  1. Sorry to hear. Take your time on the mend and get well. Like others said...the truck can wait and will be there when you get back to 100%.
  2. Not sure where to post but I received a flier in the mail today. Auction is July 25th in Friesland, WI. Most trucks are Diamond Ts but a few Macks (1921 AC, 1947 EF, 1951 LJ, and 1960 B68), some IHs and Buick cars. Interesting listing and pic of a 1957 Diamond T 730C twin engine cabover (RD450 and 350 Buick V8). Here is the link to the auction http://www.usauctioneers.com/July25/indexJuly25.htm
  3. I will not be able to attend. Hope it is a good show. Take pics and post. Thanks!
  4. Vinny - you opened the door...Like Ron said "all in good fun".
  5. "off day" as in a U model offset cab?
  6. No, 10692 (if I did my cyphering correctly). I am sure someone will tell me if it is incorrect.
  7. No, just the immediate area. I never heard about debris found outside of the memorial area.
  8. The computer (program) is specific to the engine and rating. It will need to be reprogrammed for the 460 rating. I do not know the mechanical differences in engines.
  9. Happy Birthday everyone!
  10. That too...it is just NOT A VOLVO thing!
  11. Not to keep hijacking this tread but John Deere, AGCO, and CaseIH do the same thing with old and obsolete parts. Likely other companies do the same.
  12. I can run up Cresson mountain 65mph in my MH......bobtailing...
  13. If you went 22 west you went up a steep winding grade from Duncansville to Cresson. I bet that 2stroke bellowed. But the long downhill grade into Blairsville is a great place to use your jake.
  14. Hmmm... Total miles? Engine rebuilt?
  15. 4.3L V6 with single turbo & intercooler (from wikipedia).
  16. Didn't the Syclone have a blown 3.8L engine?
  17. Mr. kscarbel, Perhaps you should put your "money where your mouth is" and buy Mack from Volvo. The purchase to include Hagerstown, Macungie, Customer Center (old Engineering), and the old Mack World Headquarters building. Dust off the old blueprints from the Museum and start building Rs, Us, MHs, and fire trucks with E6, E7, and E9 engines. BTW, I might consider investing some of my mother's nursing home funds to be a "silent partner". Oh and how do we know you are an American? We will need to see your birth certificate. Just sayin'
  18. Leslie - I think you should sell your Superdog to me at a reduced price.
  19. The connectors behind the speedometer and tachometer per MHfred?
  20. Today (Saturday) the wife, 2 of her friends, and I visited the Flight 93 Memorial near Stoystown, PA. It is an impressive but somber place. The story about the plane crash and recovery efforts is very interesting. One of the guides said only 8% of the bodies (parts) were recovered. The remains are "buried" at the site - it is one large grave. It is definitely worth the time to visit and get an understanding of what happened on September 11, 2001. One can only imagine what went thru the passengers' minds and also the area residents that day. September 11 will always be remembered as I was flying from Cleveland, OH to Phoenix, AZ that morning. Here is the link to some images I took at the Memorial http://s1305.photobucket.com/user/pafarmer52/library/Flight%2093%20Memorial#/user/pafarmer52/library/Flight%2093%20Memorial?sort=2&page=1&_suid=13731568474840054683887953974775
  21. maybe he wanted to change the asking price.
  22. Girl? I had to go back and look at the image again. She blends in with the truck. Dang, just turned 61 and already I can't see the wimmin!
