Denny - if you decide to NOT buy the MH, let me know. Perhaps there are some cab parts I can use.
  2. I have a castration knife that needs some exercise!
  3. Way to go Mike! Superdog Mike's orphanage for old dogs!
  4. Nice vids of Macungie. Glad someone documented the "exit". I found mine on Part 3 of 7 at 5:18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NR0Ed16CPU

That is what happens when you.....never mind. Take note Vinny!
  6. Met the infamous "other dog" and his better half today. Attached is the BMT group photo (and once again...there was a prominant BMT member AWOL). OD said he saw some winfall wimmin on the way to the show but did not have time to stop. L to R: MHfred, other dog, farmer52, fxfymn, and paccarnut.
  7. Happy Anniversary Mike! BTW, I found you a single axle F. Would make a nice gift for you to give the wiff. 1972 Mack F 237 5speed $5500. solid cab JT's Antique Trucks New Alexandria, PA (close to Watt's) 724.668.7450 office 724.309.2656 cell
  8. You mean motorboating?
  9. MHfred and I are parked across the gravel lot (south field) from the registration tent. fxfymn arrived today with his IH fire truck (he is parked in the north field with the other fire trucks). Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. P.S. Bring some Winfall wimmin with you....
  10. Then pull the engine and put it in "mothballs" so it can be converted back one day.
  11. There is a MH613 Liberty E9 at the Winchester ATHS show. I took a few pictures of it. I will try to get the VIN on Saturday.
  12. Seen a few like this one. I believe the original color was gray.
  13. Oh no! another leak?
  14. Where is everyone? MHfred is here but have not seen any other BMT members. The weather was great on Thursday and forecast is for more nice weather on Friday and Saturday. Lots of interesting trucks (Macks and non-Macks) here already. Word is lots more will show up today. Never saw so many Dodge trucks in one spot. Fred and I will be taking pictures today and Saturday.
  15. I replaced the tractor protection valve and air tank drain valves. While I was in the "mood" I replaced the trailer air lines and gladhands. The air does not leak down overnight like it did peviously. As I posted before, I am done "searching" for air leaks....unless I hear air leaking. On to the next item on my loonnnggg list.
  16. I agree. Keep it as built from Mack. It is worth more with the V8. Sell this one and look for another one.
  17. Yea, make sure you bring your lunch. About the only thing I can burn is the clutch.
  18. Lititz is located in Lancaster County in SE PA (east and south of Harrisburg). http://www.lititzpa.com/directions.php
  19. Welcome to BMT. Nice looking IH. I can't remember when I saw one like that. The Sightliner looks similar. What engine is in it?
  20. Yes, like before....meet at Watt's tent at 12Noon on Saturday. I may not be at the photo since I HAVE to be in Altoona by 3:30p.
  21. Mack Trucktoberfest Mack Customer Center/Museum Allentown, PA
  22. I am ready to roll on Thursday morning. Let's do a BMT photo on Saturday at 12Noon. Anyone familiar with the grounds to suggest a meeting place? I will be staying at the Stupid 8 on Millwood Pike. BTW, never did find a generator.
  23. Did anyone attend this auction? I did not....Mrs. Farmer had other plans for me.
  24. Maybe I should "open the box" on the MH and take a look inside.
  25. Liquid $hit can get intense but to a farmer it is the smell of money. Most farmers in my area spread it in the spring before planting and in the fall after the crops are harvested. The BTO farmers use big honey wagons pulled by either a farm tractor or semi-tractor with big wide lugged tires that you can hear a mile away. When I rented the farm one of the stipulations is NO LIQUID $hit. There is a paper mill in Roaring Spring (less than 2 miles from the farm). Years ago before air quality regulations, it smelled like $hit and there was a yellow scum on the side of the houses. Now there is not much odor. Nothing smells better than freshly mowed alfalfa or clover.
