Stationary testing. I have photos of a Walther used for testing P2 Neptune power plants late Vietnam era. The tag in the second to last photo is on the engine oil pre heat / separation filter unit. It uses engine coolant to heat the oil on warm up. With the oils of that time they had a tendency to coke up and cause a feed drop hence the 500 mile change intervals. That was run until the early 30's. That is an early engine with the primer cups on the heads.

Received from Northrop Aircraft. The truck has a heavily enforced and special built cab. The truck is green and black. The truck has 146 1/2 inch wheel base. Mack 4 cylinder motor. Modified rearend for Dual rear wheels. The truck has cast rims. A lot has been done to beef up the truck chassis.

Two thing I was always told, never allow Russia and China to become allies and never trust North Korea. Scary is most of the Liberals will still be whining about pushing them after their first ICBM hits the west coast . Unless the N.Koreans hit us with an EMP from the satellites Mr Obama and Mrs Clinton allowed them put in orbit for "weather study'' Eh, at least my chickens will glow so I can find them in the dark.

Valve guides and rings will let oil past them on deceleration because of the vacuum (for want of a better term) BUT. I'd personally check the Valve Guide Seals first, they do get "dry" and worn from age and allow oil past the valve guides, more on Deceleration than acceleration.

Chassis numbers (GVW Rating): 4xx - 6xx - 7xx - 8xx - Note: the xx is the place holder for the engine code. Examples R607 END673 R609 END711 R611 ENDT673C R612 ETAZ673 (300+) R615 END864 V8 R626 6v92 Detroit R685 ENDT675 (237 Maxidyne) R686 ENDT676 (300 Maxidyne) R688 E6350 R719 ENDT864 V6 R795 ENDT865 V8 R797 ENDT866 V8 R747 290 Cummins R763 335 Cummins R767 350 Cummins T - Tractor S - Six wheel chassis L - Light weight components RS7xxLS as our example: R = R model S = an S after the R indicates it has a steel frame. This was a western Hayward thing i believe. 7 = has to do with the chassis GW rating. 800/900 series were extra and super heavy duty chassis. XX = these two numbers are engine codes. L = Hayward models had this letter to denote the cab used light weight components like aluminum doors. S = six wheel tandem chassis. so essentially it is a 6x4 chassis. Another example RW613: The W stands for Western and together with the R means a superliner or RW. 13 is a Cummins NTC engine. If there is an SX after the number code like R600SX it means you have a heavy duty tandem X - Extreme duty -
Is there a by pass valve for each drive? Might be full of your glitter and stuck partially open.

I would try pulling a vacuum on the air bound side and you should be able to get the air out. Ive done that with the power steer system on my scoopmobile that was air bound.

I had my liberal daughter in law explain to me that since I am a Republican, any thing I say can be proven easily as a lie. I told her that my right elbow has never been touched by my right hand. When I walked away, she was still standing there trying to figure out if it was possible.

Actually the tags would be included in the kit. Mack in Caracas Venezuela. The units were shipped there as a full knock down assemblies, so the Caracas factory would have assembled chassis, drive train and added cab assembly. Different from the normal KDA's because of import tariffs they would be shipped as separate sub assemblies..

Thomas the Tank Engine is going international for a 2018 make-over (one more victim of political correctness) By Ben Dowell The engine is leaving Sodor and the show is abandoning the Liverpudlian narration. But we are getting two new female trains. Thomas the Tank Engine is going into the sidings for an overhaul for the modern age. Out is going the much-loved theme tune and the Liverpool-accented narration – in are coming two new female trains for the TV series which has been renamed Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The TV series, based on the books by Rev Wilbert Awdry, is being overhauled for a new generation according to toy giant Mattel which owns the format. In the new, more politically-correct show, Thomas will leave his traditional home on the Island of Sodor for adventures abroad in stories that are being specifically designed to support the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals of quality education, gender equality, sustainable cities and communities, responsible non poluting consumption and production, and life on land. The changes will be seen in 2018 when the new series hits our screens and look likely to be the biggest shake-up to the children’s favorite since the stories were first adapted for TV in 1984. The Liverpool-accented narration – a tradition begun by Ringo Starr and continued by actors Michael Angelis and Mark Monaghan – will also “disappear” according to the Telegraph, as will the theme tune with its roll-call of engine names. Toy giant Mattel has owned the format for the show since 2011. It is sold all over the world and translated into 33 languages, with the current incarnation, Thomas and Friends, shown on Channel 5 in the UK.

My house in Virginia and both on Long Island have alarm link to F.D and sprinklers plus fire stops added in key areas. The shop under construction in Virginia will have foggers with a split link to our pond and city water. The welding / machine shop room and HVAC room will have Halon along with link to F.D. Always amazed that we put our most valued vehicles and equipment in a shop and cheap out on even a simple fire alarm and some type of suppression system. I looked at a big collection of trucks, many one of ones or sole survivors and the building were built just under what would require a fire system. FXFYMN and I had a discussion about my systems and submitting pics of my system to the ATHS mag.

When I get my plasma cutter pantograph un packed and set up I'll run a few dozen or so. I do them in 1/8" S.S.
-
Going to put some type of fire suppression system in it? Paul

I have the Bendix air brake handbook with a generic schematic, most all the systems are close. if you want I'll post the PDF. Paul
