  1. Barry, WOW! I was surprised to see the "new look". So far I like it but will give it some time and perhaps compare to the blue theme. Although I am partial to blue. Is the "LIKE" restored to show who "liked" a post?
  2. Thanks guys! I need JT to demonstrate his buffing technique on my fuel tanks and bumper.
  3. Yea, right...Martian rolls - out of this world and better than the ones made in PA. I will have a dry place to sit if it rains. Are you bringing "horse dumplings" for dessert?
  4. Vinny - did you send your list of U parts?
  5. Interesting video. The cam change in effect is adding EGR which, as mentioned, lowers NOx emissions. Mack tried that with the IEGR engine. If I remember correctly, the last V92 DDEC were "relatively" low emissions.
  6. If anyone is going to be in Macungie on Thursday night...let's get together for dinner. I already contacted fxfymn (Carl) and like me, always ready to eat. I am still planning to pull the trailer so I will be parked in the truck/trailer area. Of course you can't miss the MH. Randy (FWD) - how far is TK from the show? I am staying at the Hawthorne Suites in Fogelsville. Don't forget - BMT group photo at 12Noon on Saturday. Meet at Watt's tent. Denny (DCR) mentioned a group gathering on Saturday, I believe at 2pm. I sure hope we have time to look at the trucks!
  7. Looks good...amazing what a little buffing will do. Yes, good idea to replace belts. Also look at your hoses and carry some duct tape or survivor tape. I also carry extra oil, coolant, and filters. Do the basics and you will be good to go. 2+ hour drive...leave early and take your time. Stop every hour and look at everything. See you in Macungie! P.S. Keep an eye on your gauges (oil pressure, coolant temp, voltmeter, and air pressure).
  8. Good luck in your new venture!
  9. Installed a new extended (48") exhaust stack. The top is 1"-2" shorter than the trailer.
  10. Nice pics. Love the architecture. Looking forward to meeting you and your son in Macungie. Safe travels!!
  11. Congratulatons Randy!!!! I think more than just Ron found your lost weight. BTW, should I stock the "hospitality" trailer with donuts to celebrate? Oops!!!
  12. For all you Bee Gee fans and for those who aren't. This is a great video to watch. And the "scenery" isn't too bad either! Rita Hayward, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and other talented dancers of yesteryear dancing to the BeeGees, "Stayin' Alive". Can you imagine the editing involved in this? A great job of putting clips together with the music.http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=mz3CPzdCDws
  13. I just noticed a CHAT tab - I must be getting bored or spending too much time on BMT. I clicked on the tab and a chat room appeared. Has anyone used the live CHAT feature?
  14. Speaking of mo-cycles. I am very close to putting my 1984 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk up for sale. I bought it from the original owner last year. It has less than 2600 miles. It seems I have no time to enjoy the bike since I am busy with the house in OH, the farmstead in PA, and looking after my mother (even tho she is in the Nursing Home). I replaced the original tires last fall, rebuilt the front calipers, and changed the engine and differential fluids. I still need to bleed the brakes and change the clutch master cylinder fluid. If anyone is interested in a pristine bike, send me a note.
  15. I am in agreement. I just saw an 89yo Senator died. WTF is an 89yo doing in office!
  16. Nice truck! I hope you have good luck with it.
  17. Great statement. That is one reason I am retired....I have too many scars from bosses who had my back "back stabbers". Too many bosses today want you to their back...on your knees and smooching! Yes Mike, glad you were "reimbursed" but most companies do not put a value on your "time away from home".
  18. Less than two (2) weeks till show time!
  19. Is it made of canvas? If so, you might contact the Mack museum and try to get a print of the boot. Then go to a canvas shop and have them make one. I did that for my H67.
  20. Umm, gee....I agree with 99.9% of what was posted....does that make me a redneck law abiding tax paying American? I look at my mother in the nursing home. Between her and me, we are are paying 100% of her care. Insurance stopped long ago. She and my late dad worked all their lives and our "wonderous" government cannot give her support and comfort in her later years (and many other senior citizens like her). They made America great! But we can give millions to illegals and foreign countries. What is wrong with this picture?
  21. It is good that Mack is doing something to celebrate 50 years but too much chrome for me. Like the burnt orange tho. Grille resembles the Superliner.
  22. Hmmm...a Mack in a GM? That would be different.
  23. Good looking superdog!
  24. Interesting pics...thanks for posting. Autocar with a load or 1966 or 1967 Dodges. One is a 2-door Coronet and a Coronet station wagon...nice!
