I can vouch for the TK food. Doug has us sit in the back so we would not be tempted by see the "scenery". When it was my turn to order I asked for the "girl on the menu" but was refused. Maybe the waitress thought I could not afford the girl. Enjoyed meeting Vlad, his son, and FWD's wife and son "small". Thanks Randy for arranging the dinner and the transportation.

LOCK UP THE WOMEN AND KIDS.....farmer is in town! As Randy (FWD) stated I am in the hotel and thought I would check BMT before driving to Macungie. It rained an inch at the home farm this morning. I waited until 8a to leave and did not have any rain the whole drive. The turnpike was wet in spots but no falling moisture. I will write more about my trip in my Great Dane Trailer thread. But in a nutshell.... I am in agreement with Carl - I don't want to tear up the grounds and also not anxious about cleaning mud off my truck/trailer. P.S. Denny - you and I will have a little chat about sideways pics. I thought you owned a U model motorhome and it fell on its left side.

Yuck! 2-3 inches of rain predicted for Thursday. I am going to make my way to Macungie later this morning but will likely "hole up" in the hotel this afternoon. I will do a "driveby" on Friday and if the show grounds is "mud" then back to the hotel. I don't have the time and resources to clean mud from my truck/trailer. Let's hope the forecasters are wrong.

I am going to undertake the maiden voyage. Hopefully I can get there before the monsoon. BTW, Carl (fxfymn) is not coming on Thursday so I will need a ride from the show to my hotel in Fogelsville, to TKs Thursday night, and back again on Friday morning. Or should I just sit out the storm on Thursday in the hotel parking lot and show up on Friday. I am thinking if I can get in early Thursday perhaps the grounds will be okay. I remember the truck/trailer area was on higher ground. Anyone local know how quickly the grounds turn to muck?

BMT group photo at 12Noon on Saturday at Watt's tent. DCR (Denny) and his wife are hosting an informal gathering at their motorhome at 2PM on Saturday. I have never been to the Friday night dinner. Can an area be "reserved" for BMT members?

No admission charge. There is a charge for parking. If it is like the past several years, buses run on Saturday to the plant and museum. Check the bus schedule.

Look for a Stihl unit. Buy a Kombi power head. Then you can add attachments. They say "made in USA". I sure hope so since that is what I own.
