  1. Alot of the Mega Carriers that are in Mild Winter areas I've seen with a tag and they raise them when running empty. I've even seen them with a tag on the trailer tandems.
  2. Wow Hennis Used to run Straight through Lima,Ohio. My Grandpa worked at The Old Lima truck Stop and he said "You always knew something was wrong on the Highway when you didn't see a Hennis Pass the truckstop every 20-30mins.
  3. Grew up with Roadway,CF,Yellow,CCX terminals just down the road.. Most of the Roadway trucks were. Single axle ford cabovers even pulling the longer trailers around here.
  4. It'd be neat if it had the original "Joe Dog" Set up instead of an Air Tag. Would love to see one in person
  5. Truck is left hand drive. I recorded it with my phone up in the left side of my Windshield. I have it in a holder that attaches to the Windshield.
  6. Looks like a truck used for rail yards. Fifth wheel is an early version of the trailer rails for picking up trailers dropped low or atleast that's what it looks like to me. I'd definitely pay the money for it being in excellent shape especially inside. But my wallet ain't that full
  7. That's one thing my Grandpa instilled in me about being a Truck driver. "Matt even if it ain't your truck you treat it like it's your own" "Cause without it you don't eat" . "Also how that truck looks is how you're represented as a Driver for your company, you want to earn respect out here on the road?" "Then have a truck that earns respect and conduct yourself in a earning respect manner". Then he would look at me serious and Say " Cause if you don't I'ma kick your butt...and Also if you don't you ain't a Truck driver in my book." You're just a man doing a job".
  8. That's awesome 👌. I love seeing the original kings of the road still hard at it.
  9. One of these days though you may just see me Drivin' an old R model with my name on the Title. You just never know. And I understand thar Volvo owns Mack but I believe that there is still quite abit of manufacturing differences between the two. Just like Peterbilt and Kenworth etc and even back in the day When Mack Bought Brockway each one has enough differences that still makes it a Good truck to do the Job a Driver needs it to do. Atleast the Mack name is Still around and not Erraticated like Mack did with Brockway and Volvo did with White and Gmc etc. I would rather see a Brand continue even if it's not Built by the original Company than see it go to the way side. Just my opinion though. Yeah we joke an call them VoMacks now but they are still excellent trucks and still tough as they ever were in my opinion.
  10. I understand that trucks are changing and yes I love the old monsters of the road but on the other hand I'm quite satisfied with my 2016 CHU613 Pinnacle. Mack MP8 at 445 horse with a Eaton 13spd. Yeah it has the dreaded DEF but the Ol'Girls still a Beast when I need her to be.
  11. Yeah My Grandpa told my Grandma "Babe I sure wished Matt Would've been driving back when we had our trucks. We'd still have them" that was after his first trip he took with me to New York State. Still makes me smile everytime I get behind the wheel.
  12. I actually don't have to go anywhere. I had to submit my information and pictures of the Truck.
  13. Couldn't resist alil night time action. Also I've enter the Green Hornet in her first truck show. Overdrive magazines pride and Polish online truck show. Votes open after September 5th. Hopefully she does well.
  14. I drove a 1989 Peterbilt 379 Extended hood with a 855 Cummins and 15spd Overdrive tranny. Bad Boy had 8 inch Pipes and when I hit the Jake's it made my heart flutter alil boy she sounded Choice too!!
  15. He rides with me almost everyday. He's one of the main reasons I got into this industry and love it so much as I do. He taught me the old school ways of truckin. I have his logbook cover and even acouple original tattle tail disks. I have the gold bulldog key chain He got when he purchased one of his Mack trucks as well it has a fold out little blade on one side and a small file on the other. I can still remember when he cried the first time he saw me pull into the truckstop in Wapakoneta,Ohio in a 1997 Mack CH613 and we got to roll down I-75 together and as he passed me My Grandma gave me an Arm pump and smiled and wiped a tear as I blew the air horn for her. I told him for years when I was a little kid that one day I was going to drive a truck and take him for a ride with me on a long run he would just smile and say "Matt you gotta be 25 to drive a truck ". Yeah I cherish the memories of the 2 trips I took him with me to Dover Plains New York. He took 96 pictures on our second trip. Yeah He's always with me out here on the road.
  16. Sure wish my Grandpa was still around to see that video Freighttrain. I do believe he'd be Proud.
  17. Paul I couldn't tell you how it works. Alli know is My Grandpa talked about driving his two stick B61 and driving his 3 stick B67. He said it was a Ball to Remember which gear he was in on the 3 stick.
  18. I would love to see someone post a video working the 3 Stick Mack my Grandpa had one it was a B67 I believe is what he said.
  19. Guys I went to high school with decided it would be awesome to steal a construction barrel. Little did they know that alot of times they are sealed at the bottom and hiding a 50lbs sand bag inside. Sucked the kid right out the back of that Chevy S-10 Hahahaha 😆 😂 🤣 Dude drove bout 2 miles before they noticed he was missing from the bed 😆 🤣 😂 😹
