Funny! I just heard Diane Finstein and Perez call Mr Trump the same thing... Like Evel or not, you have to have to be arrogant to pull off his stunts over and over again, Patton was considered arrogant, along with Omar Bradly and Mac Arthur, hell even Stormin' Norman and Dale Earnhardt were considered arrogant. All tops in their job.

Or so Volvo can tell you that you should have never been were you were. As for leaving them off? Probably get tagged out of service for them being "missing"

Volvo did that with the early Bosch/ Volvo Lambda digital fuel injection, vague diagnostics and the entire harness was white insulation and no number or other means of ID unless you were a dealer with their "secret interface". They've always been closed to none but factory techs. Both Volvo and most German vehicle makers add up dates during production and only the part depts know of the changes when there is a failure. Cost on customers. Remember their motto " we only make errors that profit the company"

Magnum Questions
41chevy replied to 41chevy's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
I thought so, I also think the only came with a ox blood color interior. I looked at one in Tennessee when I picked up my A Car wreck, had Magnum stripes but a dark grey interior and spokes on it. Struck me as a clone, but still if it isn't a real Magnum it may be worth making a realistic offer on it. -
Brown's was a family business with the Mother, Father, two Son's and a Daughter working at the production facility every day for over 55 years. they closed in 2015. Cab looks great! What are you doing with wiring new or reusing the original? Paul

Were spokes available on the Superliner Magnums or just alloys? Ox Blood interior color or others available?

Kind of dragged out but interesting public Service Ad from 1959 about peer Pressure. Nowadays I fear a public service ad like this would take a very different tone. It would start by addressing the cars owner. You just had to have a flashy car didn’t you? Your need for practical transportation was overwhelmed by your need for social esteem in a flashy new convertible. It outweighed your common sense. Then to compound things not only did you leave the car’s doors unlocked, you left the windows and roof down. What were you thinking? Were you thinking. You served up a platter of Tantalus’s fruit to these four upstanding young men whose community didn’t offer them wholesome educational after school programs. Oh, sure, one of them looked like a beatnik, what with his hair almost reaching the collar of his white T-shirt but where there’s no oppurtunity there’s no crime. You, sir, are guilty of entrapment of the basest sort, and you’ll face stiff punishment in court. The fines alone will see to it that you have to stop making payments on on that flashy car and get something more practical. The three joy-riders parents were called to the division of youth services. Under intense questioning they all admitted that none of them had ever told their sons that it was in fact wrong to steal somebody else’s car. They tried to worm out of their responsibility by saying they felt that lesson was self evident, sort of like telling them not to lick a hot stove burner or rub their gonads on a wolverine. These parents will be lucky to get their sons back after a year of intensive parenting courses in the department of youth enrichment. One of the boys missed his chance at performing in the state Sousaphone finals because he was unfairly targeted by the police because who profiled him because of his beatnik haircut. The judge awarded him the title to the convertible as a result. The other kids on the high school football team all took a knee during the National Anthem to protest this police harassment and insensitivity. All the department’s officers were forced to take sensitivity training and the motto on their squad cars was changed to “To Protect and Serve Sensitively.” As for Bill, the lily livered coward who wouldn’t go along, rumors stated that he himself called the cops on his friends noting the type of car and their direction of travel. The next day he was beaten into a coma at school for being a snitch.

Lavar Balls son is a typical I'm entitled because I'm ---- fill in the "minority excuse of your choice" the boy stole from shops, stole cars till he got busted when he was 14. Typical liberal trash. Lavar Ball may not let his son use his Ferrari for a day or two as punishment for what? getting caught? . ESPN News.11/19 UCLA freshman LiAngelo Ball may have set a record for steals in the storied college basketball program’s history before even playing one game. The reported shoplifting arrest of the “big baller” in China could result in a much bigger punishment than some might expect. Ball was among three UCLA players accused of looking for a five-finger discount at the Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou, ESPN reported Tuesday afternoon. The son of the polarizing LaVar Ball and brother to hoops stars Lonzo and LaMelo was nabbed just days ahead of UCLA’s game against Georgia Tech on Friday. While immediate details were scarce, such to the value of what was stolen, criminal penalties for theft in China are among the strictest in the world. “Those robbing public or private property using force, coercion, or other methods are to be sentenced to three to 10 years in prison in addition to fine,” according to the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China. If a weapon was used or if anyone was hurt, LiAngelo and/or his teammates could also face the death penalty, according to Chapter V of “The Crime of Encroaching on Property” portion of the criminal code. (but daddy say it's no big thing) The laws in China are so strict that one woman was sentenced to serve a decade in prison for stealing a cellphone in China. Another woman who stole food from a grocery store was sentenced to being publicly shamed by being forced to hold up a sign reading, “I am a shameless thief,” China Daily reported. In another sign of the country’s rigid criminal justice system, the above penalties were seen as being “too lenient” for shoplifting in 2001, according to the South China Morning Post. Back home in Southern California, LiAngelo drives a Ferrari, which typically sells for as much as $400,000. His younger brother LaMelo drives a Lamborghini. Their older brother Lonzo just signed a lucrative multi-million dollar contract with the Lakers. Their father was running the Big Baller Brand, an athletic lifestyle brand that sells sneakers for $495 a pair, among other pricy items. All of those facts likely left many wondering why exactly LiAngelo would need to steal anything at all. The least-heralded Ball brother, far from an NBA prospect, was largely seen as part of a package deal to guarantee his brothers would play for the storied UCLA program A few years ago my grandson and "friend" broke into my shop. Stole a blown alcohol Ed Pink engine from my funny car ($44,000 engine) a complete ready to run Max Wedge II Dodge engine and a 340 6 pack engine. Totaled up to just under 90 grand, they got $150 from a recycler, (I got them all back less a set of carbs) I pressed charges for Grand Theft and insisted the DA put the grandson in jail no plea bargaining or I'd be on the news making his life hell. Liberal daughter in law and idiot son wanted me to forgive him drop the charges and "just talk with him. Sentenced him to 3 years in the County Jail, let him out in 1 1/2 . . .he tried to steal a brand new Mustang from a dealer near the jail to "get home". Now doing 5 to 8 in NYS prison. The liberal parents insist to this day "if I didn't have those engines he wouldn't have taken them". MY FAULT ! That if I only listened to the reason they stole them I'd forgive him. I did like their reaction when I informed them that if he comes near or on my property they WILL have no need to leave the light on for him.

GOOD RIDDANCE P.O.S.
-
Can't judge him or others from that time by today's standards.
-
Some had the "trap door" in the hoods, for extra cooling when they had the additional tank set up over the top of the engine.
-
Court Marshall, Dishonorable Discharge and 5 to 7 years at Leavenworth would make N.O.W. happy. even Hillary was visibly up set.

Funny, but the only other one I've ever seen was only a few nights ago. George Raft and Bogart used one in "They Drive By Night".
