  1. Tom, Nice pics as always. Sorry I missed your call the other night. Have a good weekend.
  2. There is a DOT exemption for vehicles used for personal/private/not-for-hire use - FMCSA 390.3(f)(3). Does anyone know if I need to have a FMCSA inspection on the trailer? How much (ball park cost) does an inspection cost?
  3. Registration form... 2013 07 Keystone ATCA Show.PDF
  4. Looks like several are infected. Yuck! Or is it a 3-dimensional tattoo?
  5. I like it alot! What would be a reasonable bid?
  6. Mike (mike69mackman) I think I found the buyer of those PA state trucks at auction in Newville.
  7. JT - sounds like you are making some progress. As others have mentioned - time can be your biggest "friend" or "enemy". Keep plugging away and one day you will see your accomplishments. I sure hope you can bring your General to Macungie for us to get a closer look.
  8. You can leave the back door open. And if it rains, I will park the trailer so the water runs out.
  9. 2500psi is the injection pressure for a pre-chamber engine. Most early DI engines were in the 5000 to 7500psi. Later DI P-L-N engines were pushing 15K psi. Today's unit injector engines are in excess of 30K psi. Higher inejction pressure and finer atomization of the fuel promotes complete combustion for more power, better fuel economy, and lower exhaust emissions.
  10. JT - I will rent you a few moving blankets and you can sleep in the "hospitality" trailer with Vlad.
  11. I'm with you Larry!
  12. Contact the Mack Museum for permission to reproduce (copyright release).
  13. Nice post Denny! See you in a few weeks. Be safe and tell Ruth Ann hello. BTW, where is the pic of you working?
  14. Welcome!
  15. I am only licensed for 26K but I am up for an adventure.
  16. Likely all the lines are the same length but you should make each new line identical to the old line.
  17. As long as you don't run "full power" you should be okay without lead substitute. I think most HD truck engines had hardened valve seats.
  18. I am guessing older pump-line-nozzle systems are in the 7500 psi range.
  19. All set for Macungie! 20. Fuel injection lines are typically all the same length (all cylinders 1-6). Also the wall thickness of a brake line is not thick enough. Best to just go buy a set or have a fuel pump shop make them.
  21. Today I switched the trailer title from AZ to OH without any issues. Also got license. Let me just say...."A bunch of BS from the license bureau." I went to another location and everything was okay.
  22. I agree...used oil analysis. But UOA will not detect "big" pieces. "Big" pieces need a particle count/analysis.
