  7. All our vehicles except my 55 chevy are sticks and the chevy has a B&M 1956 Olds Hydro Stick. On the plus side, not many car thieves or car jackers can drive a stick.

  10. Diesel will still be here in 50 years. there are applications electric just will not be practical in. The method for doing the cams is a aero space process. The normal cams are forged and than machined / centerless ground. Volvo /MACK set up is a tube most likely molly based steel, the lobs are formed as a stick , machines and sliced off. The "swege" process is actually called Cryo-Fitting . The cam lobes are chilled in liquid nitrogen and placed in position on the tube.They will not move when they reach air temp. The assembly is than heat treated and final finished on lobes and bearing journals. Been used in Top Fuel engines for 3 to 4 years and they survive 9000 h.p. 97% nitro methane. The cams are lighter, have more torsional "give" and less rotating mass = less wear and spool up faster. Paul As for keeping the driver alert. . . .electro shock seats

  12. Fake pic IMO. The aircraft on the barge has a single vertical stabilizer in line with the fuselage the Lockheed she flew had a twin tail.
  13. No need to replace amp meter, you just swap the wires from side to side, other wise it will read discharge when it is charging. The wiring does not care if it is pos or neg ground the load through it is the same. You are only changing the path to ground not the volts or amperes. Even somebody with a vintage car going from 6 to 12 volt the wiring is not an issue. FYI if you leave the pos ground there are Delco positive ground Alternators and if you want to run LED's there are now Positive Ground LED bulbs for vehicles. Made mainly for the British resto vehicles and available through Foreign auto parts.

  15. RE bleed the entire system. It may be a bad booster or a bad check valve. Does your booster look like this one? If it turns out to be the booster these peopel have the experence to do the early MACK systems.   17. That's not a Mack Visor, the 2 spots in the center are "troughed" out to attach to a roof with no gutter on the front like a Dodge , Ford or GM truck. Also has not form to go over the gutter over the side of the roof. No a Mack piece IMO More like a 70's /80's F 250 unit

  20. I miss counted Sorry! But one of my parts trucks is a 1920 with an 11 louver hood that was standard with the early radiator. The 11 louver hood was on my 1928-with the cage fan rad.
