  1. Mike, I was not there and I have witnesses to my whereabouts. And I know nothing. "Never did know anything." - Scrooge
  2. nice looking G and Cruiseliner
  3. Are you thinking of Peggy's Diner on 220 between Claysburg and East Freedom?
  4. Doug mentioned the Museum hired a new assistant...are you him?
  5. Al, Here is an older video of the cabover and conventional. I do not remember seeing the conventional recently but it may still be around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAN61N4_hms A video of the conventional https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxfBVWPnlww
  6. Billy T - Farmer 52, yeah that might be a stretch, It got a lot of media attention when it was built! I've never driven past it, Used to stop at the little truck stop near there. Thanks for the reply. Truck stop near there? Nothing close to their headquarters which is about two (2) miles south of RS on Route 36. Where was the truck stop and do you remember the name? BackinBlack - Farmer do theystill own the Drag Racing v12 Kenworth COE? I think so. I have not seen it this year but saw it last summer.
  7. 3406C used 14.5:1 CR
  8. If the boost is "jacked", lower compression would make sense. But sounds like a misfit engine.
  9. I am staying away for this one and still trying to forget the last one. Likely any flying machines will be shot down by the PaSP.
  10. The Keystone show is history. There were over 80 vehicles on the grounds by Saturday afternoon. Sadly no additional vehicles showed on Sunday. The weather was sunny but HOT. We are thinking the hot temperatures kept people away. Here are a few pics from the show. I was busy parking vehicles on Saturday so only was able to get a few.
  11. Is the "shoe" tree on route 50?
  12. This is a show in Hagerstown on September 17th.
  13. Scrapple...fried golden brown with apple butter....yum yum
  14. I heard Sept 17th too but have yet to see any details.
  15. Mike/Ed, That explains the hugging and handholding at the Nunnery.
  16. Do you have any air tanks? PNs 22QE1299M or 22QE4908M
  17. Bumping this to the top again....I am looking for a good used LH steel tank (22QE1269M or 22QE4907M). This is a single chamber tank. TIA
  18. Taking the PA green stamp to the Reading exit (Route 222) and then north on 222 to Allentown is an extra 17 miles (~20 minutes) and $14 additional toll. May give it a try when I attend Trucktoberfest in September.
  19. I-78 is a mess from east of Krumsville to Allentown. Perhaps it is time to find an alternate route.
  20. Carl - glad you got stopped without any issues. Did you need to clean your shorts? I went thru that area earlier but traffic was just starting to back up. Looked like a van was rear ended by a pickup pulling a travel trailer.
  21. I am the third from the right. I think hat is hiding between Jumper and Son and behind Leversole. Hat didn't wear his tinfoil hat.
  22. On Saturday I picked up a new tank (22QE31178M) from Barry. Perfect match. Perhaps I will try my "luck" on the LH tank. UPDATE: posted the wrong part number for the RH tank....correct number is now listed.
  23. I heard 705 vehicles were at the show. One of the best shows in recent years. Other than a "damp" start on Thursday, the weather was GREAT! Always nice to see friends, trucks, and the "walking stock" was not bad either. Met a few new BMT members. Mike - thanks for the transportation! BTW, goodbye Ron!
  24. Someone should be at the registration area by 8am (for sure by 9am). Saturday morning will be busy.
  25. Plan to arrive Thursday after lunch. Stopping by the hotel first to check-in then lunch at Pizza Slut. Rain in the forecast for Thursday but hopefully not a "gully washer". Like to find a "high spot" to park just in case. Safe travels everyone!
