  1. One leg shorter than the other? BTW, our TK waitress was the one on the far right. I recognize the boobs face.
  2. Tim/Ben - your trip was more "interesting" than mine. Good to meet you guys (and daughter) and glad you made it home safely. You mention Altoona, did you get off the turnpike at Bedford? Route 22 from Altoona to Cresson and Edensburg is uphill most of the way. Then there are the two (2) long downhill stretches before you get into Blairsville. See you at Watt's in August. And for OD - well I will forgive him since he was scouting Winfall Wimmin.
  3. Being the avid photographer that I am....we need to get organized and form 3 lines (tall in back and shorter in front). I would mention big in back but then most of us would be in the back row. But as Barry said "this is like herding a bunch of cats!". Or in this case a bunch of rabid dogs. JT - I am sure there are lots of truck shows this summer. Watt's show in August is a nice little show, then Gerhart's in October, and Mack Trucktoberfest in October. Keep us posted on your progress.
  4. You did not mention the upgade. You could have invited the BMT group over for a party.
  5. Not really just two (2) big boxes of furniture pads. Vlad and JT backed out. Must have been JT's comment about chili. Got some good suggestions and ideas tho.
  6. Remember the rule...pics or it didn't happen...
  7. You mean this one? BTW I was history by 8am. Oh and Denny I did get up at 5am.
  8. roids and powder? I better quit now.
  9. Great show pics everyone!
  10. Mack was developing a "big 6" and the prototype was sitting in the museum. It used similar components from the E9 but abandoned the project. I thought there was only one engine built.
  11. Had a couple "puckers" and an "aw shit" on the way back to the farm on Sunday morning... Pucker #1 Cruising south on I81 just north of Harrisburg. Speed limit in the area is 65mph and I was going about 60mph. State Police sitting in the median. I drove by and looked in my mirror...damn if he didn't pull out and follow me for couple miles then blew by me. Whew! Pucker #2 As I passed through the toll booth at Breezewood I was flagged over by the DOT Inspector. I parked as far away from the booth as possible. What seemed like an eternity, he finally walked up next to me giving the trailer and truck a close look. He asked "what is this exemption?". I explained the MH is a show truck and I just came from a truck show in Macungie. He gave the truck another once over and I could read his mind "show truck...where is all the polished chrome?" While he was looking I told him the truck was a private vehicle and not for hire. It is a hobby and I take it to shows. Finally he asked "Do you get trophys or prize money at these shows?" I was actually impressed he knew the meaning of the exemption. I told him "no sir, it is for fun". Another "are you f'in' crazy" look and then he said "have a good day" and turned and walked away. Whew...2 puckers in one day...I just hope my shorts aren't stained. My "aw shit" came in Breezewood. I was sitting at a signal light waiting for what seemed like an eternity for it to change to green. I spied a good Diesel fuel price and decided to make a right turn and get fuel. Well I thought I had enough room to make the turn. As I was turning, I "kissed" the curb with my right rear trailer tire. Oh well, it could have been worse, just my feelings were hurt along with a scuffed side wall. Otherwise an uneventful return trip from a great weekend at Macungie.
  12. I always say...know where you are going before you turn on the GPS or as a friend calls it "bitch in the box". Leslie - were you cruisin' for Winfall Wimmin?
  13. David - missed seeing you at Macungie. Did you have "orange" on the back of your truck? If so, need I say any more?....
  14. Hey, Vision386 made it!
  15. Thanks OD...missed you at Macungie.
  16. Happy Birthday
  17. Another great show!!! If you were not here you missed seeing over 600 vehicles and a lot of nice people. The weather started out rainy on Thursday but Friday and Saturday were gorgeous. Thanks to Doug and the ATCA staff for organizining and executing a great show (the Friday night potluck was awesome too). There were over 30 BMT members present for the noon photo but a few were missing (I will not mention any names). Thanks also to DCR (Denny and Ruth Ann) for the great dessert social. Actually the dessert was not very good so Leversole, fxfymn, and I had to eat extra portions just to save others (JUST KIDDING!!!!!). I am sure many on here will post pics for those who could not attend. I hope everyone has a safe trip home.
  18. Great day on Friday! Weather was beautiful and more of the same forecast for Saturday. The grounds are drying nicely. I met alot of BMT members on Friday. Friday night dinner was GREAT! Jay (fixit4162) and Randy (1958FWD) were the big lottery winners, well maybe their wifes were. I am going to spend most of Saturday taking pics of trucks. Don't forget....BMT group picture at 12Noon at Watt's tent and DCR's coach at 2PM (parked near the Walnut street entrance (south end where the shuttle busses are located). P.S. Denny (Ruth Ann) - slept in until 5:30A!
  19. I just go to the website.... www.mcmaster.com
  20. You know the rule....PICTURES!!
  21. My maiden voyage to Macungie... The trailer makes a completely different driving experience with the MH - for the good. No more "slap" in the back, no more shift lever spasms or jumping out-of-gear, and no more "skipping" sideways when hitting a bump. I could still feel the bumps, 1st one front axle, 2nd one rear axle, then nothing. I tried to watch the trailer and it never bounced nor could I feel any bumps or even know the trailer was back there. Of course the engine worked a little harder to pull the extra load but other than that it runs and pulls great. I was able to run 65-70 mph when the pavement was dry. My only concern is stopping suddenly on wet pavement but I hope I never have to find out. I checked my trailer "cargo" (a plastic storage chest) and it hardly moved. It is different than pulling a trailer with a pickup or SUV...you can feel every move of the trailer. Unless I drive less then 20 miles, I am NEVER going to bobtail again.
  22. Welcome to the forum We like pics!
  23. Most of you have seen my MH612 but here is a pic from Macungie.
