  1. Oh my word how bout just leave your nice diesel truck just the way it is and be satisfied with it
  2. That sounds like Something Whistlin Diesel on Youtube would do. I'm not saying the Ratrod concept upsets me because I love "RatRods" done in good taste with a Rat Fink sticker on the door lol. This one to me was not in good taste. Of the pictures I've seen of your truck it's awesome 👌.
  3. I can understand Repurposing if it can't be saved but put the motor in another truck and make some original iron run again or build a mini semi with the cab on a pickup frame etc.
  4. That pictures almost looks like a 7.3 PowerStroke. That's exactly why my wife says she will never drive my 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty.
  5. Saw this on Facebook marketplace. Seller calls it a Ratrod. Although it maybe fun to cruise around in etc. I call it a waste of a Good Old Truck that's gittin hard to find.
  6. That's what happens with most because they don't stay active or as active.
  7. I can still run hard and make great money even with the ELDs. In these days So called drivers can't keep the Driver's door closed and stop all the time or poke along and then complain when they can't git a load delivered hahahaha.
  8. I'm the same way. I'm a "Have truck will Travel " kinda guy.
  9. My Buddy Chicken Troy and my other buddy Shadow tell me I'm ate up all the time hahahaha.
  10. Oh yeah took the John Deere tractor out to North Dakota, The two trucks went to Florida, The Van picture was Picking up what is called Garnet a type of abrasive for cleaning metal picked that up in West Virginia,The backhoe I picked up in Florida went to Euphala,Alabama. Next weekend ive got a load of Hay in a Dry Van going to Florida. I'm one of the only drivers my company has that will go Over the Road and stay out.
  11. I'm addicted enuff that I won't retire from driving till they tell me I can't do it no more.
  12. I'd drive it right now!! Would put it to work Monday morning if I had a rich uncle or maybe start me one of them go fund me pages lol.
  13. I figure one of these days I'll have an old bulldog sitting in my driveway with my name on the title
  14. I guess i never figured sitting behind the wheel of that Ford L8000 single axle pulling a lowboy with my Highschool instructor in the passenger seat heading to take my test that I'd go this far in my trucking career lol. Goes to show what a dream and determination can do.
  15. Three more years and I will have 2million miles in I figure. I put 1 million on in 9 and a 1/2.
  16. In the original 40sec video I you could hear me punch 13 then I moved out and around him and blew his doors off lol
  17. March 3rd I celebrated 17yrs of driving out here on the road. I wasn't even graduated from High school and I had my first driving job driving a CDL needed box truck delivering building materials. From there I went to driving garbage trucks for about 3yrs. Then decided I wanted to go to college for Diesel mechanics at one of the top Diesel Schools in the US which is The University of Northwestern Ohio. Or UNOH for short lol. After one session I wanted to drive more than work on them so I dropped out. And went into Foodservice delivery and that got me the chance to drive my first Tractor trailer a 1997 Mack CH613 Sleeper tractor pulling a pup trailer hauling frozen pizza and meat. It was a gold bulldog truck. Then I went into logging and that's where my over the road journey began and as they say The rest is history. Wouldn't trade one single day of it except maybe a couple truck accidents along the way. Everytime I go out for the Company I drive for now I add another state driven in to my resume. Still love it like it's my first run.
  18. "Because it Rhymes with Luck. Daddy always told me to be like a Duck. Smooth on the surface and kickin' like the devil underneath"

  19. Love that Super Dog!!! My Pinnacle has that kinda squared off look to it. That's what I like about it is it still looks like a truck. Would love to dress a Super dawg up just like my Green Hornet or a Rs700L maybe.
  20. Freightliner used to have a truck that held the World Record on Pikes peak.
  21. I'm one of those drivers that doesn't just give my opinion on observation and seeing an end result of someone else's misfortune. I've been there with a lowboy and thankfully in my instance there was no train insight. But the thought was still in the back of my mind but myself and my fellow logging crew members just worked quickly to git off the tracks. So after that I avoided rail crossings at all costs when pulling the lowboy. Didn't matter to me if the crossing looked OK I would find another way to go.
  22. Personally I wouldn't have crossed there with a lowboy. Just my observation.
  23. Wow ol'boy passed out behind the wheel. Thank God he or anyone else was killed.
  24. I've got a bottle of Pure Grain Alcohol at the house in my cabinet of collectibles. Never been opened and it's 190 proof. Clearer than water.
