  1. I had a designer friend of mine duplicate the logo exact as the original and then printed at my sign company. A gentleman was selling all those original fuel tax stickers on the ATHS site. 1973-1974 vintage. The truck originally came as a single axle with extended frame rails and a York tag axle was installed at the dealership when new .
  2. The start of the project
  3. Original Zavitz Bros truck, pic during blasting
  4. I would like to say thank you to everyone on this group that helped me out the last year while I restored my 1956 B-61 Thanks for answering technical questions and helping find parts. This is a fabulous group.
  5. You can see some type of copper mesh all that left of seal
  6. Yes this is from the original pic posted. The seal is completely wore right out. We have no idea why the cover is so bent and smashed. The only thing we can come up with is someone possibly wrapped a chain around and tried lifting it at the spline/cover area. I can’t even get seal out cause metal Is so bent
  7. Need help to verify the model of this single drive axle. 1956 B61, is it stamped on the diff anywhere
  8. Would you know of a seal number for center of this housing plate
  9. Thank you appreciate the info
  10. Anyone know parts # for pinion seal. Single axle. 1955 B-61. What’s involved replacing the seal?
  11. Thanks I seen that on EBay , trying to get a cross ref #
  12. Is there a cross reference # for a Stemco 2022 front axle seal. Anything available?
  13. I had my paint shop mix up samples of every code that has been posted on this site over the years. Nothing was even close. I finally had to do a scan and had a paint shop tweak it to get it close to factory.
  14. Anyone know the Mack part number for the kingpin kit for the Type III steering knuckle. It has the needle bearing on the top of the kingpin. I assume for the FA505 front axle. When did Mack switch from a bushing to an upper needle bearing on this kingpin? What application of axle was this used on I know the B used it but did the R model. What vintage of axle?
  15. I have the Type III steering knuckle without needle bearing.
  16. My kingpin is in tough shape, it needs replaced, so no buffing it
  17. Anyone rebuilt a windshield wiper control switch on a B-model. I assume there’s rubber o-rings internally
  18. 1955 B-61 with a FA-505 axle. For a pre-1963 it came up as a Mack 301SQ32B kingpin kit which crossed over to a Euclid E-4465-B. When we pulled the original kingpins today they are longer than the new Euclid kingpins. Original are 7 5/16” in length and new ones are l 6 5/8”. The new kit came with roller bearings and my original kingpins were only bushings. Any suggestions on the proper kit#. Anyone have pics of a proper kit.
