of meds and a follow up meeting there would be less of these things, maybe if the See Something, Say Something report was looked at closely instead of shrugged off. (the FBI couldn't trace his post but they can trace a Facebook post from some Trump follower) maybe if the DA would hand out the punishments the criminals deserve, instead of coddling him. After the reassuring hugs from the DA, I'm sure she will work her a$$ off to have him in a medical facility for years rather than put to death, maybe they should realize that Gun Free Zones are a free pass to kill people with no threat of retaliation till the police show up. After the last school shooting the suggestion was to adopt the Israeli system. when school is in session the schools locked, nobody in or out, teachers, staff or students with out clearing security. Teachers are randomly armed with open carry. The few attempts to beach the security ended with severe medical issues for the assailant. The ACLU and Teachers Union said that locking down the school violates the children rights to freely come and go. Him legally buying a weapon, IF his J.V. and school files of his violent behavior, mental and anti social issues were a matter of record instead of locked because it all happened when he was a "child", than maybe he and the other "child" shooters would not have been able to buy a weapon, since it would have shown up on the back ground checks. I guess the advocates think that a violent, angry childs out look on life magically gets better when they turn 18. But none of that will happen, because as everybody knows the gun owners are the real cause of the killings. Luckily Michell Bloomberg had his gun confiscation commercial on MSNBC,CNN,HLN and CNBC not 12 hours after the shootings. He has support of gun buy back/ confiscation like was done in Australia from Feinstrein, Blumenthal, Guildabrand, Warren, Waters, Pelosi and a half dozen others. Even Obama's speech at high noon today stated it is time to disarm America 100% and for his followers to get it done.. Good luck, That attempt will end with U.N. occupation. -

I have a pair of Indian Chiefs, a 52 and a 53 (close to the last made) I ride the wheels off them along with my 50 Hydra Glide. Even used my JD when I had it. Up to Laconia, to Poccano, Lime Rock even to the IGA. All restored and the 50 I went over board, white rubber pads and grips, polished cases, gold hardware. But if something happens to it, I'll fix it. I restored them to use and when I wear them out I'll do it again if I'm still alive. Same as my B Mixer, converting to AWD with a Tip Turbine 300, and converted the mixer to Hydraulic drive and it is going to work hauling concrete for all the construction on my property in Virginia. Built a 81 Camaro for a good friend, goes to get inspected once a year, other wise it sits in his garage and gets worried over. Longest ride was when I delivered it 5 miles from my house to his. -

Fed tax goes up, states follow and for a lot of people his tax cuts will almost (but not quite) pay the Federal and State Fuel tax increases. My increases commercially will be added to the job costs as all other companies will do. Will electrics will get a free ride, Government vehicles, Transit buses and school buses all be exempt from paying the tax or will property and school taxes increase to cover the added tax? I'd also like to see exactly where all the current fuel tax monies go, doubt it is even 50 cents on the dollar. -
She definitely was an independent woman. Raised 5 children and ran the family farm mostly alone. Gramps died in 1929 after the market crash . Came home from work sat down at her dressing table and shot himself. That will make you strong.

Most vehicles at big shows are over restored. Saw a 1941 Cadillac with original 700 miles and looked new, at Hersey loose because the chrome, paint and body panel fit didn't meet the AACA standards. I think the others should match the original standards. Plus they were built to drive not hide under covers. When we finished our 41 Chevy Convertible we drove it from N.Y. To PA for the 50th anniversary of the opening of the PA Pike and than Route 66 to the Fisherman's Pier in California. Even to Walmart and the grocery store. Whats the point of having it not to enjoy -
In 69 / 70 they were just cars, now collectables. Had in the old barn on Long Island an 1800 mile 1959 Impala wagon. Loaded with AC, PS, PB, power seat, power windows, 348 with Turbo Glide. Parked in 1959 because the insurance company would not pay enough for a dent in the back. Grandma said she'd let it rot before she'd settle. I removed it two years ago when the barn collapsed on it. Sold the date coded glass and the entire factory AC, dash and all. That was all that was salvageable.. Granny was nuts. Had a Fuelie Vette about 61 0r 61 chained to a tree because some body tried to steal it. Guess thats where my vehicle hording gene comes from
